A Bleach RP: Dark Secret of Hōgyoku

Winter charged at Uruhara with her released zanpaktou, bringing one down on him which was easily blocked before bringing the other one in from a completely different angel which Uruhara merely sidestepped, spun round and then knocked Winter backwards. She landed on her feet and slid backwards before coming to a halt just in front of a large pillar of rocks.

"Your attacks rely on surprise," Uruhara said "Which isn't a bad idea to start with but once it's been done once it'll lose its effectiveness, you need to not only take your opponents by surprise but also defeat them in that same instance. And another problem..."

Uruhara drew his sword along the ground, firing the same red energy from before at Winter, she side stepped and it crashed into the rock behind her, taking out a chunk.

"You need to do more than just dodging as well," Uruhara said "If you block an attack not only will you leave your opponent temporarily defenseless you will also still have the means to strike back."

 

He fired another wave of red energy, this time Winter swung her swords through the air in front of her, creating a wall of ice that the energy struck. The wall shattered the moment it was hit and Winter was sent flying back through the rock and crashed out on the other side, rolling along the ground before coming to a halt. Uruhara walked around the destroyed mound as Winter got to her feet.

"If you want to block effectively you're gonna need to be able to hold your ice sculptures for more than just a second," he said.

"I already told you," Winter replied "I can't hold them any longer."

"Maria could," Uruhara replied, teasing her.

Winter gritted her teeth and tightened her grip of her zanpaktou. Uruhara grinned and fired another wave of red energy towards her, Winter summoned another ice wall to protect herself but was thrown backwards once again.

"You're afraid of getting hit by my attack," Uruhara said "That's why your ice wall is so weak."

Winter got to her feet, panting heavily.

"I tell this to everyone I train," Uruhara said "It's not about being afraid of being killed, it's about being the one doing the killing."

 

"I'm not a shinigami," Winter spat "I don't kill like you do."

"You're gonna have to if you want to win," Uruhara said "Let go of your fear, you don't need it."

Winter glared at him, tightening her grip again.

"Remember, you cannot afford to fear your enemies," Uruhara said.

With that he let out another wave of red energy. Winter saw it coming and drew Furostu along the ground and up into the air, creating a thick wall of ice which the energy crashed into. The sculpture shattered but Winter was completely unharmed.

"That's the spirit," Uruhara muttered.

Kageshiba was still underneath the waterfall in the meditative state eyes closed; now he had been there for several days without taking a break, and this feat of resilience and commitment to the training had attracted a large crowd, consisting of Shinigami of all 13 Squads. Numerous echoes consisting of *How can he be under there for this long?*, *This is insane* and *His spiritual power is incredible* from the minds of numerous Shinigami in the crowd, and among the crowd, 4 Captains were there - Unohana, Byakuya, Shunsui and Soifon.

 

Kageshiba opened his eyes and look over at the crowd that had amassed *Hmm... appears I've attracted a big crowd. But no Yamamoto... I guess I haven't done enough yet then* he thought as he closed his eyes again, grinned sinisterly and continued with his training...

Jinta and Ururu crouched down on a high ledge overlooking a large cloud of smoke that had accumulated beneath them.

"They've been at this for days," Ururu said, sounding slightly worried.

"They'll be fine," Jinta replied "But I can't see anything from here."

Almost as soon as he spoke two blurs shot out of the cloud and began bouncing off the rocks and each other.

"I think we'd better move," Ururu said, getting to her feet.

"Don't be such a wet blanket," Jinta said "We're perfectly fine up..."

He was cut off as the ledge shattered just next to him and a blood stained Winter landed a few feet away, followed by an apparently unharmed Uruhara. Jinta immediately retreated, yelling at Ururu.

 

"You're improving," Uruhara admitted "But you're still not quite ready to face the Espada."

Winter didn't reply.

"I think that's enough senseless fighting," Uruhara said "Let's try getting control of that hollow of yours."

Winter hesitated then looked away.

"Something wrong?" Uruhara asked.

"I don't want to use that," Winter replied.

Uruhara raised an eyebrow and rested Benihime on his shoulder.

"Not afraid of it, are you?" He asked "I thought we got over that little obstacle."

"It's not that," Winter replied "It's just, Maria became a shinigami after her sister was killed by a hollow so...I don't want to use the same kind of power that brought her so much pain."

Uruhara grinned broadly.

"You misunderstand," he said.

"Huh?"

"Maria didn't become a shinigami out of spite," he continued "She merely wanted to fill in her sister's place."

"But..."

"No buts," Uruhara said "Come on, we can't train you to use your bankai until you master your hollow."

 

Winter hesitated again and stuck one of her zanpaktou in the ground before raising her now free hand to her face. Blue lights floated around it and formed into the plain white mask she'd summoned before. She remained still for a few moments before she finally put the mask on and retook up her sword, staring at Uruhara with a pair of yellow eyes.

"Fine," she said.

Uruhara grinned and the two charged at each other again, creating a shockwave which almost demolished the rest of the ledge. The smoke cleared and both were still standing, however Winter's mask was beginning to crumble already.

"This is gonna take some time," Uruhara commented.

The two broke apart and Winter's mask crumbled off her face.

"2 seconds?" Uruhara muttered "This is gonna take some time. Again."

Winter glared at him and re-summoned her mask, charging at Uruhara once more.

After several days the pressure of the waterfall began to get to Kageshiba. *I can't go for much longer* he thought as his body began to wane under the force down on his body. *Come on Yamamoto... your just being spiteful. I can't have to go for longer* he continued as he was affected even further under the overwhelming force of the waterfall. Now the crowd has grown again and included in the group was now Yoruichi Shihouin. *Yoruichi...* he thought as he stared into the crowd and the water of the waterfall began to flow over his eyes. Suddenly General Yamamoto appeared in front of the waterfall "Kageshiba! Your done" he shouted forcefully, working hard as he spoke to overcome the sound of the waterfall. After he said that Kageshiba quickly Flash Stepped out from under the waterfall, before he collapse from exhaustion and pain.

 

General Yamamoto stared down at him with calm, stalwart eyes "Captain Unohana, take care of him" Yamamoto ordered as he began to walk away. However before anyone else could move Yoruichi Flash Stepped over to him and picked his arm up so his arm was over her shoulder and Flash Stepped away. Soifon almost performed Flash Step "Captain Soifon... let them go. There no need to chase the three of them" General Yamamoto said calmly as he walked by and put his hand on her shoulder. "Three?" asked Soifon confused. Yamamoto pointed over towards the crowd, and when Soifon looked over she noticed that Captain Kuchiki had also vanished.

At the Kuchiki Manor Yoruichi and Byakuya were carrying Kageshiba towards a gate to the Real World. "I've got him from here, Byakuya. Thank You for the help" Yoruichi said curtiously, and Byakuya nodded softly. Yoruichi carried Kageshiba through the gate, and Bykauya followed behind them as the gates closed...

Night soon fell in the human world and Sykes was sitting on the highest point of the town when he looked up at the moon. "Your a little far away from home aren't you, Byakuya?" Byakuya flash stepped onto the roof of the building Sykes was one. "Hmm, so you sensed me when I was still 2 miles away with my flash step. Yamamoto was telling me truthful things about you then..." Sykes looked down at the ground with an apathetic look on his face.

 

"Whats with that expression of yours?" Byakuya asked. "Don't give me any bullshit here, I have known you since you were this big." Sykes said symbolizing with his hand how high Byakuya was when he was young. "Listen to me, I wont go back with you." Byakuya looked at Sykes with a now sort of saddened yet disappointed face at the same time.

 

"I have only one question for you." Sykes this time stood up and faced Byakuya. "Why...why wont you help soul society vanquish this threat, why wont you side with your old comrade, and why won't you come back to your..." Byakuya was silent as the huge rush of power that he felt oh his neck could be felt all over the human world. Even Everyone in human world with the smallest amount of reitsu could feel this big raise of power. Surprisingly to Byakuya Sykes' zanpaktou was at his neck, the first time he has drawn it in 20,000 years.

 

"I swear if the next word out of your mouth is home, I'll kill you where you stand!" Byakuya had a surprised yet slightly fearful look because he knew that if Sykes had drawn his zanpaktou he is serious on any matter. "Understood..." Byakuya jumped back and then was about to flash step. "That door that you want closed so bad will always be open Sykes, remember that." Byakuya said as he flash stepped away....

A worn out Winter collapsed onto her knees, panting heavily as her mask crumbled from her face. Uruhara frowned down at her, resting his zanpaktou over his shoulder again.

"Seven seconds," he muttered.

Winter tried to get to her feet again but collapsed once more, dropping her zanpaktou.

"Looks like you're done," Uruhara muttered "If seven seconds is the best you can do..."

"I'm.....Not....Done....." Winter panted, getting up again.

Her legs shook violently and then gave way and she collapsed onto all fours.

"You should really listen to what your teacher says more," Uruhara said, walking over to her and returning Benihime to its original state and slotting it back into his cane "Well, you should get some rest," he said "Tomorrow we'll begin on your bankai."

"I thought we were going to train my hollow powers first," Winter replied.

"You're obviously at your limit in terms of your hollow side," Uruhara said "Get some rest, we've got three days left."

"Three days," Winter stared at him "I can't master bankai in three days."

"No?" Uruhara turned to look at her "I did, and Ichigo managed it in even less time."

"Who's Ichigo?" Winter asked.

"A vizard, like yourself," Uruhara replied "Another one I trained with, now I suggest you stop talking before you burst an artery."

Yoruichi was carrying Kageshiba across the skies of Karakura Town, and suddenly they felt a strong source of power. "What the...?" Yoruichi asked herself as her eyes widened, but she was cut off by Kageshiba raising his hand to her lips. "Don't worry about me or it, Yoruichi. I know exactly was that was" he said calmly as he and Yoruichi stopped in their tracks. He pulled his arm off of her shoulder "Where I would love to stick with your beautiful self, I'm going to see the source of the energy, you go back and give Urahara my regards. Oh and tell him to lay off of Winter... she's got a lot more problems from her past that even he knows" Kageshiba said and kissed Yoruichi on the cheek before Flash Stepping away, much faster than before.

 

After a few seconds "Hello again... Sykes" he said calmly as he appeared behind Sykes with both his hands in his pockets...

Ramza took two of the slashes head on before kicking Grimmjow back a bit, soon after he used his sonido and appeared behind his target, before Grimmjow could even turn around 30 more arrows were shot out, and they were going faster then before. "It's time to take off the training wheels, let's see you keep up" Ramza yelled as he appeared back at the hole in the wall of the throne room.......

"Heh, trained enough did you." Sykes said as he walked right passed Kageshiba and jumped on to another rooftop of the town and then gestured at Kageshiba to come with him. "Come on, walk and talk I have an important thing to get to." Sykes said as he kept walking....

 

 

Ulquiorra looked at the battle. "Lord Aizen, he hides his pain to foul his opponent not a bad strategy for such a new fighter." Aizen looked at Ulquiorra apathetically. "Yes it causes the opponent to waste more power if you act smug about pain, even though you really are feeling it." Aizen said agreeing with Ulquioora. Grimmjow ready himself and deflected all but three arrows that hit him and started to burn.

 

"You son of, I'll end this now." Grimmjow gathered a huge amount of energy and fired a ray of powerful energy at Ramza. "Now you'll die you foul!" Grimmjow taunted. The wind was picking up slightly and the sun was just about to rise over Hueco Mundo........

Without saying anything, the two rings surrounding Ramza's reitsu bow formed in alignment with Grimmjow and his Gren ray cero. With as much as a smirk he shot one giant arrow towards the cero, and as they were about to collide the spirit particles around Grimmjow's cero formed around the arrow and started to shot back at him, "Checkmate"......

Grimmjow was totally caught off guard and there arrow was about to do some major damage to him because he was barely lotted time to defend. Ulquiorra looked over to Aizen and Aizen merely nodded at him. Ulquiorra appeared in front of Grimmjow and blocked the attack from Ramza with one hand and it seemed that the burning effects had no effect on Ulquiorra's level of power.

"So I'm guessing you didn't want him to die, Aizen-sama" said Ramza as he looked back, as he did his bow dispered and soon he was back in his human form. As he grabbed his masked and placed it on is face, his cross started to change. It glowed red for a second, then as the glowing stopped the cross was replaced with a demonic star. "The bow ever evolving as I continue to fight" He said as he completely turned around to face Aizen, "I would like to ask one favor, that of to train with Ulquoirra for a few days so I can develop my hollow abillities a bit more"........

"Fine enough for me. Ulquiorra you will teach him for the next three days then we leave for the search you understand." Ulquiorra looked at Aizen then at Ramza. "Understood, Aizen-sama." Ulquiorra said as he agreed and started walking out the door not waiting for ramza at all...

Kageshiba looked over the view of Karakura for a split second and grinned sinisterly, and then used Flash Step to catch up to Sykes. "OK Sykes I can understand the joys of being a very busy man, so I'll keep this very brief" he said speedily as he walked faster to get in front of Sykes. He turned around sharply and placed his hand on Sykes' chest stopping him in his tracks, with his cold, sharp and sinisterly evil eyes staring through him. "Who's side are you on; Mine............................. or Aizen's?" he asked softly, yet sharply...

Ramza caught up with Ulquiorra as they walked down the hall, "So what is the plan Ulquiorra, how are we going to do this" asked Ramza..............

"Heh, you'll just have to wait and see now wont you." Sykes said as he easily pushed Kageshiba to the side and continued to walk slow enough so they could still speak, but not to slow that they weren't at a good pace. "I can say this, Aizen's side didn't need recruits and it never did. If your side, as you call it, didn't have the people it had now you would be done in." Sykes said still walking along. "If Aizen would have gotten to winter and you first, who's side would you be on right now I wonder..." Sykes said as he stopped and waved for Kageshiba to keep walking with him....

Kageshiba sniggered as he walked to catch up with Sykes "Firstly, it's funny that you talk about how Aizen could kill me, when you would stand no better chance against him either. But that's not important, all I care about is that when the day comes that Aizen decides to sent his full force to grab the Hokyoku, and finally get to the Soul Society King, I just want to know I don't have to be looking over my shoulder for you" Kageshiba said as he and Sykes continued to walk along the rooftops.

 

*Hmm... You can't be fighting for yourself... what is your game Sykes?* he thought calmly as he continued to walk on ahead without wavering in the least. All around him while they continued to walk along rooftops, they could both sense the continuous increase and decrease of Hollow numbers in the Human World...

"Keh, Aizen wouldn't have killed you. He would've persuaded you to join him since you are both part hollow as it was, but like you said that's not important." Sykes stopped on the rooftop that was one top away from Uraharas shop. "It's up to you to decide, when you look over your shoulder on that day would you like to see an ally guarding your back, or an enemy attacking you from an unguarded point of view..." Sykes said as he flash stepped away, now unsenseable by Kageshiba....

 

Ulquiorra punched Ramza right in the gut and then kicked him in the face to send him flying. "You aren't fast enough." Ulquiorra said as he readied a cero and fired it at half strength directly at Ramza. He made a solid hit right in his chest. "Come on we have done this drill at least 24 times get better at speed and defense before we even began to evolve your cero..."

Sykes vanished without a trace away from Kageshiba, leaving him standing staring at the powder-white moon in the sky. *I wonder what you meant when he said it's up to me to decide?* he wondered as he turned around and stabbed his thumb into his index finger, drawing blood; he bent down and drew a peculiar seal on the ground in his blood, and strangely the blood he drew on the ground with was pitch-black. He stood back up as his bleeding stopped almost instantaneously, and he held his hand out over the seal. The seal on the ground began to glow purple, opened in the middle and spiralled, forming a sort of pitch-black vortex.

 

Out of the vortex and out of it rose a long, wakizashi sized Zanpaktou. "There you are my precious" he said softly as he grinned and gripped the Zanpaktou by the sheath as the vortex closed and the seal vanished from the ground. Suddenly the smile was wiped on his face when a power unlike any he had sensed before just came crashing down out of nowhere. He quickly ran forward while drawing on his Hollow Mask, which looked oddly like a black dragon's head; then he put his mask on and performed Sonido towards the source of the massive energy. *What the hell could be releasing this kind of power? And why now of all times?* he pondered as he blazed across the skies at blistering speed (almost as fast as Yoruichi could Flash Step at full speed in her prime)...

Triaro woke up,"what happened last night! why do i have 5 more Zanpaktou than usual."his hollow responded in saying,"You don't remember! there was something inside of you that even sacred me. you took my power of my Cero and blasted it in to the Soul Society. it killed 5 guards then you sent in 2 Hollows to grab the Zanpaktou."Triaro was shocked,"all i remember is you taking control of me. you know i couldn't stop you from doing that."Triaro's gigai was right beside him,"i left this on the roof top." He got in the gigai and went on his way.

After 80 runs of the drill, the two sped up, each time Ramza got the timing right Ulquoirra increased the speed of the attacks. Around the 97th time, Ramza caught Ulquoirra's punch then threw him up in the air, soon after a blue arrow (one that harms shinigami's and human's more) was shot towards Ulquoirra as soon as he left the ground, "Fast enough yet, Ulquoirra-san?" asked Ramza as he made the arrow disappear...........

The energy was getting greater and greater as Kageshiba moved quick to where it was. "Heh, cero." A huge cero, about the size of 1/8 of soul society, was launched right at Kageshiba and was about to make a huge impact with Kageshibas undefended self.......

Kageshiba saw the Cero coming towards him and grinned as the red light upon him; he quickly moved downward and stood calmly as the Cero blast began to go overhead. However before it could go too far overhead, he powered his fist with a Cero-like Aura and thrusted his hand upward, forcing the gigantic Cero Ball into the sky away from Karakura.

 

He then just stood still with arms folded and a sinister grin on his face (recognizable even under his mask) and a cold, sinister look in his eyes as he watched.............. and waited...

"Heh you mine as well power down for now child you couldn't possibly be a match for me." The man taunted as he rose his hand and blew Kageshiba back with only his Reitsu. "Heh, see you have no thrill in your eyes and you lack good hard discipline. I am known as Barragan, 3rd ranked espada to Aizens group." Barragan said as he looked at Kageshiba with his old yet powerful stare...
