OFF TOPIC: This reminds me of the time when my friend trades his BLS to another one of my friends for a fake BEUD, BEWD and Legendary Fisherman

ON topic: The meta will blow up with super expensive decks

BLS and CED....

No sheet. It would also be more powerful if it had the text "You win the Game" in its card effect.

CED does more damage to your opponent than JD does, but at the same time does more damage to you. Therefore, it really is a hard call to make.

With JD, it's fairly simple to summon him, nuke, then play a few cards and hit for damage. You destroy more of your opponent's cards than yours, and you set yourself up into a position that forces your opponent to immediately play any power cards or combos he or she might have, because the problem of JD on the field has to be solved quickly, otherwise your opponent will lose.

CED, on the other hand, wipes out both player's hands and fields, so it's not possible to hold certain cards in reserve and then immediately establish field presence that your opponent will have trouble breaking, the way JD can. The fact is, unless your opponent loses from the burn damage he inflicts, CED cannot put you ahead of your opponent, he can only equalize. Equalizing is great, but just because he's better at putting you both on equal footing when your behind doesn't mean that we should ignore his obvious inferiority when you're the one in control. The amount of advantage CED generates is often greater than that of JD, but that fact is, the advantage is just not as useful. (With the exception of his uses in combos, IE: Sangan, or perhaps Mezuki and Goblin Zombie in some weird Zombie deck)

Due to his extremely easy summoning conditions, and extremely powerful effect, which promote dramatic swings in the game depending on a lucky topdeck, unlike DAD and sometimes JD, which at least require some rudimentary strategizing to be played successfully, CED is clearly "worse for the game" than JD, but I'm not so sure if you would say that he has "the better effect."
