  1. 1. Good?

The only reason anyones saying it is good is because you "revamped" all 151 PKMN from each game. Well these are HORIBLE. Any Ture Profesional Spriter, tut, or web site will say that REVAMPS ARE NOT JUST OLD SPRITES RECOLORED WITH FUTURE SPRITE'S COLORS! Which is exactly what you did. These aren't revamps. Heck, these aren't even Re-Dos, these are just Re-Pathatic. The shading matches, there out & in-lining match the old sprites, they still have shading dots, and whats with the colored "white eye area".

I also have a feeling that some of these were made by someone else, as some look profesional, yet some of them look like they were done by some newbie in 10 seconds, and he posted it everywhere, thinking he had done the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'll say there yours for now, but if I find out you stole them, then your going to get the worlds largest ranting speach, saying how it is illegal to steal.

Well it's hard for me to rate these. You have so many, I can't do them individually. In general, I don't think the are super horrible like Mew 101 says, yet they aren't perfect, nor near it. You also do as he said have a deviation with skill amongst them. I am going to pick and choose a few of your worser ones.

First I'll go through the R/B sheet:

Raichu is a bit weird. On the right side of the sprite, near its eyes, the border is kind of ugly. With revamping, so touch upes would be nice. Also in that location, I would have added a lighter border, instead of black. The tail is also kind of ugly border/shading wise.

Vultpix's face is scary. I want to say someting went wrong there. Also the shading everywhere on it seem reall off.

Kabuto is all wrong i think. I would have completely redone the shading on it, its coming from a really weird angle and there are areas of confliction in a few spots.

A lot of these too ould use some extra shades in some places. They seem so flat and monotoned.

On the green sheet:

Wigglytuff, oh god! Your shading on this has to be oh so horrible. It also shares a mistake I see on a lot of the other sprites too. The border you have shaded not black, but he shade is too bright. I would maybe replace those border shades with something darker.

Muk and Grimer could use some reworking.

I find some of the shade changes on Jolteon are too great.

Rapidash is very flat, the grey bordering doesn't match, the flames are using a weird style of dithering that doesn't work for this type of sprite.

On the Yellow sheet:

I see some improvement overall, but other problems persist. A lot more of the sprites I think change too drastically in shade colors. it goes from bright to real dark too fast, add another shade betweent he too.

So thats the best I can do. I'm afraid my brain is now too scrambled from seeing so many sprites. I like though how you have done a lot though, most people post one thing at a time, although I'm sure you didn't do this in a night =P.

Also I don't think badly of Mew 101 for being harsh, harshness is a gift really, wish I could have been more harsh, but I'm not a revamper and I am still kind of sucky at things like shading.

I was gonna do this... I just don't have the patience.

And Mew 101' date=' what else do you do in re-vamps?

Don't be that harsh either.

harshness is a gift. What you are suposed to do is fix the shading, and outlining, add shading, and (If needed), fix the eyes.

They are pretty good.

I tried to do some like that and kinda turned out like yours.

I suggest that you can color in some of the black bordering lines of the sprites or any black areas with the darkest color on the sprite. For example, when I did Kingler, I colored in most of the inside of its pinchers with a dark brown to make it look a bit more realistic.

Overall, 7.5/10. Nice job at attempting to color all of those old sprites. Still, shading could have been a bit better.

Thank you for the postitive criticism, sensei jappio. The reason some green sprites, like wigglytuff, look so bad is because I did green first and was not as good as I am now.

To Mew101: F*CK YOU. Sorry for flaming, but I put a lot of work into these and you shouldn't insult them or claim some are stolen just because you can't do better. I admit some of the green ones aren't as good as the others, but that's because I improved, like most people will. And if you think that I just took the the colors off the adavanced sprites and stuck them on there, think again and look up the 1st gen sprites. Shading on things like gengar was done completly by me. If I had done what you said I did, gengar and others would have NO SHADING WHATSOEVER. Don't insult me unless you can do better. I'm neg repping you.

I'm not insulting you. I'm just saying that I feel that theres a chance that you didn't do these 'cause some of them are like, well, great, yet some of them are kind of not-as-good. And there in doted areas, not bad-bad-bad meh-meh-meh good-good-good great-great-great best-best-best-best. But more like bad god meh meh best.... And if you did if you did do it the way I said, Gengar would have shading on the inside, and an outline on the outside. The best ones are the yelloew ones, though I'm upset 'cause you made the outlines completly black (And I know why you did that. The Yelow sprites are the only pokemon sprites by nintendo that we're AAed) All I'm saying is that you should add all the shades from the sprite that you get the colors onto the revamped sprite. Go ahead, flame me for giving my opinion and ring to help. Perhaps I'll stop trying to help people because I'm going to get flamed & neged. Then You won't have me help you with Revamping.
