JesusofChaos™
Winning a duel depends on a number of factors1) Luck of each duelist 2) Skill of each duelist 3) Build of each deck Number 1 is variable in each individual duel. Winning once against a meta deck means nothing. You must beat a meta deck at least 70% of time to have your deck classed as "good". Mr. Judgment Dragon
Discuss That isnt always the case. I think for your deck to be classed as good' date=' it should be able to beat any Meta deck around 70% of the time because of how differently they operate. That may be a requirement for a deck to be Meta but my 70% interpretation sounds realistic. Just because your deck can beat [b']a[/b] Meta Deck, it doesnt mean they will beat the other Meta Decks. iAmNateXero
Agreed to points 2-3. Honestly i think the only deciding factor to winning a duel is, "who can get the cards they WANT" fastest. If you can do that than you can steal victory.

iAmNateXero
I should have said need instead of want. Bad choice of wording. AND NO YOU WONT, ILL JUST FUSE IT AND MAKE IT BIGGER!
Deucalion
Well, realistically, you just have to look out the input before the game starts. What is there? Two opponents, and two decks. Therefore, all variables (win, loss, draw) can be accounted to those inputs. So, that means you have a) player skill, and b) deck build. Finally, you have c) luck, as b) is variable. So, those three things are all there is to it. Since luck you can't directly alter, a) and b) are the important ones. However, the way you build your deck has an effect on how much luck effects you. Plenty of searchers/deck thinners mean the chance you will attain the card you need is greater, meaning luck has less of an effect on you. But yeah, that isn't directly altering. Tickle Me Emo
wow come to think of it yugioh dosnt have skilla good buildor luck WTF!!!!!!!!!! He has mad luck. It takes mad luck to topdeck from a 60+ card deck into a Lightforce Sword when he faced the exodia guy or into summoned skull and that mist thing when Weevil had that big moth thing or when he top decked into multiply to beat Pegasis' Thousand-eyes Restirct.
