KillingKid
Well hello, glad you've found this topic. If you want to print off your cards, and not be caught out that your cards are fake, this is the place for you! Ofcourse you'll be caught out sometime, and you wouldn't want to go into a tournament with them, for obvious reasons, but against noobs, or friends, you shouldn't get caught out too easily. First of all, have the picture look like it came from an anime, or something simple, no picture is too complex in the Yu-Gi-Oh anime, because otherwise it'd be cross-dimensions... As the "Year" and "Creator" - Put down "1996 Kazuki Takahashi" - as all real cards have that. Leave out the "Circulation ID" - The way it puts it down on Yu-Gi-Oh Card Maker is very unrealistic, leave it blank. The "Set ID" is very important aswell, keep the first bit the same on each card in that pack. Also, keep it a simplified version of the pack name, for an example, one of my sets, "Rise Of Killer" would have the first section of "Set ID" be "ROK" - to keep it simple. The second part of "Set ID" should be in this format; "EN001" - "EN002" - "EN003" - I am English, and live in england, so I don't know whether it's different in the US, or other places... For each card in the set, the "001" would change, go up by one each time. Some start with "000" and some start with "001" - and keep the "001" looking a bit tougher than the other cards, and preferably a Monster... Keep Official Card Grammar (OCG) up-to-date - If you are to pass your cards off as real, you can lie, saying "They're a new packet, really hard to find" - so keep it up-to-date. Find the OCG / Grammar Thread Here! Try to stay away from shiny cards, Rares, Super Rares, Ultra Rares, Secret Rares, Limited Editions, and Holographic Cards. You know what I mean, It's really hard (yes, it's possible) to get the picture to be shiny, but keep it to, about 1 card, the "001" - or none, if you can... At the time of writing this, there aren't many Tuner / Synchro / Psychic Cards around, so try to keep those minimal. Make sure you've randomized the "Serial Number" for each card, having more than 1 card with the same "Serial Number" is disturbing, it's very rare that your opponent looks at your "Serial Number", but it can happen. Try not to make your text too long, make sure it's easy to read. If making a deck, have Normal Monsters aswell, and make the "Flavor Text" fit in with the picture, there is not a single starter deck out there that has no Normal Monsters. Now that's done, we'll go onto printing cards. Actually, nah, I won't tell you, Almost_Total Obelisk will! Read this thread, it's very useful. Thankyou for reading this, hope it helps, slightly >.- Link to comment

KillingKid
I am sure that counts as spam, you just quoted my passage, and I didn't see any change in text...Ahh - I see you've put a message at the bottom. Please - Don't quote a whole post, and put your post half way in it... Link to comment

KillingKid
I use mine for playing against my friends :) And since I know the guy that runs the local tournament I go to, he told me that if I can produce a booster pack (in plastic) and can sell some, I can use the deck I made, within reason, 'cause they're so realistic ;) Now - Anyone got any tips on making plastic booster packs?
