Yes' date=' but guess what? Mewtwo being faster and Stronger means his Shadow Ball/Thunderbolt will probably OHKO Drifblim. On the other hand, Mewtwo could survive a Shadow Ball from Drifblim without much effort.

I know.

It's just kind of stupid in saying "This Pokemon can use this"

When the Pokemon it is against can too :/

Lol. Random.

Mewtwo winz >.> Mewtwo has really high stats. And can learn thunderbolt or thunder maybe ice beam or blizzard....

Drifblim can do what...Explode? Yeah' date=' but he'd need a focus sash

Drifblim can learn Thunderbolt/Thunder.

i belive he can also learn Icebeam and Blizzard.

So. It's type trumping i'm talking about >.>

Ice>Flying

Electric>Flying.

Okay then....

Ghost> Psychic

Dark> Psychic

:/

Mewtwo's Special Defense Stat is a lot higher than Drifblims.

Drifblim is slower than mewtwo and most likely has lower stats. Plus.

"If Note"

Shadowball=Ghost

Ghost>Ghost

Depends.

If somehow Drifblim were to be sucked into the ever-less complicated world of the 3rd Generation, Drifblim would win. Depends if people know how to tank or not.

It's HP stat is 150.

That's godly.

It's not Blissey or anything, but it can take a hit.

Therefore.

Simply tanksmanship+Toxic=Possible win.

This is 3rd generation though. So shadowball would run off the ATK stat, which is pretty useless for Mewtwo.

4th Generation provides no contest. I mean, well, you could use it for a substitute-Baton Passer/Endeavorer (Dunno if it could learn it or not.. ~_~) With Focus Band or something for a possible win, but still. It can even use a Rest-Chesto Berry Combo with Calm Mind it make it's Sp. Def godly, and take down Mewtwo naturally.

Overall.

Mewtwo's basically better.

Even though using it makes you look like a noob.

>_>.

If your smart enough, Drifblim can be better.

=/.

Wow, very intelligent points.

My argument was based around a simple, single-attack bout between the two, with Mewtwo using Shadow Ball (used Psypoke's Damage/Stat calculator to figure out exactly how much damage would be administered from Mewtwo's Shadow Ball and/or Thunderbolt against Drifblim).

However, I do think it's plausible for Drifblim to win, given multiple turns. With maxed out HP, it's about 510, allowing it to actually take TWO Shadow Balls from Mewtwo, even if Mewtwo has Max Sp.Atk (but only if Drifblim has max Sp.Def).

So I agree, with some Calm Mind, possible Leftovers, and maxed out HP, Drifblim could take Mewtwo down within a couple of turns (unless Recover is used, in which case it could take much longer).

Yeah, Mewtwo IS basically better, but unless you're playing an Uber battle with your opponent, it is pretty noobish to use one.
