And now all the best duels are being gathered on a giant island or more like it, country, to compete in the biggest tournament in history. People must battle there way through each other while competing in Mini-Tournaments, unraveling the secrets of Battle Island, finding the friendship in one another, and defending off the mysterious evil that lies there. Each turn this card is on the field, put 1 "Blade" token on this card. You can send this card to the graveyard, to inflict 300 points of Direct Damage to your Opponent's Life Points , for each "Blade" token on this card. Personality: Sisco is a positive and confident person. He can always find the good in the bad. He believes in the "Heart of the Cards" and treats his monsters with respect. Sometimes when people talk to him, he will doze off and he can easily be distracted, but when he duels, he is at the top of his game. Bio: At age 12, after hearing about how great a duelist Jaden Yuki was, Sisco enroled into Duel Academy. Sisco wanted to become the next "King of Games". At first, Sisco wasn't even that good of a duelist. He barely passed his entrance exam. Sisco failed all his classes and never won a duel at school. Though all that changed when he got twisted into a duel with a Sadow Rider. With Sisco's soul on the line, he got extremely nervous and was loosing the duel horribly. He was down to 500 Lipe Points when something about him changed. He suddenly relized why great duelists, like Yugi and Jaden dueled. To have fun and to lead all the evil duelists on the same path. This eventually made Miato into the bitter, old man he is today, but all that changed after his duel with Sisco. At first Miato was confused on why even when Sisco was loosing, he was having a great time. Being as Sisco is against everything Miato grew up on, Miato strongly dislikes Sisco wishes he would get off the island, but deep down, Miato feels inspired by Sisco to fulfill his dreams. Several hours later, after She won the duel Rose ran to her friend’s house to tell him about the good news, but as she approached her friend’s drive way, there moving van was driving away and her friend was in the back seat of his parent’s car that was driving behind the moving van. Rose tried to run after the car, but it was too fast for her. Her friend was waving to her in his back seat. And Rose waved back, tears running down her eyes. Rose eventually forgot about her only close friend and became a duel zombie. Entering dozens of tournaments and completing best student at a Duel academy. Little does she know, that her long lost friend is closer than she thinks. [spoiler=Chapter 1]Chapter 1: Battle Island “Last call for flight 178!” called the Pilot. Sisco Hytara raced across the Plane platform flying over luggage and chairs headed for the plane. “I’ve got to get to that plane” Thought Sisco. The Pilot entered through the doorway with flight attendant right behind him slowly closing the door to the plane. “Hey, wait, I’m here!” cried Sisco as he leaped over a row of chairs waving his plane ticket in the air. The Flight Attendant froze completely as the brown haired boy raced her way. Sisco stopped right in front of the attendant. He handed her his ticket. The Flight Attendant starred at Sisco in amazement. “I can’t believe this kid made it”, she thought. “Uh, can I get on the plane now?” asked Sisco awkwardly. The attendant shook herself out of her trance. “Oh, yes sorry,” she apologize. Sisco smiled at her. “Hey, no biggie,” Sisco declared. The Flight Attendant stepped aside letting Sisco walk in. She then closed the door and turned Sisco’s way. “Great timing,” She complemented. Sisco turned around to meet her gaze. “I wouldn’t miss this chance for the world!” Sisco laughed. The attendant nodded and Sisco turned around and sat in an open nearby seat. “There is something about that kid, something different,” She thought as she walked away. *** “Attention everyone, we are arriving Battle Island!” declared the Pilot over the intercom. Sisco opened his eyes. “Finally, we’re here,” He thought as he looked out the window next to him. It wasn’t really an island, more like its own country. It was huge. You could see many buildings raised above the tree tops and little towns between the forests. “Wow,” gasped Sisco in awe by the huge island, “just think how many people I could duel, or better yet beat. The plane lowered on the runway next to the coast of the island. It then slowed to a stop. Sisco jumped up from his seat. “Aw, man, I can’t wait to get on this island!” “Could you quiet it down!” yelled a boy a little older than Sisco, “I mean we’re al on the same planet!” The boy was tall and skinny and had a scowl on his face. He had jet black hair and wore a red jacket with white pants. He was getting his luggage from the compartment on top of him. Sisco starred at him, a little ashamed of himself. “Oh, sorry dude” Sisco apologized. “Name’s Sisco, Sisco Hytara.” He then stuck out his hand to the boy. The boy took a long look at Sisco’s hand. “Garret Lizer, and try not to do it again,” he said in a offensive voice, ignoring Sisco’s hand and turn around to get off the plane. Sisco took his hand back and scratched his head. “Uh, okay then, see you around,” Sisco said oddly. Sisco followed the others out of the plane and entered the horizontal line. At tall, muscular, rough-looking man walked down the line looking at everyone of them. Sisco gave a huge smile when the man walked by. The man stopped in front of Sisco, starring down at him, a frown on the man’s face. “What are you smiling at?” The man’s deep voice rumbled in a question. Sisco starred up at him, still smiling.“I’m just excited and happy to be here,” declared Sisco, “What’s not to smile about? The man gave him one last look and kept walking down the line. The man stopped at the end of the line and held up a clip board in front of his face. “If I call your name then you will join the line on the other side of me,” he declared making a motion to his right. Then he started calling out names and people merged over to the other line. If was about 30 minutes until he finished. There were still over 50 people in the original line including Sisco. The man raised his head up and turn toward the people in the new line. “Congratulations,” he bellowed, “All of you have been accepted to Battle Island.” Then he turned to the old line at his left. “All or you losers, were denied to Battle Island, I’m sorry, but you’ll all have to go on the plane and return home-” “What,” yelled Sisco, “I work too hard to get here and now your telling me I wasn’t accepted?” All of the people in the denied line looked up at Sisco, there faces disappointed. A small brown-haired kid looked up at Sisco. “Only the best of the best can get accepted into Battle Island, all the losers are thought worthless and must return home immediately,” The sad boy proclaimed. Sisco looked down at the kid. “What’s this?” the rude man said to Sisco, “Do we have a sore loser. What, are you going to cry to your mommy?” The man laughed a deep bellowing laugh. Sisco clenched his fists. “No, instead, I’m gonna duel you,” Sisco challenged, “I win, me and all the other people who didn’t get accepted, are allowed to enter and compete on Battle Island.” The man starred at him for a second and then started to laugh. Everyone in the accepted line was laughing too. Sisco could see Garret laughing his head off like he was going to pass out. “Are you serious,” the rude man chucked, “That’s just ridiculous!” Sisco starred straight into the man’s eyes, his face straight. “It’s even more ridiculous, that I will accept your challenge!” Everyone stopped laughing. All of the denied people rose their heads in shock and starred at Sisco and the man. Garret seemed frozen. It took a minute for it to sink into everyone’s head. “What!” People yelled in astonishment. “Are you kidding?” people screamed in denial. Sisco gave a challenging smile. “I’d thought you’d accept,” Sisco admitted. Sisco then took out a duel disk from his backpack and strapped it on his arm, the man did the same. “Duel,” they both yelled. Sisco: 4000 Man: 4000 [spoiler=Chapter 2] Chapter 2: Entrance Duel They both drew 5 cards from their decks. “Since I challenged you, you can go first,” Sisco wagered. The man laughed heavily and starred straight into Sisco’s eyes. “Boy, that’s the worst mistake you could every make,” chuckled the man. Sisco just smiled. The man drew 1 card from his deck. He didn’t even have to look at his hand before he played his card. “I summon Doom’s Apprentice, in attack mode,” declared the man. Suddenly a samurai in silver amour, wielding a long, thin, silver sword, appeared on the field. Level4/atk: 1200/def: 1200. “Then I play one face-down and end my turn. “Only 1200 atk points, it must have some kind of effect and the face-down has to be a trap” thought Sisco. “My turn,” declared Sisco. He drew 1 card from his deck. “Okay, I summon Shade's Light in attack position,” proclaimed Sisco. A small boy, wearing red clothes and holding a white ball of light in his hands, appeared in front of Sisco. Level3/atk: 1400/def: 400. “And now I attack your Doom’s Apprentice!” The boy raced across the field and threw the ball of light at the silver samurai. The ball exploded with the samurai and the silver warrior exploded into a thousand pieces. The boy returned to his card zone with the white ball back in its hands. Sisco: 4000 Man: 3800 Students gasped in awe. The man gave a wicked smile and glared at Sisco. “That’s some monster you got there, kid,” he perplexed, “You got a name?” “Sisco Hytara,” Sisco answered, “And you?” “I am Miato Teluzen, the great Entrance Proctor,” He declared, being full of himself. “Now, enough about me, and back to the duel. Since you destroyed my Doom’s Apprentice, his effect activates, allowing me to search my deck for another Doom’s Apprentice and Special Summon it to the field. And now I activate my trap, Warrior’s evolution.” A bright light surrounded his samurai. “This card allows my Apprentice to gain 500 atk and def, because he was Special Summoned. And now, I attack you Shade’s Light with my samurai.” The silver samurai raised its sword and charged toward the small boy. The samurai slashed its gleaming sword over the child and the boy exploded into a thousand pieces. Sisco: 3700 Miato: 3800 Sisco winced in the pain.“If I’m going to beat him, I need a stronger monster,” pondered Sisco, “Since I don’t have any monster on my field I can’t Tribute Summon anything, so that means...” “Alright, I play the card Pot of Greed, which lets me draw 2 cards from my deck,” declared Sisco. Sisco looked at his freshly drawn cards and grinned. Miato starred at Sisco, confused. “What are you smiling about?” he asked in curiosity. Sisco looked up from his hand and smiled at Miato. “Oh, just my super sweet draw,” Sisco chuckled. Everyone in the crowd was curious and anxious. “What is he going to do?” some people asked. “Oh, just play it already!” others complained. “Okay, first I summon Flame Contessa in Attack Mode!” declared Sisco. Suddenly a young woman, dressed in gold clothing with long, flaming hair, appeared in front of Sisco. (level4/atk: 1400/def: 800) “That’s your great card, It doesn’t even come close to beating my Doom’s Apprentice,” Miato laughed heavily. Sisco smiled even wider now. “Maybe not, but this will,” He explained. And he held up a card in his hand, showing it to everyone. There were gasps heard all around the crowd. Even Miato froze in place. “I play the card, Polymerization, to fuse my Flame Contessa and my Hyper Blade in my hand, to Fusion Summon, Flare Blade, in attack Mode!” yelled Sisco with great confidence. The red-haired woman disappeared on the field in a blinding light, and she was replaced by a tough-looking swordswoman with a long, wide blade, wearing red, gold, and black amour. “And now, I attack your apprentice, with my Flare Blade!” The swordswoman lunged towards the samurai, her sword high above her head. She slashed the sword on the samurai, and the silver warrior disappeared. Sisco: 3700Miato: 3700 Sisco smiled “And now my Flare’s special ability activates!” he proclaimed, “When Flare Blade destroys a monster the, the controller of the destroyed monster also takes damage to the destroyed monster’s defense points.” The swordswoman raised her blade over Miato and slashed it at him. Sisco: 3700Miato: 2000 Miato flinched, but quickly regained his coolness. “Now thanks to my Apprentice’s effect I can again summon another Doom Apprentice from my deck,” Miato declared. Once again a silver samurai appeared in front of the field. “And now I play the card Tribute to the Doomed. This card lets me destroy 1 monster on your side of the field, by discarding 1 card from my hand. So say good by to your Flare Blade!” “Not so fast, I play the card Defusion!” yelled Sisco, “So now, my Flare Blade defuses into her two original fusion material monsters. Your spell is negated!” A blinding light wrapped around the swordswoman and she was replaced with the red-haired, woman and a young man with a shining sword. Miato was getting aggravated. “Why you little!” he screamed. “I then put one face-down card on the field.” “Alright my turn,” Sisco yelled as he drew a card, “And now its time to end this.” “Not I activate my trap card, Warrior Recruitments,” proclaimed Miato. “I can only activate this card during my opponent’s Standby Phase. If I have less monsters on my side of the field than my opponent then I can Set one monster in my hand.” “Too bad,” Sisco call, “because this duel is already mine! I play The Warrior Returning Alive! This card allows me to choose 1 monster card from the graveyard and Special Summon it to the field, and since I only have I card in my graveyard, I choose Shade’s Light!” Suddenly the small boy with the white ball in his hands appeared on the field. “And now my Shade’s Light, attack his face-down card.” The boy launched the white, light ball at the face-down card. “Foolish boy, my card was Giant Soldier of Stone, and in case your bad at math, you loose 600 Life Points,” declared Miato. “Not quite,” proclaimed Sisco. “What?” questioned Miato. “You see,” Sisco began, “whenever my Shade’s Light attacks a face-down card, the card is automatically destroyed!” The stone giant exploded into a thousand pieces. “Oh, no,” pleaded Miato. “And now, my Hyper Blade, attack his Apprentice,” commanded Sisco. The man with the sword slashed its blade over the samurai, destroying it. Sisco: 3700 Miato: 1600 “And now,” Sisco announced, “Flame Contessa, attack him directly. “Silly kid,” teased Miato, “your little fire girl hasn’t got enough attack points to finish me off.” “That’s where her special ability kicks in,” declared Sisco. “What,” cried Miato.“When Flame Contessa attacks you directly,” he began, “she gains 300 atk points during the Battle Phase. “Oh, no, that means,” Miato whimpered. “Yes,” Answered Sisco. “Now Flame Contessa attack Miato directly, Spinning Blaze Flare!” The woman jumped into the air and started to spin rapidly with fire blasting from her body. She spun right into Miato. Sisco: 3700 Miato: 0 Miato fell to the ground as the holograms disappeared. There were screams of disappoints meant on the accepted side, but on the denied side there were screams of joy and praise. “Don’t think I didn’t for get my part of the deal,” declared Sisco, “Now everyone gets accepted. Oh, yeah, and Miato, that’s game. Aelsthla-Mental
Looks pretty good, I'll give you a deeper review next chapter. I just... can't think too much at the moment. Although the "Battle Island" seems a bit like a mix of Battle City and Duelist Kingdom. It also reminds me of a great but short-lived fanfic which was a mix of Battle Royale and Yu-Gi-Oh. The custom cards seem pretty cool. Anyway, that's about all i can think of now, good luck!

SeiyamaruSisco
It took me awhile, and I know it's a bit long, but here it is Chapter 3 [spoiler=Chapter 3 Angel’s Revulsion] Chapter 3 Angel’s Revulsion “Okay, everyone!” Miato Teluzen announced. “Today, you will be given you will pare up with your roommates and be given a room.” Miato looked a bit mad, he’s been that way ever since Sisco beat him in a duel and humiliated him in front of all the duelists. “Finally,” declared Sisco, “Now we don’t have to sleep in those tents anymore!” Sisco was about to start walking in line with everyone else, when some one tugged on his shirt. Sisco turned around. It was the same small, brown-haired boy that informed him of the entrance rules before Sisco’s duel with Miato. The boy looked up at him. “I just wanted to say,” he started in a weak voice, “that it was very kind of you to let us all enter the tournament, thank you.” Sisco looked down at him, smiling. “No problem,” he chuckled. “I’m Sisco Hytara?” Sisco extended his hand, waiting for the boy to shake it. “Germy Kingston,” said the boy, shaking Sisco’s hand. “Well, we better get going” Germy started to walk away, when a card feel out of his backpack. Sisco quickly bent down to grab it. “Hey, you dropped a card!” Sisco called, handing the card to Germy. Germy looked at the card and then at Sisco. “That’s okay, you can have it,” mumbled Germy. A smile grew across Sisco’s face. “Really?” exclaimed Sisco “Thanks! What a sweet affect, this will go perfect with my deck!” Sisco slipped the card in his pocket and joined the line. *** “Okay, here they are!” Miato announced pointing to a group of worn down dorms. “Awe,” moaned Sisco, “suddenly I want to go back to the tents.” Miato smiled at Sisco’s dissatisfaction. “Now everyone find your roommate and pick a room,” Miato declared. Sisco looked over at Germy. He was looking down, a depressed look on his face. “Hey Germy,” called Sisco, “you want to be my roommate? Germy looked up instantly, flabbergasted. He nodded violently. “Which room do you want?” asked Germy. “I think we should look around for something a little less, condemned,” suggested Sisco. “Uh, okay” Germy said as he followed Sisco. The came across a huge dorm that looked disowned. “Hey,” proclaimed Sisco, “how about that one.” Sisco pointed to the dorm. “Uh-,” started Germy, but Sisco was already running towards it. Sisco reached the door to the dorm with satisfaction. He gently nudged the door open to reveal a huge room; he stepped inside to find that he was on a balcony that had two sets of stairs on each end, coming from the lower level. Sisco and Germy stood there in astonishment. “Look at the size of it!” announced Sisco in awe. “Uh, Sisco,” germy muttered, “I don’t know if we should be here.” Germy had a worried pitch in his voice. Sisco turned around, giving a reassuring smile. “Ah, lighten up, Ger,” Sisco comforted. They both turned around looking down at the large room. Suddenly, an angered voice came in the distance. “What are you two doing in my room!?” the voice rumbled. Sisco and Germy spun around to find a young woman at the age of 17, with an annoyed look on her face standing in the doorway. She had long curly blonde hair and she wore a white jacket with white pants, her jacket had blue designs over it. “Uh, hey,” Sisco greeted, “I’m Sisco and this is Germy.” Sisco motioned his hands to Germy. The girl got angrier. “How dare you break into my dorm and then have the nerve to not even apologize,” she raged. Germy began to get scared and hid behind Sisco. “Hey, hey, hey, we’re sorry about getting in your room, but you don’t have to snap at us,” Sisco declared, “I mean if you wanted people to know this is your dorm then you should put a sign up of some thing.” “Why you little-! That’s it! I’m going to call Pegasus himself and remove you two from the island.” “Gosh, chill lady. Hey, If you really want us off the island, then how about a duel. If I win, we get this dorm and we can stay on eh island.” The girl grew a menacing smile on her face. “All right, find then,” the girl agreed, “If I win not only do you get kicked off the island, but you also have to help me bring in all my furniture and help he paint my walls.” Sisco and the girl starred at each other smiling. “Sisco!” pleaded Germy, “You can’t do this!” Sisco just looked down at Germy and smiled. *** Sisco and the girl stood across from each other, just enough space where there duel disks could take effect. “If we’re going to do this, then shouldn’t we know each other’s names first,” Sisco pointed out as he raised his duel disk. “Oh, I already know who you are,” announced the girl, “you’re the little brat would beat Miato in a duel and let all those weaklings in!” Sisco could see the rage flowing through the girl. “Gosh,” Sisco replied, “you don’t have to get so angry about it.” The girl flustered. “Well, do you want to know my name or what?” She shot back. “Okay, okay,” Sisco comforted. “Well,” the girl began, “I am Rosaline Hiesten, but all my friends call me Rose.” “Okay, Rose, let’s duel,” Sisco forced. “Hey, I didn’t say you could call me that,” Rose perplexed. “Would you guys just duel already!” Germy cried from the side lines. “Fine then, ladies first,” Sisco declared. “The worst move you could make,” laughed Rose. “Duel,” they both yelled, raising there duel disks. Sisco: 4000 Rose: 4000 “Alright,” began Rose, “first, I’ll summon my Dunames Dark Witch (level4/atk:1800/def:1050), in attack mode, and then I play one face-down and end my turn.” Suddenly, a fairy wearing white and multi-colored clothing with white wings appeared in front of her. “Then I end my turn.” “Ah,” Sisco flinched, “what a strong monster! I’ll need something big to beat this.” Sisco drew a card from his deck. “Perfect! I play the card Polymerization to fuse my Flame Contessa and my Hyper Blade to summon – Flare Blade in attack mode (level:6/atk:1800/def:1700)!” A swordswoman dressed in red armor appeared on the field. Rose looked over at Sisco and began to laugh. “What good that did,” she giggled, “both our monsters have the same atk points!” “Not for long,” Sisco interrupted, “I play the equip Spell, Mighty Forces! This card allows one of my monsters that has lower atk points than all the monsters one your side of the field to have 100 more atk points than the atk of the highest monster on your side of the field.” White light surrounded the swordswoman and here atk grew to 1900. “Now Flare Blade, attack her dark witch, Sizzling Slash!” The warrior drew its sword up and crushed it over the fairy, who instantly exploded into a thousand white pieces. Sisco: 4000 Rose: 3900 “Oh, yeah,” Sisco remembered, “due to my Flare Blade’s effect, you loose Life Points equal to the destroyed monster’s defense points!” The swordswoman once again drew her blade up, but instead crushed it down on Rose. Rose flinched in pain. Sisco: 4000 Rose: 2850 “You might have thought you were winning,” began Rose in a calm state, “but everything’s going to change now.” Sisco looked at her, trying to figure out what she was planning. “Now then, my draw.” Rose slowly drew a card from her deck and smiled. “Tell me Sisco; are most of your better monsters fusions?” Sisco was a bit confused by the question.“Well, yeah, I guess,” Sisco answered. Rose’s smile got bigger. “Well, Sisco,” she began, “you’re not the only one with fusions!” Sisco starred at her, surprised. “First, I Play my Face-down card, Call of the Haunted! It lets me bring back 1 monster in my graveyard, back to the field, and since my Witch is the only monster in my deck, I’m going to summon back her.” Rose’s field lit up and suddenly the fairy appeared. “Oh, and that’s not all. Now I play the card Polymerization!” Sisco stood in shock. “So now, I fuse my Dunames Dark Witch and my Harmony Angel Imposter in my hand, to Fuse Summon Heaven’s Gatekeeper Angel!” The fairy disappeared and in its place stood a beautiful angel with pink ribbons surrounding its body. It had a metal mask covering its face. Sisco stood in awe at the beauty at such a monster. “Isn’t she just gorgeous!” bragged Rose. “She’s also just as deadly as she is beautiful. Now my Gatekeeper Angel, destroy his Flare Blade, Heaven’s Arrow!” The beautiful angel then flew into the air. The ribbons around her body began to glow. She stretched her hands out and a bright pink arrow grew out of here fingertips. She suddenly threw here arms apart and the arrow made of light shot right towards the swordswoman. The arrow collided with here and she exploded into a thousand white pieces. SeiyamaruSisco
Here it is Chapter 4. Yes I know its a short chapter, but if I put chapter 5 with it, it would have been too long and I had to give you guys that cliffhanger. Chapter 4 [spoiler=Chapter 4: A Lesson Well Learned ]Chapter 4: A Lesson Well Learned Sisco winced in the pain. “Oh, great,” he thought. “So now what am I going to do?” He drew a card from his deck and smiled. “Are you going to play a card or what?” wined Rose. “My gosh, you’re so slow!” Sisco chuckled, looking down at his hand. “What’s so funny.” Sisco shot up.“Remember when you asked me earlier if my best cards where Fusions?” “Yeah, so,” Rose questioned. A big smile grew on Sisco’s face. “Well,” Sisco said, “You where absolutely right! And guess what, my Flare Blade isn’t my only Fusion!” Rose almost fell back. “What! You mean there is more!?” “Oh, yeah, and I just drew the card that will let me summon them.” Rose grunted. “You drew Polymerization?” “Even better. I am going to win this duel now, thanks to Germy.” Germy starred up at Sisco. “Oh, yeah!” remembered Germy, “The card that I let Sisco have!” “Yup!” Declared Sisco. “And now I summon, Silly Warrior, to the field.” Suddenly a small, child-like knight, wearing a purple cape came on the field(Level3/Earth/Warrior/atk:1200/def:400). Rose began to laugh. “Your kidding me right?” she chuckled, “That’s your special move. You’re even worse than I thought.” “But do you dare to attack my monster?” challenged Sisco. Rose froze. “Don’t even think for one second, that you can mess me up! You know that you are going to lose, and now you are try to make me fall into your trap. You don’t want me to attack your Silly Warrior, because you now then, than you would have a chance for winning. Your even more pathetic than I thought.” “Well then, if you think that then by all means, attack.” “I think I will. Now Heaven’s Gatekeeper Angel, attack his Silly Warrior, Heaven’s Arrow!” The beautiful angel then rose in the air and launched a pink arrow at the child-like warrior, and the warrior then exploded into a thousand pieces. Sisco: 2200 Rose: 2850 A smile grew on Sisco’s face. “Why are you smiling?” Rose infuriated. “I destroyed your monster.” “Ah,” Sisco chuckled, “but in destroying my Silly Warrior, you activated his special Effect. It lets me search my Deck or Graveyard for 1 Polymerization and add it to my hand!” “Ah!” “Now, my turn! I draw one card from my deck and I activate the Spell card The Warrior Returning Alive, to bring back my Hyper Blade from my Graveyard. And now, I activate Polymerization, and fuse my two Hyper Blades in my hand, to Summon, Hyper Blade Millennium (level8/Light/Fusion/Warrior/atk:2600/def:2100). Suddenly a human-like warrior, with white, glowing wings, glowing emblems around its body, and a long glowing sword, appeared in front of Sisco. Now that I Summoned him, his effect activates, for every card in your hand, you loose 200 Life Points. “I only have three cards in my hand, so that means…” “600 Life Points down the drain.” Sisco: 2200 Rose: 2250 “Ah!” Rose winced in the pain as the warrior slashed its sword on her. “And that’s not all, now I attack your Heaven’s Gatekeeper Angel, Searing Slash!” The warrior flew up into the air and crushed its blade over the beautiful angel, and then the angel exploded into a thousand white, shimmering pieces. Sisco: 2200 Rose: 2050 “Great,” sighed Rose, “though, now that you destroyed my Gatekeeper, I am allowed to draw one card from my deck.” Rose gracefully drew one card from her deck. “Okay, now I Summon, Cosmic Blader Angel (level4/LIGHT/Fariy/atk:1600/def:1500).” An angel with seven wings and a glowing, purple sword appeared on the field. “And now to take down your Hyper Blade Millennium. I play the Spell card, Angel’s Blessing. Now, I get to choose one monster on your side of the field and as long as I have one Fairy-Type monster on my side of the field, the monster that I selected cannot attack, defend, or change battle position. And of course I choose you millennium.” Suddenly a group of angels raced towards the glowing warrior. They all clung on to him, not letting the warrior move a single inch. “Now, I end my turn.” Sisco remained calm. “Alright,” he said, “my draw.” Sisco drew a card from his deck. “Okay, now I Summon, Flame Contessa (level4/FIRE/warrior/atk:1400/def:1400) to the field.” The familiar red-haired archer appeared on the field.” “Big deal,” Rose chuckled, “she has two hundred less atk points than my blader angel.” “You overlooked my millennium’s effect.” “What!? I thought I put a stop to that thing!” Sisco shook his head. “Not his effect. You see, as long as he is on the field, every Warrior-Type monster, level 4 and above, gain 300 atk and def points.” “No!” “Yes, now Flame Contessa, destroy her blader, Combustion Arrow1” The archer woman, kneeled down and shot a flaming arrow at the seven winged angel, who exploded into a thousand pieces. Sisco: 2200 Rose: 1950 The angels that were wrapped around the glowing warrior now disappeared. “And now, Hyper Blade Millennium, attack Rose directly!” The warrior rose into the air and swooped down at rose giving a hard slash directly at her. Rose fell forward. “No!” she screamed. Sisco: 2200 Rose: 0 “What a sweet duel!” declared Sisco. *** “Tell me again why you volunteered to bring in Rose’s furniture anyway.” Raged Germy as he was helping Sisco move a heavy couch. “Because, it’s called being friendly, Ger,” explained Sisco as he and germy dropped the couch. Germy sighed with relieve. “Finally, that’s the last of it.” Rose stood beside them, thinking heavily. “Why, didn’t I listen when he told he was leaving?” Pondered Rose. “So Rose,” Declared Sisco, “if you need any more help, just call for us.” Rose shot up. “But you don’t have to,” Germy persuaded. An embarrassing look fell over Rose’s face. “Listen, guys,” Rose apologized, “I am sorry about the way I was acting before. Will you forgive me?” “Of course!” Replied Sisco. “After all, we’re friends now.” Rose starred at the floor. “Friends,” she muttered. “Well, we should get going,” confessed Sisco. As him and Germy walked out of the door. Rose looked up at them. “Thanks for a great duel!” She called out to them. Sisco turned around. “Any time,” He called back. And as Germy and Sisco walked off into the sunset, Rose said to herself, “Friends.” [spoiler=Cards in Chapter 4] Heaven's Gatekeeper Angel Effect: Harmony Angel Imposter + Dunames Dark Witch As long as this card is on the field, all DARK monsters' ATK and DEF are decreased by 300.
