I like both the cards................ a lot. Star's is interesting and dangerous for the opponent to leave alone for too long. But Swift's is rather innovative with the Tribute requirement being Circulations. This is a b**** of a choice.

I'll have to get very, very, very hyper critical with my card judging.

Also, it doesn't matter if this card is tributed while there are 50 counters on the field, you only get to use 1 effect with Star's card.

Names

Dragon of the Poison Swamp

Sounds cool, makes it look like it has some sort of history, and has no errors whatsoever.

8,47/10

Poetic Darkness-Abyss' Child

Sounds good too, but it means that the card itself is darkness.

A monster that is darkness itself doesn't really make sense.

Also, there should be a space before and after the '-'.

Art

Dragon of the Poison Swamp

Looks cool, but because it's 3D, it doesn't really fit a YGO card.

7,23/10

Poetic Darkness-Abyss' Child

Nice art, just a little 'untidy', but still very good.

Stats

Dragon of the Poison Swamp

2 Tributes for a monster with 2450 atk looks fair. It has a weakness, low def, but also deserves it, so that's only a + point. WATER attribute also fits it, because it has something to do with poison.

Poetic Darkness-Abyss' Child

3 Tributes for a monster with 2950 looks like some sort of waist. If it's Abyss' Child, shouldn't it be DARK? This card does not have a weakness in atk, but also doesn't deserve it.

Last, but not least...

The Effect

Dragon of the Poison Swamp

It deals out counters and then uses an effect based on the number of counters... Nice idea. If the opponent controls one monster and you 2, you can tribute summon this card and there'll be 4 counters on the field. He can deal the 5th by milling your deck; very handy.

Then what do we get when you tribute it?

-5+: Your opponent discards 2 cards from their hand.

This is very broken and will most likely leave the opponent without options. I was afraid you'd do something like this to the card...

Anyway, if it was the same situation, but you used Ojama Trio to give the opponent 3 extra monsters, there'd be 5*2+1=11 counters on the field. When doing this, you'll get a Heavy Storm with burn included. This seems well worth it. The other effects aren't really overpowered since they are hard to get, but the problem is that they're just too hard to get and won't use them.

Poetic Darkness-Abyss' Child

A semi-nomi monster that you Special Summon by tributing.... 3 1st Edition monsters o_0

When it is attacked, you can tribute a Limit Edition monster from play to remove the attacking monster from play.

This is really not original, and such a part of the game should not matter to the gameplay.

Also, I spot an OCG Error, something I didn't spot in Star's card. It's 'attacking' monster, not 'opposing'.

All in all, it's effect is quite handy, but it's a little underpowered.
