Damon: What?

 

Lenny: Uh oh.

 

Mizura: Not good.

 

Jeff: No.

 

Hugo: I activate Data Recovery File! At the cost of half my Life Points,

Hugo: I can pick any 2 Machine-type monsters in my Graveyard and place them back into my hand! I choose Barrel Dragon and Blowback Dragon! Now I activate the card that will destroy you!!! I activate POWER BOND!

 

Damon: Egh!

 

Lenny: No! Not Power Bond!

 

Mizura: Oh no!

 

Jeff: It's over!

 

Hugo: I use this card to fuse my Barrel Dragon and Blowback Dragon into Gatling Dragon!

 

Gatling Dragon: 2600 ATK

 

Hugo: Now my Power Bond doubles my monster's ATK strength!

 

Gatling Dragon: (+2600) 5200 ATK

 

Damon: No.

 

Hugo: I now activate my monster's special ability! For each red that I get, I destroy 1 monster on your side of the field! Go!

Hugo: On the first one! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Destroy Tyrant Dragon with your effect!

 

Damon: No! Not my dragon! [Tyrant Dragon is destroyed]

 

Mizura: Tyrant Dragon was Damon's last hope!

 

Jeff: This might be it!

 

Lenny: Damon!

 

Hugo: Time to end this! Gatling Dragon! Attack that hack directly and blow him away with Gatling Gun Barrage!

 

Lenny and the others had to watch in horror as Damon was being fired at by Gatling Dragon.

 

Mizura: Oh no! Damon!

 

Lenny: Hold on, man!

 

Jeff: How brutal.

 

Then the attack was over; all was silent as Damon's side of the field was covered with dust.

 

Hugo: That's what happens when you challenge Hugo Locke to a duel! You got decimated by my superior skill as a Regional Champion! You shouldn't have challenged me to a duel in the first place! Your idiocy got you your first defeat! You lose!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

 

Damon: You're quite wrong, Hugo!

 

Hugo: What?!

 

The wind picked up a little bit and blew away the dust and Damon came out unscaved as well as his Life Points.

 

Damon: 800 LP

 

Hugo: What?! You endured the attack?! Your Life Points are intact! What's going on here?!!!

 

Damon: Part of the answer lies with your monster, look at it.

 

Hugo: Hm? [looks at Gatling Dragon] What?! My monster! It…it…!

 

Gatling Dragon: 0 ATK

 

Lenny: It has 0 ATK points!

 

Jeff: How did that happen?

 

Mizura: We're about to find out.

 

Damon: Hugo.

 

Hugo: What?

 

Damon: Have you forgotten about the face-down card I had earlier?

 

Hugo: What?!

 

Damon: Guess not. You were so anxious to beat me that you forgot.

 

The dust then completely cleared and Damon's card was revealed. The image was a voodoo/witch doctor like creature.

 

Hugo: No! Not that card!

 

Damon: I'm afraid so, Hugo. My Reverse Trap was the perfect card to counter your Power Bond.

 

Hugo: Why you little…!

 

Damon: When they say Power Bond doubles the ATK of a fused Machine monster, that's just a general statement. The specific text clearly states that it increases the ATK of the monster by an amount equal to its original ATK. It had 2600 ATK points. So 2600 plus 2600 equals 5200 right? But what if Power Bond worked backwards? What if it LOWERED the monster by its original ATK amount? 2600 MINUS 2600 equals a big fat ZERO, which is what your Gatling Dragon had!

 

Hugo: So what?

 

Damon: 800 LP

Hugo: 550 LP

 

Hugo: You may have stopped my onslaught, but on my next turn, I will come at you like a force you could only dream of!!!

 

Damon: By the time you end this turn this duel would have already been over.

 

Hugo: What? What are you saying?!

 

Damon: Don't tell me you were so desperate to win that you forgot the consequences of using Power Bond.

 

Hugo: Wait a second…No! No! It can't be!

 

Damon: I'm afraid using Power Bond caused your own defeat.

 

Hugo: There must be some mistake! There must be something else I can do! [looks at his hand of cards rapidly]

 

Damon: Don't waste your time, Hugo. You've lost. Just end your turn, and it'll all stop.

 

Hugo: [silence]

 

Damon: Hugo?

 

Hugo: [silence]

 

Damon: Fine, if you won't end your turn I'll end it for you! Your turn is over! [thumb down]

 

Hugo: NOOOOOOO!!! 0 LP

 

Final Result:

Damon: 800 LP

Hugo: 0 LP

 

Hugo then fell to his knees and soon all fours as the others ran towards Damon in happiness.

 

Lenny: Damon! That's gotta be your best duel yet!

 

Mizura: That was awesome!

 

Jeff: That was rather entertaining.

 

Damon: Thanks guys. Be right back.

 

Damon then walked over to Hugo.

 

Damon: All right, you slime. We played it your way and you lost at the hand of your own blind arrogant pride. Now hand over Jeff's Wicked God Card!

 

Hugo: Fine. A deal's a freakin' deal!

 

Hugo threw a card at Damon. Damon caught it in mid-air, it was indeed The Wicked Eraser.

 

Hugo: This isn't over! The next time we meet, you will suffer the full force of my vengeance!

 

Damon(angrily): I look forward to it, Hugo.

 

Now that they've said their *ahem* goodbyes, Hugo parted ways with Damon and the others.

 

Lenny: Man, that guy was the biggest jerk.

 

Mizura: You're telling me. What a bully.

 

Damon: Jeff.

 

Jeff: Hm?

 

Damon: Here.

 

Damon was handing Jeff the Wicked God Card.

 

Jeff: Thanks but…you keep it.

 

Damon: But I have no intention of using it.

 

Jeff: Sorry, but according to the rules, it's your card now.

 

Damon: But Jeff…

 

Jeff: I'll admit; it's my most precious card. But it would be better taken care of in your deck.

 

Damon: Come on, Jeff.

 

Jeff: Promise me one thing; promise me that you'd take the best care of it.

 

Damon: Errrm…Fine, I promise.

 

Jeff: Thank you, that's all I needed to hear.

 

Damon: So what'll you do now?

 

Jeff: I might as well keep dueling until I suffer my third and final loss.

 

Damon: That plan is…sketchy.

 

Jeff: Who ever took control of me with that necklace handed me that Wicked God and built a deck around it and made sure I had the ferocity and darkness to use it. Without it, I can't play my deck properly, at least not THIS deck.

 

Damon: What are you…? Never mind, why not travel along with us?

 

Lenny: Yeah, the more the merrier.

 

Jeff: Thank you for your gracious offer but I must decline. We're all playing the hand we're dealt. And I don't mean that as an analogy to Duel Monsters. I might as well go where I must. I'm pretty sure we'll cross paths again one day. Until then, peace out.

 

Jeff started walking a different pathway.

 

Damon: Well then, bye…I guess.

 

Lenny: See ya then!

 

Mizura: Bye, Jeff!

 

Jeff: Bye, guys! Good luck on your journey!

 

Lenny: Same to you, dude!

 

Mizura: Good luck!

 

Then once again, our heroes were on their journey. Not long after they started walking (About 2 or 3 minutes), Damon started to feel something weird in the air. The kind of feeling you get when you think that you're being watched.

 

Damon: Hold on, guys.

 

Lenny: Damon? What is it?

 

Mizura: Is something wrong?

 

Damon: It feels like we're being watched.

 

Mizura: I don't feel anything.

 

Lenny: Yeah, what's your deal?

 

Then the trees started to rustle. Someone or something is definitely here.

 

Damon: I know you guys heard that!

 

Lenny & Mizura: Yeah.

 

A specific tree rustled again and Damon pinpointed the noise and threw a Duel Monsters card at it. Then a kunai shot right out of the tree and cut the card down the middle.

 

Damon: Look out!

 

Damon and the others quickly got out of the way as the kunai hit the ground.

 

Mizura: What was that?

 

Lenny: One of those throwing knife thingys!

 

Damon: Hello? Kunais?

 

Suddenly the attacker jumped out of the tree and landed about 10 yards in front of the group. It was a female dressed up in stealthy garb, most likely a ninja.

 

Damon: What is this?

 

????: I challenge you to a duel, Damon Ripley.

 

Mizura: What's this about?

 

Lenny: Yeah, you could've castrated someone with that, you know!

 

????: I challenge Damon Ripley to a duel.

 

Damon: For what reason?

 

????: I have my reasons. You'll find out in a duel.

 

Lenny: I object!

 

Lenny got back up and stood firmly.

 

????: What?

 

Lenny: You heard me! Damon's been through enough for today! I'm your opponent!

 

Damon: Lenny, it's okay.

 

Lenny: Now it isn't, you had a great duel against that jerk Hugo! You don't need any more obstacles! And plus, I need to catch up to you and Mizura.

 

Damon: (sigh) All right.

 

Lenny: Great! Thanks buddy!

 

????: I want to duel Ripley and Ripley alone! I don't need anybody distracting me!

 

Lenny: I'm not a distraction! I'm a duelist, just as good a duelist as anyone here! And I'm about to prove it!

 

Damon(IM): I don't remember Lenny acting like this before. He must really want to prove himself.

 

????: Fine, but when I beat you, Damon is next.

 

Lenny: Whatever. But first, identify yourself.

 

????: My name is Yuri. And that's all you'll need to know at this point!

 

Lenny: Okay, Yuri!

 

Lenny & Yuri: Let's duel!!!

 

Lenny: 4000 LP

Lenny: Even though you're a lady, I'll go first! [draws a card]

 

Lenny(IM): Oh no! My hand is NOT a good start! I might as well start defensively.

 

Lenny: I summon Fox Fire, in Defense Mode!

 

Fox Fire: 200 DEF

 

Lenny: And that's it.

 

Yuri: I expected more of an opening move. [draws a card] I place a monster in Defense Mode face-down. And then I place two cards face-down. That will end my turn.

 

Lenny: More of an opening move? The same could be said about you. [draws a card] Finally!

 

Yuri: Hm?

 

Lenny: I activate Pot of Greed, which will allow me to draw 2 cards! [draws 2 cards] I then summon UFO Turtle in Attack Mode!

 

UFO Turtle: 1400 ATK

 

Lenny: Now my turtle, attack that monster!

 

Yuri: I play my Threatening Roar Trap Card! This card will unleash a startling roar that will make all of your monsters too scared to attack this turn!

 

Lenny: Fine. I place one card face-down and end my turn.

 

Yuri: My turn! [draws a card] I summon Goe Goe the Gallant Ninja!

 

Goe Goe the Gallant Ninja: 1500 ATK

 

Yuri: I also Flip Summon my White Ninja!

 

White Ninja: 1500 ATK

 

Yuri: When flipped, my White Ninja's special ability destroys one monster on the field in Defense Mode!

 

Lenny: Not good.

 

Yuri: Say sayonara to your Fox Fire.

 

Lenny: Crap! [Fox Fire is destroyed]

 

Yuri: And it still hasn't attacked yet. White Ninja, attack his UFO Turtle!

 

White Ninja: 1500 ATK

UFO Turtle: 1400 ATK

[uFO Turtle is destroyed in battle]

 

Lenny: (-100) 3900 LP

 

Lenny: Thanks, you activated my UFO Turtle's special ability! When destroyed in battle, I can summon any Fire monster I want from my deck as long as it has 1500 or less ATK points! I'll just summon another UFO Turtle.

 

UFO Turtle: 1400 ATK

 

Yuri: I'll just attack that monster with Goe Goe! Go, destroy that turtle!

 

Goe Goe the Gallant Ninja: 1500 ATK

[uFO Turtle is destroyed battle]

 

Lenny: (-100) 3800 LP

 

Lenny(IM): Good, now that both of her monsters attacked, I can unleash my true strategy!

 

Lenny: You destroyed another one of my UFO Turtles, which means I get the special ability again!

 

Yuri: Yes, but before that, Goe Goe's special ability kicks in first! When doing damage to your Life Points and if you have 5 or more cards in your hand, 2 cards are randomly discarded from your hand!

 

Lenny: What?! [Goe Goe throws Kunais at the 2 random cards] Not those two cards!

 

Lenny(IM): Those cards were among the best in my deck: Raging Flame Sprite and Tremendous Fire! At least I still have Solar Flare Dragon, and UFO Turtle's special ability.

 

Lenny: Fine, you've had your fun! But now UFO Turtle's ability activates, allowing me to summon another Fire monster to the field! I choose Solar Flare Dragon!

 

Solar Flare Dragon: 1500 ATK

 

Yuri: You helped trigger my Trap!

 

Lenny: Oh boy.

 

Yuri: I activate Bottomless Trap Hole!

 

Lenny: No!

 

Yuri: My trap activates when a monster with 1500 ATK points or more has been summoned. I destroy that monster and remove it from play!

 

Lenny: Crap! [solar Flare Dragon is destroyed and removed from play!]

 

Yuri: At this rate, you can't win!

 

Yuri: 4000 LP

Lenny: 3800 LP

 

Lenny(IM): Maybe she's right. I've already suffered casualties to my monsters as well as my Life Points. It may not be that much damage, but one can see where this might go. I might lose to this person just as easily as I did to Akiro. Can I win?

 

It seems that Lenny is against the ropes. Can he get out of this and obtain victory? Or will this be Lenny's second defeat? Find out in the next episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! REVELATION!

Mizura: Lenny's not having that much fun.

 

Damon: Yeah, this ninja woman knows exactly what she's doing.

 

Lenny: Crud. Just a couple turns into the duel and she's already turned me into a sitting duck.

 

Yuri: I play one card face-down and I end my turn!

 

Lenny: Okay!

 

Lenny(IM): Come on, deck. Give me something good. [draws a card] Alright! This card will help me!

 

Lenny: I play the Spell Card known as Terraforming! This card will allow me to transfer a Field Spell Card from my deck to my hand! And the card that I chose was Molten Destruction!

 

Yuri: Huh?! The scenery is changing!

 

Lenny: That's what happens when a Field Spell Card is played! Now, what this card does is that it strengthens the ATK of all Fire monsters by 500 points! In that case, I summon a Solar Flare Dragon that I had in my hand! Remember, he gets supped by my Field Spell!

 

Solar Flare Dragon: (+500) 2000 ATK

 

Yuri: It's stronger than the both of my ninja!

 

Lenny: Got that right! Solar Flare Dragon, attack Goe Goe the Gallant Ninja with Solar Flare Lash!

Lenny: Okay then. I place 1 card face-down and end my turn! And since it's the end of my turn, Solar Flare Dragon's ability kicks in! He burns away 500 of your Life Points!

Lenny(IM): This is gonna be tough, her Gallant Ninja can't be destroyed in battle because of her Trap Card, Ninjitsu Art of Decoy. Not to mention she has 2 cards face-down. But the way I figure, the faster I make her reveal her Trap Cards, the faster I can think of a way to beat her.

 

Lenny: Solar Flare Dragon, attack her White Ninja with Solar Flare Lash!

 

Solar Flare Dragon: 2000 ATK

White Ninja: 800 DEF

[White Ninja is destroyed in battle]

 

Lenny: One down, one to go! Darkfire Soldier, attack her Nin-Ken Dog with Double Burning Blade Attack!

 

Yuri: That's as far as you're going to go!

 

Lenny: Uh oh!

 

Yuri: I activate my Trap Card, Kunai with Chain! And I equip it to my Nin-Ken Dog! And when activated it changes your Darkfire Soldier to Defense Mode!

Lenny(IM): Damn, her Trap Card made my soldier switch to Defense Mode. And secondly, my Field Spell weakens DEF power of all Fire monsters by 400, which makes my soldier the more vulnerable.

Yuri: Good! [draws a card] I now switch both of my ninja to Attack Mode!

Yuri: I also summon Strike Ninja!

Damon: Uh oh. Lenny's lost his edge.

Mizura: You okay, Lenny?!

 

Damon(IM): Despite taking a direct attack, that was a good move on Lenny's part. Losing Solar Flare Dragon would've put him in a real tough spot.

 

Yuri: Now I end my turn!

 

Lenny: Finally. My Solar Flare Dragon returns to the field!

 

Solar Flare Dragon: 2000 ATK

 

Lenny: And second of all, 500 more points are burned off of your total!

 

Yuri: Rrrgh… (-500) 2500 LP

 

Mizura: Thanks to Lenny's Solar Flare Dragon, they're just about even.

 

Damon(IM): I hope you're right, Mizura.

 

Yuri: 2500 LP

Lenny: 2100 LP

 

Yuri: Looks like I have the advantage now.

 

Lenny: Maybe, but it's my turn now. [draws a card] Time for me to regain control!

 

Yuri: What?!

 

Lenny: I play Premature Burial, I can bring back any monster I wish from my Graveyard! The only price I have to pay is 800 Life Points.

Lenny: Oh well, you just rendered your decoy Trap Card useless.

 

Yuri: I didn't need anymore anyway.

 

Lenny: So it worked out then. I now end my turn, and you know what happens next right? My dragon fries off 500 of your points!

Yuri: That's it! My move! [draws a card] This'll teach you!

 

Lenny: What'll teach me?

 

Yuri: This, Swords of Concealing Light!

Yuri: Thank you.

Damon: Not to long ago, Lenny lost to a duelist with a Werewolf Deck. His name was Akiro Maiku. He's a Regional Champion that hails from Japan.

 

Yuri: Really? No wonder I lost to him.

 

Mizura: So you're saying this is your second loss?

 

Yuri: Very much so.

 

Lenny: You don't seem to taking it that hard.

 

Yuri: To be honest, I didn't enter the tournament to win.

 

Lenny: Huh?

 

Yuri: I came for another reason.

 

Damon: What would that be?

 

Yuri: I need you to keep this a secret.

 

Damon: We will.

Damon: Let me guess; corrupt tycoon? Terrorist? Evil Magical Force?

 

Yuri: I don't know what we're dealing with. But I DO know one thing. They seem to be interested in you, Damon.

Lenny: They? Who are they?

 

Yuri: Their true identities are unknown, but they call themselves "Dark Hunters".

 

Mizura: Dark Hunters? What are they? Are they all here on this island?

 

Yuri: From what I can gather, only one seems to be on this island, disguised as a participant in this tournament.

 

Lenny: Man! This is huge!

 

Damon: Why would these "Dark Hunters" be interested in me?

 

Yuri: Not just you, a few others. But you seem to be one of their prime interests, or concerns.

 

Damon: But why?

 

Yuri: It was ever since the tournament began. You came out of every duel victorious. You haven't lost a single duel yet. And just today, you took down an infamous duelist with enormous skill.

 

Lenny: I think she's talking about Hugo.

 

Yuri: Beating Hugo Locke put you directly on their radar.

 

Damon: Wait, how did you know that I beat Hugo? Have you been following us?

 

Yuri: Yes, but only for a short while. And Hugo also seems to be a duelist they're interested in.

 

Damon: Do you think they're gonna attack?

 

Yuri: I think they want to save their big scheme for the finals.

 

Lenny: I get it. They wanna wait until they reach Pegasus's castle.

 

Mizura: But wait. Didn't she say there was only one Dark Hunter on this island?

 

Yuri: I did, but only one that I know of.

 

Damon: What's their plan?

 

Yuri: Generally, world domination. Specifically, that's where my knowledge of all this ends.

 

Damon: Oh well, if they're keeping such a low profile, I doubt they'll attack anytime soon.

 

Yuri: I hope you're right. Well, I've got to get going.

 

Lenny: Where?

 

Yuri: The rest of my clan will be worried about me unless I get back.

 

Lenny: The rest of your clan is on this island? Whoa.

 

Yuri: There's not as many of us as you'd think. I have to go now.

 

Damon: Wait, at least show us who you really are. Show us your face. We won't tell anyone, we swear.

 

Yuri: Um…okay.

 

Yuri took off the sash that was covering her face. And under it was an attractive young woman with emerald green eyes, dusty red hair, and perky little nose.

 

Lenny: Whoa! She's beautiful!

 

Damon: Attractive indeed.

 

Mizura: *sigh* Men.

 

Yuri: I take my leave. Please be wary from now on. These Dark Hunters can be very dangerous, and their dueling skills are far above that of a normal person.

 

Lenny: *gulp* I was afraid of that.

 

Yuri: Lenny, with your skill, I think you can take on anything that comes your way.

 

Lenny: Really?

 

Yuri: Yes, good luck to you, to all of you. It's so refreshing to hear that I got friends outside of my clan. You take care.

 

Damon: Same to you, Yuri.

 

Lenny: Don't be a stranger; feel free to drop in anytime.

She jumped up high in the air as the wind picked up and then disappeared in a wind funnel of leaves.

 

Lenny: Wow. I need to know how she does that.

 

Mizura: Me too.

 

Damon: Come on, guys. Now this tournament is more important than ever. We need to win or at least be in the finals to make sure the world is safe.

 

Lenny: Whoa. Since when did YOU become the big hero?

 

Damon: Ever since now. Don't get me wrong, the world can be dark, dank, horrible place to live. But I still consider it home. And I may be nothing like the King of Games, Yugi Moto, but I will try my best to stop the world from being taken over, especially by people who are evil.

 

Lenny: Those are only type of people who WANT to take it over.

 

Damon: Damn it, Lenny. I was in the mood and you wrecked it.

 

Lenny: Sorry, please continue.

 

Damon: Na, I'm out of it now. But still, I'll stop these guys with whatever it takes. But don't take me for the hero stereotype, I do things MY way.

 

Lenny: That's the spirit! I'm in!

 

Mizura: Count me in!

 

Damon: Are you guys sure?

 

Lenny: Damon, if we weren't sure, we wouldn't be signing up, would we?

 

Mizura: Yeah, let's do this!

 

Damon: Then it's settled. When the Dark Hunters show themselves, we fight them!

Damon: Now let's take a nap; it's been quite a day.

Lenny: Yeah, I'm so wrecked.

 

Our heroes then settled down and started taking a nap. Will these so called Dark Hunters show themselves? And if they do, will Damon, Lenny or Mizura be prepared? More action is on the way on the next episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! REVELATION!

Lenny: I only ordered bread. Why should we split the bill evenly? It's pathetic.

Damon: Mm, what is it?

 

Mizura: It's been 3 hours. It's time to get up.

He then pulled the sleeping bag over her head. Then some water splashed all over him.

Damon: You're welcome. Now what are you going to do about that—

 

Mizura: Damon? What's up?

 

Lenny: What's eating you, dude?

 

Damon: Moss…he's gone!

When Lenny and Mizura were looking in the same direction that Damon was, they would see that Moss has indeed vanished.

 

Lenny & Mizura: Ah! He IS gone!

 

Lenny: Where'd he go?!

 

Damon: I'm not sure, he didn't just run off. We would've noticed the sounds in the background!

 

Lenny: So you mean that he literally vanished?!

 

Mizura: Are you sure we're not just jumping the gun here?!

 

Damon: We better try and find him to get some answers.

 

Lenny: Damon…Do you think that those Dark Hunters are behind this?

 

Damon: I don't know, Lenny. I hope not. But we better find Moss or we'll just drive ourselves nuts.

 

Lenny: Right.

 

Mizura: Okay.

 

Damon: We're all agreed then. Let's go and find Moss.

Chapter 19: The First Sign of Evil

When we left our heroes, they were running off searching for Moss. Moss was a person who was defeated by Mizura in a duel after overcoming her fears. After Mizura's victory, Moss simply vanished out of thin air. Damon, Lenny & Mizura have been searching for Moss for about an hour now, with no success.

 

Lenny: Where is this guy?

 

Damon: What part of "searching" don't you get?

 

Lenny: Well in the movies I saw, the good guys find the victim right away at the mercy of some evil doer.

 

Damon: Lenny, two facts. A) This isn't the movies, it's real life. B) Moss isn't necessarily the victim. He might be just some sort of Houdini, pulling the disappearing act and all.

 

Lenny: We'll never know unless we find him right?

 

Damon: Yeah?

 

Lenny: So let's keep searching.

 

Damon: Fine.

 

?????: AAAAHHHH!!!

 

Damon: Trouble!

 

Lenny: Man, how many episodes are going to involve us aiding screaming people in distress.

 

Damon: Quit breaking the fourth wall and come on!

 

Lenny: All right.

 

Mizura: Wait up!

 

When they pinpointed the source of the screaming, they arrived at the location of a duel that just expired. Hugo was the victor.

 

Damon: It's just Hugo.

 

Lenny: Well that sucks.

 

Hugo: What are you idiots doing here?

 

Lenny: We can ask you the same question, gear-head!

 

Hugo: I'm dueling, crap-for-brains! That's what this tournament is all about!

 

Lenny: Eeeaagh…no need to get dramatic about it.

 

Damon: Hugo, perhaps you could help us.

 

Hugo: Why would I want to help YOU?

 

Damon: It's not a favor, just info.

 

Hugo: Info regarding what?

 

Damon: Have you seen a man…

 

Damon gave Moss' description to Hugo.

 

Hugo: Hmph. I think I saw a man with that description not too long ago.

 

Mizura: Huh?!

 

Lenny: How long ago?!

 

Hugo: I don't know! About 15, maybe 20 minutes ago; what does it matter to you?

 

Damon: Was he walking or running?

 

Hugo: Try dragging.

 

Damon: What?!

 

Hugo: You heard me. He was being dragged away by some dark, short, shadowy figure.

 

Mizura: Oh no!

 

Lenny: Damon, you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?

 

Damon: Dark Hunters.

 

Hugo: Dark Hunters? What the hell are they?

 

Damon: No time to explain. Which way did that guy go?

 

Hugo: They went west, that way. [points finger westward]

 

Lenny: Then there still might be time!

 

Hugo: Hold on, who are these Dark Hunters?

 

Damon: They're dangerous men, extraordinary duelists; that's all you need to know.

 

Hugo: Hmph…fine then. Just hope we don't run into one another again until the castle! Because the next time we meet, we duel!

 

Damon: Fine. Let's go guys.

 

Damon and the others soon ran off to find Moss.

 

Hugo(IM): You're lucky I didn't challenge you this time, fool! You WILL pay for the damage you caused me!

 

Meanwhile, Damon, Lenny & Mizura were hot on Moss' trail.

 

Damon: Come on, pick it up!

 

Mizura: I am!

 

Lenny: I think I lost 10 pounds already!

 

When they faced forward, they were approaching a cave.

 

Lenny: Do you think there's someone in that cave?

 

Damon: Most likely. Come on.

 

Mizura: Errr...I hate caves.

 

They entered the cave to see that lanterns have been lit down the entire tunnel. Someone has most likely been hiding out here.

 

Mizura: Guys, I'm scared.

 

Lenny: Yeah, me too.

 

Damon: We gotta search to see if he's in here.

 

They then searched the cave for a couple minutes.

 

Lenny: Baked beans? Yuck…

 

Mizura: Garbonzo paste? Ew…

 

Lenny: Guys?

 

Damon: What is it?

 

Lenny: I think I found Moss.

 

Damon: What?!

 

Mizura: Huh?

 

Lenny and the others found Moss slashed, beaten up with bite marks on the side of his neck.

 

Damon: He got bitten on the neck.

 

Lenny: Man…how cannibalistic.

 

Mizura: *retch* I don't feel too good. *muffled retch*

 

Mizura then ran outside the cave.

 

Damon: Guess she couldn't stomach it.

 

Lenny: Who could?! I'll go see if she's alright.

 

When Mizura got outside the cave, she was able to get herself together. Then suddenly, someone grabbed her. The assailant grabbed Mizura and jumped into a tree.

 

Mizura: Help!

 

Lenny: Huh? Mizura!

 

Mizura: Let me go! Help!

 

?????: You are under my power, you cannot escape. Sleep…sleeeeep…sleeeeeeeeeep…

 

The assailant hypnotized Mizura, rendering her unconscious.

 

Lenny: Mizura!

 

Damon: What's going on?!

 

Lenny: I think we found Moss' attacker!

 

?????: I've had my eyes on you for quite some time now, Damon Ripley.

 

Damon: If it's me you want, let the girl go!

 

?????: I'm afraid that you wouldn't have accepted my challenge without a hostage.

 

Damon: Well now you got me here! Let her go now!

 

?????: I don't take orders, mortal!

 

Lenny: Damon?!

 

Damon: I know, Lenny, I know. We met the Dark Hunter.

 

?????: So you've heard of us.

 

Damon: Yes, someone pointed us in your direction, so to speak.

 

?????: I bet it was the Kotami clan. Those idiotic kunoichis always did have it in for us.

 

Damon: Just who the hell are you?!

 

?????: I am Dark Hunter Christopher Libby, but people call me Libby for short.

 

Damon: Well Libby, I'll be happy to clean your clock once you let her go!

 

Libby: I'm afraid I can't do that.

 

Damon: Errrr…

 

Lenny: You're outnumbered you short, pale bozo!!!

 

Libby: You make one move and I turn her!

 

Lenny: Turn her? Into what?

 

Libby: Into a vampire just like me!

 

Lenny: Vampire? I think you've gone batty, no pun intended.

 

Libby: I am!

 

Lenny: Oh yeah? What the heck would you be doing out in the daylight?!

 

Libby: The part where vampires burn in the sunlight is just a folk's tale, a silly myth. Vampires can exist in daylight every bit as good as humans can, they just prefer the darkness. Damon, I'll make you a deal. You beat me in a duel, I let the girl go. But if I win, I turn her into my bride!

 

Damon: You bastard!

 

Libby: Accept the terms or I turn her anyway!

 

Lenny: Damon…

 

Damon: Mmm…Fine, I accept your challenge! You'll regret ever provoking me!

 

Libby: Likewise I'm sure.

 

Libby put Mizura down behind him and activated his customized duel disk.

 

Damon & Libby: Let's duel!

 

Damon: 4000 LP

Libby: 4000 LP

 

Damon: I'll go first you freak of nature! [draws a card]

 

Damon(IM): Oh man, not a good start at all!

 

Damon: I summon Royal Knight in Defense Mode!

Damon: And that's all.

 

Lenny: Man, that's not a good start at all for Damon. Not a good start for Mizura either.

 

Libby: My turn. [draws a card] I summon Vampire Lady in Attack Mode!

Libby: Now I play a card known as Hypnosis Necrosis. I can only activate this Spell if Vampire Lady or Vampire Lord is on the field. What this card does is that it allows me to switch the position of a monster on your side of the field. Now my Vampire Lady will force your knight into Attack Mode.

 

Royal Knight: 1300 ATK

 

Damon: Oh no! I'll lose Life Points!

 

Libby: Correct! Vampire Lady, attack his knight!

Libby: Now my bone towers, do your stuff!

 

Damon: Huh? What's going on? [the top 4 cards of Damon's deck were sent to the Graveyard] What?! No way!

 

Libby: See? Now I remove your Twin-Headed Behemoth from the game with Book of Life's after effect.

Libby: Every time a Zombie-Type monster is Special Summoned, my bone towers will each discard 2 cards from your deck to the Graveyard. And also, neither of them can be targeted by an attack. That is unless you find a way to destroy one of them.

Libby: That's not even the worst of your problems! I now remove my Vampire Lord from play to summon the vampire that started it all! Rise, Vampire Genesis!

Libby: Errgh…[draws a card] I summon Vampire Orchis!

Damon: I play the Spell Card known as Pot of Avarice!

Damon: Let me fill you in! What this card does is that it allows me to shuffle any 5 Monster Cards in my Graveyard back into my deck!

 

Libby: What?!

 

Damon: These are the 5 monsters I pick! My 3 Troop Dragons, Des Feral Imp, and of course, my Tyrant Dragon!

 

Libby: So what if you shuffle? That doesn't save you.

 

Damon: After I shuffle, I draw 2 cards! [draws 2 cards]

 

Libby: Ah!

 

Damon: I place a monster and card face-down and end my turn.

 

Libby: I pass again! Your Swords are gone!

 

Damon: Yes,…[draws a card] but I have everything I need now! I flip up Des Feral Imp!

Libby: You got him already?!

 

Damon: Yes, it was one of the 2 cards I drew from Pot of Avarice. Now, what my monster does is that I pick any one card in the Graveyard and shuffle it into my deck. I choose one of the cards you destroyed with your bone towers. I choose The Transmigration Prophecy, a Trap Card! Now I use Premature Burial to bring back Archfiend Soldier!

Libby: Fortunately for you, I consider ties as losses. So…you can have the girl back.

 

Libby then threw Mizura at Lenny.

 

Lenny: Ah, holy crap!

 

Lenny fell back catching the weight of Mizura's body.

 

Libby: But keep in mind, you haven't seen the last of me. However, odds are that you will run into someone else before seeing me again.

 

Damon: What? There's more than one of you on this island?!

 

Libby: You will see…you will see.

 

Libby said this as he faded into the darkness. The fight with the Dark Hunters has only begun.

 

Lenny: Mizura? Mizura, wake up.

 

Mizura's eyes began to open.

 

Mizura: Unh…Uh, Lenny?

 

Lenny: Good to see your still with us.

 

Mizura: What happened?

 

Lenny: Well, Damon saved you.

 

Mizura began to blush.

 

Mizura: He…did?

 

Damon: I TRIED to anyway.

 

Mizura: What do you mean "tried"?

 

Lenny: Well…Damon fought this vampiric looking dude. That guy was winning at first, but Damon staged a major comeback!

 

Mizura: So? What happened?

 

Lenny: Well…when Damon had that freak backed up in a corner, Libby activated a Trap Card which brought both of their Life Point amounts down to zero at the same time.

 

Mizura: So it was a draw?

 

Damon(depressingly): Yes.

 

Mizura: So? He let me go did he? You drove him away right?

 

Damon: Well…

 

Mizura: You were able to save me. And I count that as a victory.

 

Damon: Hm. Thank you, Mizura.

 

Mizura: What are friends for?

 

Mizura got up in a jittery mood and frolicked ahead down the road. Meanwhile Lenny was conversing with Damon with an inside voice.

 

Lenny: Dude, you are so gonna get laid!

 

Damon: Shut up, Lenny.

 

Lenny: Dude, it's obvious she likes you.

 

Damon: Why don't we worry about that after this new threat has been averted?

 

Lenny: Okay, okay.

 

Then they spoke with normal voices.

 

Lenny: So…are there rough times ahead?

 

Damon: Why do you ask the questions to which you obviously know the answers? Of course there's gonna be rough times ahead. That Dark Hunter was dangerous. In our duel, he pushed me to my limits. That guy was indeed just as talented as Yuri said he was.

 

Lenny: Yes, but did he say that we were gonna run into someone else before we see him again?

 

Damon: We have to be on guard.

 

Lenny: Yeah. Let's get out of here. This place gives me the creeps.

 

Damon: Good idea.

 

Moss: Um…help…me?

 

Damon: Oh…sorry, guy. Almost forgot. Lenny, give me a hand.

 

Lenny: All right.

 

Damon and Lenny then carried Moss as they walked down the path after Mizura.

 

Lenny: Hey, Mizura! Wait up!

 

Damon: Yeah, we need to stick together and get this guy to a hospital!

 

Mizura: Okay!
