J-Max
I have been looking through Pop Culture recently and I am not impressed. Dj bought in new Rules regarding Pic Crediting a While back but that seems like it was only for Realistic only. I have a suggestion I would like to make. I suggested extending the Pic Crediting to other Areas of Custom Cards as well. A Link to the Image directly under the card (Check most of my Pokevolution cards as an example) People in DA and other places deserve Credit. Even for Pop Culture and any other. This is just a small thing I want to put forward to you all as my mission to elp YCM in any way I can.
Seta
That would help, alot. But how about someone loses the link? It would be pretty hard to find it again, and I know what Im talking about, couse that happened to me, when I was a newb. - GD
SushiTheLegend
The thing is, as far as things are concerned Bloodrun is making this apply to Pop Culture and Realistic as he stated in his rules thread, however people aren't taking notice as they believe the disclaimer will suffice which it won't anymore. J-Max
I always make it a Habit of having an extra Tab open with the Image then I put the Lin to the Image under the Completed Card. The last thing we want is a Rouge DA Member coming on and complaining. We had it a month or so ago with someone regarding a Stolen Splice.
SushiTheLegend
Well the best thing to do is make a note of your links, unlike someone who decided to delete his when he got angry depressed, but beside the point Bloodrun is enforcing it, so there will probably be an announcement made about the disclaimers. But soon, no links were needed anymore, I wonder why was that :?. I also agree with Luke.
J-Max
I think it was due to the fact that mostly everyone ignored the Rules. IMG Links I understand but people from DA and other sites do deserve Credit. And I will back up Bloodrun in anyway I can regarding hopefully enforcing these rules. Seta
Again, your absolytely right. Members of DA should have more credit, though many of them are as good as Kazuki Takashi! And I think the members who ignore rules think like this: What need is there for rules? I can deal with it myself! or something like that... SushiTheLegend
Yeah, but what they don't realize is it does harm to this forum, the forum was nearly closed last time.

J-Max
Yep. More so the Pic Credit. A Disclaimer should only be used when using a Pic from say *AHEM* a Hentai Site :P
Larxene
And what if I found my picture on Photobucket, and have no idea who made it?(which I usually do)
J-Max
Then a Link to the Area where you got the Image. The one which shows the 4 options for showing it on a Website. Here's a Good example: http://gs264.photobucket.com/groups/ii200/2Z8HX5POVY/?action=view¤t=PokevolutionShaymin.jpg

SushiTheLegend
Disclaimers aren't allowed anymore is what Bloodrun said. He has also said for photobucket images you just link to the phobucket image. All he has said regarding artist credit is to give their name, but if that doesn't work then he'll enforce providing links for that.
Bloodrun
J-Max, I have stated that the rules will extend throughout the entire CC section. Except of course for Written Cards... Edit:Luke summed it up rather nicely.
SushiTheLegend
Bloodrun I think you should post something in News, that generally gets people's attention.
Larxene
Okay, I have another question.... What if some of my cards are already finished, and I don't remember where I found all of the pics, nor would they even fit in the first post? SushiTheLegend
These rulings are more toward newer threads than older threads.
Bloodrun
Okay' date=' I have another question.... What if some of my cards are already finished, and I don't remember where I found all of the pics, nor would they even fit in the first post?[/color'] The new rule, (just like last time) applies only, for the new threads. Now I can imagine that this rule will be hard getting use to. Which is why I will be liniant, for the first couple weeks.
God GAK
These rulings are more toward newer threads than older threads. Alright, that was what i wanted to ask. So, from now on, apart from the disclaimer, we must post the link to the image? What if it was a render from planet renders.net and we just edited all over (like i do with most of my images)? About photobucket and DA i understand it, but about the renders i am a little confused. theoretically the renders aren't theirs 'cause they made the renders from a stock which belonged to somebody else. so? what will have with this? Larxene
What if I'm updating a thread I made before this rule was in effect?Even if I could find all the images again, they wouldn't fit in the post

That way we can establish the connection from where you found it, and have reasonable "evidence" if anything happens. And clairex, If the card is new, as well as the picture, you must provide the credits.
Luna Diviner
I am not asking to be let of but is putting the creator under the card, like I usualy do, good for the first few weeks. I am really sorry if I anger you for asking this.

So yes as long as it can be seen, it is fine.
