Fh-Fh
In Crossroads of Chaos there are a number of Plant-Type monsters that I saw could be good. I will list most the good ones: Weed [spoiler=Effect]If this face-up card would be destroyed, you can destroy 1 other face-up Plant-Type monster on the field instead. With a name we all can enjoy, this little tuner is a survivor, like other tuners. Probably the backbone for a Plant-Synchro deck. Fake Seed [spoiler=Effect]Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower Plant-Type monster from your hand. Good for the deck, this Quick-play gets your Weed out when your ready to Synchro Summon. Camellia Princess Titanial [spoiler=Effect]You can Tribute 1 Plant-Type monster to negate the activation and effect of a Spell, Trap or Effect Monster that targets 1 card on the field and destroy it. Trade-inable, protection for your plants, doesn't need to be tributed for her effect to work. Only works for targets, though. Polynosis [spoiler=Effect] Activate by Tributing 1 Plant-Type monster. Negate an activation of a Spell / Trap Card / Normal Summon / Special Summon and destroy the Spell Card, Trap Card, or Summoned monster. This card is a godsend. A Solemn Judgement for Plants. A must-have for any Plant deck. Copy Plant [spoiler=Effect]Once per turn, you can select 1 face-up Plant-Type monster on the field. Until the End Phase, this card's Level becomes the Level of the selected monster. I overlooked this small guy, not realizing he is a Tuner. His effect can be used with Gigaplant to get any LV12 and under Synchro. Botanity Girl [spoiler=Effect]When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can add 1 Plant-Type monster with 1000 DEF or less from your Deck to your hand. Since many Plant-oriented cards require tributes, this card can be used as one. Tribute Botanity Girl for Gigaplant, get Copy Plant/Weed, use Fake Seed, instant Synchro Summon. These cards are VERY abusable with Gigaplant and Lonefire Blossom. So what do you think? Are plants going to be competitive? Discuss. EDIT: Deck made. I call it:Plant Synchros
ShinobiDark72
Competitive plants? Its quite a possibility with other good cards like Gigaplant and the like. I can see Plant Synchro with Black Rose being tried out.

Thegargoylevine
Weed, Grass Fertilizer, and Fragrance Storm are definately the better of the six. Fragrance Storm works on your opponent's plants too, if the translation was correct! Creature Swap, anybody?
Phantom Roxas
Wow, so Plants are soon going to take the Meta?

XanderTheGreat
Weed: Decent card is decent. His saving graces are the Tuner part, and the fact that he is level 2, thus Graceful Revival friendly. Fake Seed: Only one strength: it's a quickplay. My advice: don't use it. Titania: Decent, since you'll always be planning to special summon it anyway. Level 8 makes her Trade In bait. Polynosis: Plants do have swarm power. But why waste it when you have Solemn Judgement? Paying life points is better than wasting field presence. Fragrance Storm: Bad card is bad. The only way to effectively use it is through Creature Swap. And that's pushing it, since Plants aren't like Zombies. Grass Fertilizer: BAD. It's basically Call of the Mummy, but worse. MUCH worse. Plants require one guy to work at their fullest: Lonefire Blossom. Center it around this guy, and use an unexpected support card to make him godlike: Symbol of Heritage. Do watch out for D.D. Crows though, as one removed Blossom screws you up HARD. And for synchros, Copy Plant is awesome. But don't run it at three though.
