You can't control what you're digimon digivolve into or when they turn into a digi egg. There are also way less digimon and hunting isn't very fun. Are you kidding me? It's not that simple. Sure you can battle whenever but the battles suck. Also the game has no plot. It's just more like battling to become a champion.
