[RP] D.Gray-Man: Battle for Japan

Now that what has happened in Japan has become known the Black Order is sending an army of Exorcists in order to fight for the future of the world against the Earl, the Noah and the Akuma...

 

In this RP you can play an Exorcist, a General (exorcist), an Akuma or a Noah. You can either create an original character or one from the original anime. The Earl himself shall remain an NPC controlled by me; the forms and information are as follows. You may have up to 3 characters at one time, including original and ones from the anime.

 

Akuma:

Actually, there are 3 levels of Akuma (currently known of). Level 1 is simply an egg shaped machine with no personality of individuality, they are basically the cannon fodder and can't be PCs. Level 2 are unique, once a level 1 kills enough people it evolves and gains a new form, personality and powers, level 2 Akuma can look like anything and are more than level 1, they can give low level Exorcists a problem but aren't that much of a bother to the more adept fighters. Level 3 are even more powerful still, they seem to take on the form of knights of varying colours and armour and have greater powers still, a level 3 can hold its own against the most experienced of Exorcists, however they are easy prey for a General. There are also level 4 Akuma.

The Noah:

 

The Noah are a clan of 13 people with supernatural powers that serve under the Earl. Each one represents a feeling or emotion (hate/love/courage/lust) etc. They have a normal human form but in their Noah form they gain grey skin and black hair as well as a seven cross scar across their forehead. They are more powerful than the Akuma and some can fight on par with Generals. Their powers vary more than the Akuma but are often based around a single idea (For example Road can move between space, however she can also create her own space within her or another person's mind which she can control, essentially becoming a god of that temporary world).

Exorcists: Exorcists may take a while to explain so here goes.

Exorcists are soldiers of God from the Black Order. These people use a power called innocence to form weapons in order to fight; innocence can only harm Akuma or the Noah and cannot harm other humans. The weapons have two types, Equip and Parasite:

Equip: A weapon with innocence within it, the weapon can take on any shape or ability and may have several different levels to its use.

Parasite: This type is actually attached to the Exorcist and can either be part of their body or an extension. Parasite type weapons have a standby form which may take the shape of a deformed arm or a scar before they are invoked and become a fully fledged weapon. Parasite types are rare as they often feed of their host and cause them to grow weaker or die at an early age.

 

Generals: There are five Generals who are elite exorcists, people with powers beyond that of regular Exorcists. They either train other Exorcists or travel the world with innocence looking for the Exorcist it's compatible with. A General's innocence can take on many forms and are capable of taking out hundreds of Akuma at once.

Name: Allen Walker

Personality: Allen is usually bright and cheerful to most around him; however his personality can change from time to time. He is often found questioning himself and his innocence due to the irregularities it produces. He sees most of the Black Order as his close friends and tries to help them in whatever way he can. He often places the whole burden on himself during a fight and tries to protect everyone at the same time.

Bio: Allen was abandoned by his biological parents because of the supposed "deformity" of his left arm and later adopted by Mana Walker. Later, Mana died and Allen turned him into an Akuma, hoping him to be fully resurrected but instead, he cursed Allen and sliced through his left eye. It was at this same moment that Allen's left arm first awoke as an anti-Akuma weapon and instinctively destroyed the Akuma. He now fights for the souls of the Akuma and for his friends

Powers: Crown Clown: The Innocence of Exorcism

 

When invoked, Crown Clown drapes Allen in a long, white, ectoplasm cowl, fitted with a masquerade-style mask that is silver, black [and gold, but only in the manga]. His left arm transforms into a slender, black arm fitted with silver, crown-shaped braces and rings, as well as razor-sharp talons, while his right arm and hand are encased in a sleeve and glove of the same ectoplasm material as the cowl. The innocence can also use Allen's strength to repair itself as seen when it was severely damaged by Tyki Mikk, but managed to reform. It also becomes stronger when Allen's feelings merge with its own. This is observed when, after seeing it regenerate, Tyki Mikk feels his body beginning to die from being crushed by the Innocence's "spirit". When Allen forced his synchronization to a critical state, exceeding 100% synchronization, Crown Clown undergoes another evolution: Allen's entire left arm is transmuted into a massive zweihänder with a large cross emblazoned on the blade, with his left shoulder being capped with a cross emblem. Allen wields the sword with his free right hand and the Innocence cowl becomes a high-collared cape which covers his missing left arm, with the mask acting as a clasp across the chest. Below is a listing of Allen's abilities in between these phases of Innocence:

 

* Cross Grave: Much more powerful than its previous incarnation, Allen crucifies and annihilates his targets by etching a cross onto them with his left hand, capable of destroying even Lv 3 Akuma with only a single talon. It can now also be used defensively, generating a shield by drawing a cross in the air.

* Clown Belt: The cape of Allen's cowl is released as a webbing of Innocence-energy that can be used to grasp objects, immobilize opponents, or form hardened spikes to impale enemies. It can also be released from the sleeve and glove on Allen's right arm. The webbing can also become ribbons to grasp onto railing or banisters. The ribbons were once used by Crown Clown itself to wrap around Allen's limbs and control him like a puppet when Allen was too injured to move himself.

* Crown Edge: A projectile attack which unleashes a barrage of crown-shaped rings from the clawed fingers on Allen's left hand. The kanji used in the name of this attack literally translates to "Claw of King-rings".

* Edge End: A swipe of raw destructive power dealt with Allen's fully-invoked claw. The kanji used in the name of this attack literally translates to "Destruction Claw".

* Sword of Exorcism: The giant broadsword Allen's left arm transmutes into after he found out the true reason of his existent, left arm to save the Akuma and the right arm help humans. Essentially, the Sword of Exorcism is an inversion of the Millennium Earl's sword, in both ability and appearance. The sword can be wielded like any other, though once invoked; the blade can exorcise evil from any vessel it strikes without any harm coming to the vessel itself if Allen chooses. Use against Akuma vanquishes them in the same effect as the Cross Grave attack, leaving a residual glowing cross crest in the awake of the defeated Akuma. However, in the case of level 4 Akuma the sword carries a diminished effect. Peculiarly enough, in the case of Noah, the Sword of Exorcism seems to unleash their powers in full rather than exorcise them.

 

The Cursed Eye of the Pentacle In addition to his Innocence, the Pentacle that scars his left eye curses Allen with the power to see the souls trapped inside an Akuma. The first incarnation of the curse is a black and red ringed eye which is automatically activated whenever Allen is near Akuma. Allen refers to his eye as "Mana" when it heals, evolves and a spirit is seen entering his eye.

Name: Sou Tsubasa

Age: 14

Appearance: Below Average height with untamed dark brown hair with a few crimson streaks. Both eyes are yellow and are often narrowed. There are two long scars on his shoulders which travel parallel to each other down his back. Sou's Exorcist coat has two zips on the back which open up to let his wings out.

Personality: Secretive is one word to describe him. He doesn't speak to other people much and tends to ignore others. He is really focused and doesn't quit until the bitter end, however he is also overconfident in his abilities and will often take on Akuma or Noah far above his abilities.

Bio: Sou's father vanished before he was born. From what Sou knows his father was also an Exorcist who went missing during a mission and it is unknown whether he is alive or not. Sou was dragged into the order because of his parasite-type innocence, however he sees it as a way to search for his father and when he's not carrying out missions he is searching through old records to try and find any clues to his father.

Powers: Sou's innocence is a pars cite-type innocent called Silver Gabriel. It takes the form of two silver wings surrounded with green energy which extend from his back. With this wings Sou can fly and also use them as a shield from Akuma attacks as well as slice through them. In a tough situation Sou can cause the wings to spread over his body, forming temporary armour that lasts for as long as he can hold it, but takes strain on his own endurance. Below is a list of abilities he can use with his active innocence:

 

*Shining Wing: The wings glow or produce a blinding light which not only enables Sou to see in the dark but can also blind enemies and give him an opening.

*Edge Wing: Sou speeds up to an incredible velocity and use his wings to slice through large groups of Akuma; however he can go out of control with the slightest hitch.

*Blasting Wing: Sou opens his wings out wide and creates a strong wind to throw enemies away from him, however this can also affect the scenery and bystanders and is best not used in team combat.

Name: Rokujo Mokuro

Age: 17

Appearance:

Personality: Dark, serious, etc.

Bio: When he was younger, about 13 yeaers old, his parents died in a car crash, then the Millennium Earl came to ask him if he wanted his parents back, and he said yes. The Millennium Earl then summoned two Akuma and sent them to kill him. Lucky for Rokujo that he got into alot of rights so he knew how to, but wish he didn't have to, but he did. He took his parents head, his dad in his right hand, and his mom in his left hand. He pushed them into a cross and shattered their heads. Then both of his hands bleed from the impact, and what remained was his father's symbol in his right hand, and his mother's symbol in his left. When he got these powers, he hated himself for reviving his parents then killing them, when he didn't want them to die again. Soon afterwards, he set out on a journey to find the Millennium Earl and pass Judgement on him, so these tragedies never happen again.

Powers: He has the powers of Light and Darkness. His right hand is the Hand of Darkness, while his left hand is the Hand of Light. When he claps his hands together and says "Judgement Awaits You", he serperates his two hands from each other to bring out a sword called, "Judgement".

Personality: Very calm, he never shows any emotions.

Powers: He is able to copy any human/akuma/exorcist's appearance and powers. He can also take control of the real human/akuma/exorcist that he has copyed, as long as he is using the copyed body.

 

I don't have any examples to show you, so I will make one up now.

Name: Norel Lost

Age: Unknown - Aprox. 14-16

Appearance: 5'6'', aprox. 105 LBS, (1.7 Meters - 47 Kilos) Long, brown-blond hair, like the color of dark sand, and skin that looks Western-European. Her Exorcist coat is customized to fit her because it must be able to open at the forearm (in the winter) for her innocence to activate without ripping the coat. She is always carrying a poker chip with her, in her left breast pocket, it seems to have some value to her. (before anyone comments, no, she does not frequent a casino, and it is not worth a high casino-value)

Personality: Kind, but a little oblivious to other peoples feelings. She can hurt people without realizing she is doing it. She is shy around new boys, but not as much around new girls. She is afraid of spiders, and hates walking through cobwebs. Her favorite foods are French Bread pizza, Middle-Eastern foods, Rice, and Ramen (she can't live without ramen). She loves peace, and hates fighting with other people, but is unhesitating to attack and kill akuma without question or waiting, even if she is out numbered or out powered.

Bio: Her family was killed by akuma, and she lost most of her memory, except for he mother handing her a poker chip, and putting her in a 'safe box'. She was found by the Dark Order starved and hypothermic. The rest of her origins are unknown.

Powers: Her Innocence is a pair of Paracitic Kaiser Blades, that emerge from her forearm, just below the elbow, and extend past her hands, and can be activated individually. Later, the channel energy from Norel's life force, and are purified, and burn Akuma with just a touch, destroying most LV1's with no effort at all, and making it easy to destroy LV2 akuma. Synchronization Percent 73% at start, and 80% at Lv2 innocence.

Night had fallen over the headquarters of the Black Order, however very few people could get any sleep, as the following day would be when the exorcist still able to fight would be sent to Japan in order to take it back from the Millennium Earl and the remaining Noah. Since the Akuma plant had been destroyed there would be no new Akuma so now was the perfect moment to strike.

 

Like most of the exorcists, Allen couldn't sleep and instead was wandering the darkened corridors, thinking about what had happened to him back in Japan. He was so caught up in thought he didn't notice the other person staring out of the window until he was a few feet away.

"Ah, sorry," he said.

 

Sou looked over, a slightly bored expression on his face, as Allen spoke.

"Don't apoligize," he said turning to stare out of the window again "I don't need it."

"Hm, where have I heard that kind of personality before," Allen muttered.

Sou ignored him and continued staring out of the window.

"What's it like?" Sou asked.

"Eh?"

"Japan," Sou said "What's it like there."

"Kind of a ghost town," Allen replied "Edo's nothing but a flat rock now and everywhere else is dead."

"I see," Sou muttered, but didn't say anything after that.

 

"Err, why are you staring out of the window?" Allen asked.

Sou took a few minutes to answer before looking over at Allen and stared at him with a pair of bright yellow eyes.

"No reason," he replied.

Allen followed his gaze and saw the moon just moving out from behind a grey cloud.

"We may never see that again," Sou said "What with this war and all."
