To be honest, I didn't think that Winston would become so popular. I wrote him as a comic relief, kind of a "toss aside" adversary. Lenny may be kind of a laidback goofball himself, but at least he can get serious when the situation looks rough. We'll have to see.

Here's Chapter 3, I hope you like it.

 

Chapter 3: Solid as a Rock (part I)

Damon and Lenny continued through the jungle when suddenly, Lenny trips over a rock. "Ow, stupid rock…!"

 

"Hey, don't insult the rock. Rocks are the toughest, sturdiest pieces of earth on the planet!" A big, bulky, dark skinned person stepped out of hiding. "It was your dumb fault that you tripped over that innocent rock."

 

"Have you been dropped on your head as a baby?!" Lenny barked.

 

"As a matter of fact, I have; so what?" The big stranger replied.

 

"Urgh…This is going nowhere. Who are you anyway?" Lenny barked some more.

 

"I am Aggro, the Rock Duelist!"

 

"What is it with these people and single themed decks?" Damon thought to himself.

 

"My Fire Deck will cremate your Rock Deck!"

 

"Dream on!"

 

"Let's Duel!" They said in unison.

 

Aggro: 4000 LP (5 cards)

Lenny: 4000 LP (5 cards)

 

Aggro: I'll begin. [draws a card] I summon Muka Muka in Attack Mode. (2100/1800) That will end my turn.

Lenny: My move! [draws a card] He didn't put any Spells or Traps to protect his monster. That makes that monster vulnerable, but on the other hand, I don't have a card in my hand that can compete with that monster. I might as well do this. I summon UFO Turtle in Defense Mode! (1400/1200) And I'll throw two cards face-down. That'll end my turn.

Aggro: Okay, you asked for it. [draws a card] I sacrifice my Muka Muka to summon Enraged Muka Muka! (3200/2600)

Lenny: How can a 1-tribute monster be that powerful?!

Aggro: Enraged Muka Muka's special ability increases its ATK and DEF by 400 for each card in my hand. My regular Muka Muka had the same effect only it was 300 instead of 4. And now I'll equip my monster with this, Fairy Meteor Crush! This will allow my monster to inflict battle damage upon even though your monsters are in Defense mode. Of course now that there is 1 less card in my hand, Enraged Muka Muka goes down 400 points.

 

Enraged Muka Muka: (-400 ATK and DEF) 2800/2200.

 

Aggro: Now my beast, attack UFO Turtle! (Enraged ATK: 2800/UFO DEF: 1200) [uFO Turtle is destroyed in battle] And because of Fairy Meteor Crush, the difference still comes out of your Life Points.

Lenny: Damn.

 

Lenny: (-1600) 2400 LP

 

Lenny: But you activated my trap, Backfire. Whenever a Fire monster on my side of the field is destroyed, you take 500 points of damage.

Aggro: Urgh…

 

Aggro: (-500) 3500 LP

 

Lenny: And since you destroyed my turtle in battle, I can search for a Fire monster with an ATK of 1500 or less and summon it straight to the field in Attack Position. I summon Solar Flare Dragon! (1500/1000)

Aggro: Hmph! I'll set one card face-down and end my turn.

 

Enraged Muka Muka: (-400 ATK and DEF) 2400/1800

 

Lenny: Alright…! [draws a card] I summon another Solar Flare Dragon in Attack Mode and end my turn! Now the fun begins!

Aggro: Huh?

Lenny: During the each of my End Phase, my Solar Flare Dragons will do 500 points of damage each!

Aggro: Urgh!

 

Aggro: (-1000) 2500 LP

 

Lenny: Our Life Points are just about even.

Aggro: You'll pay for that! [draws a card] And now that I have another card in my hand my monster's ATK and DEF go up by 400.

 

Enraged Muka Muka: (+400 ATK and DEF) 2800/2200

 

Aggro: And now, Enraged Muka Muka, ATTACK! [a fire-like barrier prevented the attack from working] What's going on here?

Lenny: Hehehehe…Solar Flare Dragon can't be attacked if there's another face-up Pyro-Type monster on my side of the field. And since they're both Pyros, You can't touch either of them!

Aggro: Then I summon Mine Golem in Defensive Mode. (1000/1900) I shall also place one card face-down. And since I subtracted 2 cards from my hand, Enraged Muka Muka's ATK and DEF go down by 800.

 

Enraged Muka Muka: (-800 ATK and DEF) (2000/1400)

 

Aggro: I shall end my turn.

Lenny: Okay, my turn. [draws a card] This just isn't your day, I summon my third Solar Flare Dragon in Attack Mode!

Aggro: Activate Trap!

Lenny: Oh no!

Aggro: Needle Ceiling! When there are 4 or more monsters on the field, I can activate this trap. I can destroy all face-up monsters on the field! So say good-bye to your Solar Flare Dragons while I say good-bye to my monsters as well. [Needle Ceiling crushed all the monsters on the field]

Lenny: Damn you…Oh well, since you destroyed a Fire monster on my field, Backfire burns 500 more off your total.

Aggro: Ugh!

 

Aggro: (-500) 2000 LP

 

Lenny: I shall place one card face-down and end my turn!

Aggro: You don't know who you're messing with! [draws a card and likes what he sees] I activate Diatomaceous Erosion! This spell card will allow me to add an Earth monster with a DEF of 1500 or less to my hand. I added Gigantes. And now I shall remove my Mine Golem from my graveyard to summon Gigantes in Attack Mode. (1900/1300) Since he was a Special Summon, I can summon again. I now remove Muka Muka from my graveyard to Special Summon The Rock Spirit in Attack Mode as well! (1700/1000) Now my monsters, attack him directly and end this duel.

Lenny: You think I'd let you win that easily?! I activate this first, Enchanted Javelin! This will increase my Life Points by an amount equal to your Gigantes' ATK!

 

Lenny: (+1900) 4300 LP

 

Lenny: And then I activate Gravity Bind! Monsters with levels 4 and higher won't be able to attack.

Aggro: No!

Lenny: Thanks to your attack, I'm back up to full power and then some.

Aggro: Fine then, I shall summon the Giant Soldier of Stone in Defense Mode and end my turn! (1300/2000)

Lenny: Good. [draws a card] I summon Fox Fire in Defense Mode and end my turn. (300/200)

Aggro: My turn. [draws a card] I activate Pot of Greed! It allows me to draw two cards from my deck. [draws 2 cards] I now activate The Reliable Guardian! This spell card increases the DEF of one monster on the field by 700 for the rest of the turn. I put it on my Giant Soldier of Stone.

 

Giant Soldier of Stone: (+700) 2700 DEF

 

Aggro: And now activate Mystic Wok. I select one monster on my side of the field and offer it as a tribute. I select my Giant Soldier of Stone. I then choose the tributed monster's ATK or DEF and increase my Life Points by the same amount. I choose its DEF.

 

Aggro: (+2700) 4700 LP

 

Damon: There both stronger than they were when the duel started.

Aggro: I end my turn. You're move.

Lenny: Very well. [draws a card] I summon another Fox Fire in Defense Mode and end my turn.

Aggro: You're quite an impressive adversary. I've never met someone who can match me blow for blow.

Lenny: Thanks, I try my best.

Aggro: Good, you'll need your best to top me. And as I recall, I have the lead.

 

Aggro: 4700 LP

Lenny: 4300 LP

 

Lenny: True, but since we're both above the 4000 point limit, your lead doesn't really matter that much.

Aggro: Also true, but I try to look at every positive thing I can.

Lenny: That seems to be paying off so far. Now let's continue the duel.

Aggro: Very well! [draws a card] I activate Rock Card of Soul! This allows me to draw 1 card for each face-up Rock monster I have on my side of the field. [draws 2 cards] One of the cards I drew was Graceful Charity! I draw 3 cards… [draws 3 cards] And then I discard any two cards from my hand. I now activate this…Mystical Space Typhoon!

Lenny: No!

Aggro: Yes, this card allows me to destroy 1 Spell or Trap on the field! Say good-bye to Gravity Bind! [Gravity Bind is destroyed]

Lenny: Damn.

Aggro: And with that card out of the way, my monsters are free to attack. But first I summon Grave Ohja, in Attack Mode of course. (1600/1500) Now my newly summoned monster will attack your first Fox Fire. (Ohja ATK: 1600/ Fox DEF: 200) [Fox Fire is destroyed in battle]

Lenny: Remember Backfire? It does 500 damage each time a Fire monster is destroyed on my side of the field.

 

Aggro: (-500) 4200 LP

 

Aggro: I'm aware. And now my Rock Spirit will attack your other one. (Rock ATK: 2000/ Fox: 200 DEF) [Fox Fire is destroyed in battle]

Lenny: 500 more deducted from your total.

Aggro: Err.

 

Aggro: (-500) 3700 LP

 

Aggro: Now, Gigantes! Attack his Life Points directly! [Gigantes strikes Lenny]

Lenny: Urgh!

 

Lenny: (-1900) 2400 LP

 

Aggro: Now you're weaker and defenseless. I end my turn.

Lenny: At the end of a turn my Fox Fires have been destroyed in battle, they'll come back at the end of the turn! (Both Fox Fires return in Defense Mode)

Aggro: Errrm.

Lenny: My move! [draws a card] Hehehe…Time for some payback! I summon my favorite monster, Ultimate Baseball Kid in Attack Mode! (500/1000)

Aggro: That wimp?! He's only at 500 ATK! Hahahahahahaha!

Lenny: Look again.

Aggro: Huh?

 

Ultimate Baseball Kid: (+2000) 2500 ATK

 

Aggro: How did that happen?!

Lenny: Ultimate Baseball Kid gains 1000 ATK for each Fire monster on the field other than himself.

Aggro: Oh boy.

Lenny: "Oh boy" is right. Ultimate Baseball Kid, attack Gigantes with Flaming Baseball Attack! (Baseball Kid: 2500/ Gigantes: 1900) [baseball Organ music was playing in the background as Ultimate Baseball Kid hit a fiery baseball at Gigantes and destroyed it]

 

Aggro: (-600) 3100 LP

 

[suddenly, Backfire was destroyed]

 

Lenny: What the…?!

Aggro: By destroying Gigantes in battle you activated his special ability. When destroyed in battle, Gigantes destroys all Spell and Trap Cards on the field!

Lenny: What?!

Aggro: Now I won't have to worry about losing any more Life Points to that ridiculous Trap card.

Lenny: Yeah, but this duel's far from over, Aggro. You're going down.

 

Can Lenny back that statement up? And just what is Aggro smiling about? All of this and more will be revealed in part II.
