KD Lord
I'm not that experienced in Yu-Gi-Oh cards. What are the Synchro cards? Link to comment
Kale
Synchro cards are a new type of card that have a white card frame. they go in the Extra Deck along with your Fusion Monsters. you summon them with a "Tuner Monster". a tuner is a monster that is a subtype on a monster card, like Warrior / Tuner. to summon them, you must have 1 tuner and a number of other monsters on the field whos added levels equal exactly the level of your synchro monster. ex: level 3 tuner + level 5 monster = level 8 Synchro. remove the synchro material monsters from the field, and bring out your Synchro monster from the Extra Deck. their text usually has: "1 Tuner Monster + 1 or more non-Tuner Monsters." written before it, like on a fusion's material monsters. ;) -Kale Link to comment
sunnybacon
I know Tuner monsters can be Normal monsters or effect monsters, but what is the colour of a Tuner? Does it depend on whether it's normal or effect, or is it always the colour of an effect monster? Link to comment

Doom™
What are Synchro Monsters? Synchro Monsters are new kinds of monsters that will be released in the Starter Decks 2008 and the new 5D's Booster packs. They are monsters that can be "Synchro Summoned" by having 1 Tuner Monster and 1 Non-Tuner that fill the requirements for the Synchro Summon. If the Synchro Monster needs a DARK Tuner monster' date=' you can use Junk Synchron, and the other monster that is required can be a Non-Tuner Monster. Synchro monsters are fairly easy to Summon, as you do not need a Polymerization, Miracle Fusion or any other kind of Fusion Spell Card. You just have to remove them from the field. The Tuner and Non-Tuner monster MUST have the excact amount of Stars as the Synchro Monster you are attempting to Summon. They can't go over or lower. They are Ritual Monsters without the Ritual Spell card, most people would probably say. The card frame is White. Since Synchro Monsters belong in the _ _ _ _ _ Deck, if an effect of a Monster/Spell/Trap makes the Synchro Monster return to the Hand or Deck, they are sent to the _ _ _ _ _ Deck instead. The Synchro Monsters are only seen in 5D's so far. Probably the best Synchro Monsters are Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend who belong to Yusei Fudo, Aki, and Jack Atlus (in order)[/quote'] What are Tuner Monsters? Tuner Monsters are new kinds of monsters that will be release in the Starter Decks 2008 and the new 5D'S Booster Packs. They are monsters used to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster. Tuner Monsters range from a level of 1-3 mostly. They can be Normal Monsters OR Effect Monsters. Junk Synchron is probably the best Tuner Monster. Tuner Monsters do not have any Special Place to be put it like the Synchro Monsters' date=' they are basically normal monsters like Blue Eyes, Buster Blader, or any other kind of monster you can think of. Tuner is the 1st Sub-Type for a Normal Monster and the 5th for Effect Monsters. They don't have any specific color like Synchro's, just the normal Effect Monster color we all know and love. There isn't really much to say about Tuner Monsters.[/quote'] For more information, visit my guide: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-60929-post-965547.html#pid965547 Link to comment
