But, the evil Witch Maleficant and her legions of scattered Heartless have given up on their home universe's Kingdom Hearts, and attempted to break through the barrier between universes using the items known as Gummi Blocks. Maleficant and her Heartless minions succeeded, and entered a new universe with new kinds of Heartless. Allying herself with the Heartless ruling organizations World Three and the Akatsuki, Maleficant manage to capture Sora, Donald and Goofy and sealed them in the Realm of Nothingness. The WWW, Akatsuki and Maleficant also have plans for new universes, and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals. But, the two universes' together's Keybearers have formed a united front to defend themselves from Maleficant. Who shall win this epic battle?
