iAmNateXero
Hand size doesn't matter, Drawing cards doesn't matter. Getting what you need, when you need it matters. Discuss.
pizzaman
But doesn't that correlate to drawing more cards/draw sources?

CrabHelmet
You people suck at this game. Drawing cards does NOT help you get the cards you need. Sheesh, you rookies.
iAmNateXero
Drawing cards is one way, but not the only way. Also when you draw, it should be random, that means you do not always get what you need when you need it.

Azuh
So if your saying Hand Size is good, your saying that Infinite Cards should see play? Therefore, hand size doesn't matter, its what you draw that matters
CrabHelmet
So if your saying Hand Size is good' date=' your saying that Infinite Cards should see play?[/quote'] First of all, having the capacity to hold more cards in your hand will not directly increase your hand size. You still need to put cards there to fill that capacity. Second of all, Life Points matter, but Dian Keto the Cure Master should not see play. BDKMRV
what if you're really bad at shuffling and you continue to get the same cards every game?
CrabHelmet
what if you're really bad at shuffling and you continue to get the same cards every game? That's not being bad at shuffling; that's being good at stacking.

HORUS
Drawing cards => more cards in hand = more options = better plays. Hand size matters.
iAmNateXero
^ exhaust your resources to draw cards I, N, A, L, And Watapon... awww man! also lets say your right, you got 2 cards in hand, a d draw and a d hero. Use d draw. Now u draw solar recharge and wulf. Use recharge. Now u got 2 upstarts. Use em. Now u got 2 cards. Did your hand size grow?
HORUS
Any player who runs Destiny Board most likely has an IQ of less than 17. You use an example of Destiny Board to prove hand size doesn't matter? Ever heard of Dark Armed Dragon? Judgment Dragon? Especially the now-dead Cyber Valley FTK where the player draws out their entire hand on the first turn and wins before their opponent's Draw Phase? Zombie decks can draw out so much in one turn with 1 CoSR and 1 Zombie Master. I've come close to decking out with my Zombie Deck, and keeping a six card hand or ending up with over 6 cards, and having to pro set. Drawing gives Zombies so many more spawns, so many more options. Yeah, Destiny Board is a good deck type, of course. You don't have to draw to win! Therefore hand size doesn't matter. No.
iAmNateXero
Drawing is random. In your case, the idea was to draw the entire deck. Thus allowing to have the cards you need right? Don't try to prove the same point i stated out in my first post of the thread.
HORUS
DRAW TO GET WHAT YOU NEED. There are obviously other ways of getting what you need, but if you know how to build a deck, every card you draw should be a card you need.
CrabHelmet
Horus, you fool, you should be able to get what you need without drawing. You know...just close your eyes and trust in the heart of the cards. I'm sure your opening hand will sustain you for the full duel.
Jesus
The last time I trusted in the heart of the cards a Rhino burst threw my fence and rammed me in a very uncomfortable place. Anyway, Crab is right. You should be able to get what you need without drawing cards.

Who needs strategy, mathematical probability, and calculated advantage when one could just have extraordinary and impossible luck?
Jesus
The chance of drawing the cards you need at the right moment without strategy is unlikely. Who needs luck where you only get the cards you need once out of maybe 200 duels when you can have Strategy and get the cards you need 200/200 duels. CrabHelmet
Hey, Natey-boy, tell me, all other factors being equal, would you rather have six cards in your hand, or zero?
iAmNateXero
depends, will 0 cards allow me to have what i need? if i had 30 spells in the grave and 3 ME's, id probably go with 0.
CrabHelmet
The fact that you chose one size over the other inherently proves that hand size DOES matter; otherwise, no choice could be made.
