My critique of your splice will be pretty lame due to the fact you didn't save a .png. This makes the sprite kind of ugly and I can't see what you did wrong very well. Now between the two, I like the second one. it has more spliced into it. Both though lack many much change and are pretty simple. Also in most cases people would have given Psyduck colors to both, to better represent them. Well I can't say much more. As stated, your biggest problem is that it isn't a .png.

Compared to the old one, it does look better, since it is now a .png. Yet there are still issues. First off I think it is kind of boring since now all it has spliced onto it is a tail, eyes, and the little hairs. I guess though you were going for that dopey look, so I guess it isn't all bad. On the recoloring, I have to say you have an error, you left over the dark blue borders form quarsire. You need to find Psyduck's dark yellow and recolor some of the borders. On a spriter, not all borders are black. Aslo I noticed that on its left arm, you must of done something weird to the border, and you also did something weird to the other arm. The tail isn't put on perfectly either.

 

I'm glad though to see you listened to critique, and I hae to say it helped you a good deal, lets hope this one does too.
