  1. 1. Which abilities would you like to see on a more balanced vers?

Okay, in an effort to create a balanced version of Sapphira, I'll post a list of her actual abilities (as my character) that are probably the most appealing. Vote for which one(s) you believe would be most intriguing. The current version of the "most balanced" is here (it's still op :( ): http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-60865.html

Don't forget to give suggestions on how each ability would be represented as a card.

1. Control over life and death: On, off, on, off....She plays with most mortals' lives exactly like that. My attempt at representing this is in the link above.

Possibilities: Destroy/Revive monster, or heal/damage players

2. Eating others to take their powers and physical strength: Self-explanatory.

Possibilities: ATK & DEF ^ & effect gain, or LP Gain after KOing monsters

3. Ice breath: Freezing...self-explanatory again.

Possibility: Monsters w/Ice Counters can't attack

4. Control over lightning: Able to redirect, launch, manipulate electricity in the outdoors and in other living things.

Possibilities: Burn

5. Immunity to Spells and etc.: Self-explanatory

Possibility: Negate/unaffected by effects

6. A special kind of venom only she carries. It paralyzes and renders any powers of one infected with it useless for the duration of the venom.

Possibility: Negate any effects of monsters that battle her, also can't attack

____

Drawbacks (possible): blood offering

Examples: Take LP from controlling player, offer a card for her to attack

Current Version:

Powers used 2, 6, "immortality"

Need Level, ATK, DEF, and Type (maybe Summoning condition). Also need sub-name (examples in brackets (EG: Shinato[, King of a Higher Plane] and Nuvia [the Wicked])

Current effect list:If this card battles a monster, before damage calculation, you may discard a card. If you do, place a Divine Venom Counter on the monster that battles this card. When this card destroys a monster by battle, increase its ATK and DEF by that of the destroyed monster's. If that monster had a Divine Venom Counter on it, then this card can gain any of its effects.

What do Divine Venom Counters do? They negate the fx of the monsters they are on and they also can't attack (poison still lingers).

Well, the easy problem of the above effect is that its effect implys that the counter will go on the living monster when it battles with one.

If you attacked it, it would normally be destroyed,

if it attacked you, well, this would be dead.

And if they are equal, well, then, they both are gone.

So, you MUST include somthing like, "This card cannot be destroyed by battle"

That is, if you wanna keep that effect ;)

Hello! Finally got around to looking at your thread, and you have some good ideas. For the lightning, you could possibly do effect damage/burning. That could represent lightning strikes, or something like that. For the powers, I think the venom one's the best idea, but seeing as you're already doing something about that...

Update on current fx list ideas: This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card battles a monster, before damage calculation, you may discard a card. If you do, place a Divine Venom Counter on the monster that battles this card. Monsters with Divine Venom Counters have their effects negated and cannot attack, except for this card. When this card destroys a monster by battle, increase its ATK and DEF by that of the destroyed monster's. If that monster had a Divine Venom Counter on it, then this card can gain any of its effects.

Okay, I need a title for Sapphira (Anything relateing to judgement or eating would fit here)

Hrm.. Pretty good card with your new effect.

Sapphira, the Demoness of Judgment.

Or

Sapphira, the Glutton of Judgment.

or

Sapphira, the Demoness of Gluttony and Judgment.

Er, I don't really know what would be the better name. But Glutton = Always Eating. While adding Glutton and Judgment in the same thing = Burning Always Eating. Or something on those lines. Even though I think the Second one I made would fit in the Title while the 3rd wouldn't. lol
