JesusofChaos™
What the title says. I say no, the proof, glad beasts won the worlds without test tiger. Will limiting it have any sizeable impact?
WindupRabbitFan14
I say so, Prisma and Tiger = Gyzarus.
Mr. Judgment Dragon
It will affect your chances of drawing it at the right time. I say YES. Prisma (After dumping Bestiari) + Tiger >> Darius + Bestiari = Gyzarus. If Gyzarus gets banned then it might not matter too much.
Yogg-Saron
Yes. I always run Test Tiger in 3s in my GB. Only because of its swarm power and helps me get the Glad Beast Monsters I need.
jamief
i dont care if tiger gets limited, i have mt new idea for gladiator beasts
Skuldur
yes i think it will have an impact on Glad Beast decks, Test tiger is essential in a glad beast deck, so yeah
Tekken Ham
No. It's just a great utility card. The big thing is Gyzarus. Gyzarus wins games. But, Banning/Limiting a Fusion isn't really gonna happen. Sure TER got hit, but he was really broken a few formats ago and still is today. Limiting Tiger will slow them down in the TCG, but it won't be a huge impact.
JesusofChaos™
yes i think it will have an impact on Glad Beast decks' date=' Test tiger is essential in a glad beast deck, so yeah[/quote'] *Points to worlds*
.:pyramid:.
talking of the worlds that deck wasn't exactly conventional Gladiator Beast deck, it had Gladiator Beast Andal in it and im still trying to get my head round that beatsticks won the worlds. on the other hand it does show that test tiger doesn't make the Gladiator Beasts what they are. Skuldur
yes i think it will have an impact on Glad Beast decks' date=' Test tiger is essential in a glad beast deck, so yeah[/quote'] *Points to worlds* lets see, DAD didn't have Stratos, Allure, Dark Grepher. Lightsworn didn't have Ehren, which is not a must for Lightsworn decks, but they have LIM against them. All Meta decks had TCG only cards(at least until the Extra pack comes out), that were on the Forbidden list at worlds. The world champion didn't need Test Tiger( mostly because all the other decks had taken a hit to them as well ), but now that i think about it Test Tiger isn't Essential but it helps them out alot. So limiting him would have an impact on them.
JesusofChaos™
Saying LIM lost LS the worlds is wrong. Glad beasts had deck lockdown, oppression and skill drain against them but did they lose?
Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Not much of an impact. Though certainly one tournament isn't much of a study point, it's Gyzarus that matters.
Skuldur
i'm not saying that LIM lost Lightsworns Worlds i'm just saying they had that against them, and most Glad Beast players sided Royal Decree against those threats.
JesusofChaos™
Whos to say LS didnt side more magic and trap destruction against LIM. Anyway we are going off topic.
Phantom Roxas
Well, if Glad Beasts could win the WORLD Championship without Test Tiger, it might not make much of an impact. If anything, Limiting Prisma might have more of an impact.

Thegargoylevine
Wait, is Test Tiger going to be banned, or are you just asking 'what if'?
Benraino
Using Worlds to predict the changing metagame is wrong. One reason is that they have a different Ban and Restricted then what is in place. This causes unfamiliarity and speculation upon the deck builders and players. For the US, other important "metagame cards" were banned as well as Test Tiger. For other countries, their metagame is different. Without considering the metagame as a whole, we cannot accurately determine whether or not Test Tiger is needed in Gladiator Beasts.
CrabHelmet
Wait a moment. Are you telling me that Lightsworns, which lost absolutely nothing (Ehren), got beaten by Gladiator Beasts...and that they were running Andal!? Universe = Broken.
