Why ban it? It's the best thing to stop Dark Armed Dragon Decks.

I've got an even better idea for stopping Dark Armed Dragon decks. It's a cunning plan that requires a great shift in general game strategy, but it is truly brilliant in its simplicity of execution. I call it "banning Dark Armed Dragon". I don't have time to explain the details, however.

While it is, legal, we should have options to fight it. However, Fotress shouldn't be one of them due tot he loops.

But until that day comes' date=' RIF should remain legal.[/quote']

Because of the infinite loops like with Quillbolt Hedgehog, it shouldn't.

You people have a tendency to use logic of the following structure:

"We should do X to Card A instead of doing Z to Card A because, even though we want Y done to Card B, Y hasn't been done to Card B, and until Y is done to Card B it would be better to do X to Card A than to do Z to Card A?"

This is false logic. If we have the ability to do X to Card A, then we have the ability to do Y to Card B. If we don't have the ability to do Y to Card B, then we don't have the ability to do X or Z to Card A anyhow - in fact, we don't have the ability to do anything. And, frankly, actually considering that such circumstances would result in any meaningful discussion is laughable, as the only option is Konami's format, since we can't make any changes.

I....guess I understand, but RIF ruins DAD and strengthens Zombie. Yes, I believe it should be Banned, but it's also the best counter we got to DAD. Banning RIF would only make DAD stronger.

If we have the ability to ban RIF, then we also have the ability to ban DAD, so what banning RIF would do to DAD is a moot point.

If we don't have the ability to ban DAD, then we don't have the ability to ban RIF, and, n fact, we don't have the ability to make any changes to the banlist. Thus, the logical conclusion is that our best course of action is to do nothing, since our only course of action is to do nothing. However, declaring that our best action in every situation is to do nothing doesn't generate a very good discussion.

Well, we got SDD and other cards, so I guess we can ban RIF.
