Nope.

Zacky is not 12!

Kay. Stupid auditions. Stupid Zack Fair. Stupidly Cute Vivi. The auditions are how they got to New York City. Um, sort of spoilers for Final Fantasies IX and VII: Crisis Core. This is during the games.

Zack's Audition:

OOC: Takes place during a random mission near the end of the game.

Zack jumped, fleeing the soldiers behind him. As he fell from the cliff, he closed his eyes and touched one particular Materia on his Buster Sword. He opened his eyes. "Ultima!" He yelled, concentrating on the Materia and it's power. The world tinted white around him, and he heard faint screams, before drifting into restless sleep. The faint running of water...the sway of the grass...the roar of a machine..."Wait, what!" He shouted before leaping up in response to the roar. He was shocked at the sight around him. Cars drove happily past buildings higher than the Shinra Building! The sun shone brightly upon men and women striding happily and with pride in odd clothes! He looked around and spotted a group of kids pointing and giggling at him. He growled and walked over to the children. They ran in fear when they saw him approaching, and he was about to run after them, when a bald and bulky man, taller than him, blocked the path, glaring at him and putting a hand on his shoulder. "Sir. I must politely request that you step away from these children." Zack saw the children gigling again and responded. "And I must politely request that you DON'T TOUCH ME!" As he said these last words, he punched the man in the face, flooring him. He froze, and registered the many people staring at him. Without a word, he jumped, landing on a roof, and sped off, determined to find out where he was.

Vivi-chan:

OOC: Takes place during the flight to Lindblum from Dali, after Black Waltz 3 kills the Black Mages. Yes, Vivi is slightly over powered. (Shifty Eyes)

Vivi Ornitier furiously stared at the flying Black Waltz No. 3, and unknown to him, he started glowing pink, focusing his energy. His voice became deeper and angry. "How...how could you kill them, they're just like you!" The Black Waltz smugly replied. "Ha! They are not like me. They were simple minions. My minions." Now Vivi's voice became positively demonic. "HOW DARE YOU! I'LL KILL YOU!" He pointed his rod. "Doublecast! Doomsday! Ultima!" His companions and the Black Waltz fled in terror, but in vain, as the gigantic meteor and the flash of light annihilated the airship. The world turned black... His arm. Something...was poking his arm? Vivi opened his yellow eyes, and heard a scream. He looked to the source to find three children fleeing the damp and dark alley in which he lay. He frowned, and looked saddened. "Why are you running?" He got up. "What happened?" He looked around. "Where am I?" He considered his options: Go into the light, sunny neighbourhood and face alienation and terror, or retreat into the darkness, facing unknown horrors...Vivi decided instantly. He turned and slowly walked into the dark depths...

Ooh, backstories. I like 'em (as auditions), but we'll have to wait for others.

Seth, just write a passage about your character as though you were RPing as them.

Audition:

Jeff Hardy slid behind a wall. "Crud, they have me cornered." He said in his North Carolinian accent. He looked around...Bomb-Ombs everywhere. "Dang." He said. He swore under his breath. Then, he noticed a small passageway. He pushed off the wall. The bomb-ombs detonated. He backflipped in the air in the passageway. He heard the bomb explosion, then fled through the passageway.

*looks at BK's audition* Does that mean that he was inside Base Alpha when it happened? If you don't know what BA is, it's basically the base where all the residents of the Multiverse enter their respective worlds so solve plots or defeat villains.

Yeah, they went straight from the game to NYC, apparently. Although, most of the passes through the Fourth Wall are voluntary.

OOC: Swift, if you pull out, I will glare at you with the evil of a thousand suns. And Zack and Vivi's sort-of were voluntary, Zack used Ultima, and Vivi used Doomsday and Ultima, and if you've ever played Final Fantasy IX, you'll know how utterly devastating that is. SGY, you start. It's your RP.

OoC: Actually, it's Davok's, but I always opened the SSBA installments, so I'll just go C/P my original first post.

IC:

Talim was unlucky enough to land on her head after her plummet to the docks.

"Bleh..." she murmured, dizzy. "Wha... where..." She eventually managed to determine some idea of her location: some sort of futuristic harbor. The only living being in sight was Gamer, and their elements were all she could feel. She was highly disturbed by the water's predominance over the wind in the area. Worse, the air was so heavily tainted, she could barely communicate with it, let alone direct it. "I hat' 'dis place," she rambled, words slurred from dizziness.

••

As Link dusted himself off, he realized he was in a sort of garden. The only living being in sight was the dark imp he recalled Master Hand threatening to crush to death.

"Crap," he murmured, "I'm the wrong Link." He coughed suddenly: Hyrulean air was much cleaner than this.. "I might as well try and find some form of life around here... or food... or water that we could possibly drink..." He was highly discouraged by the environment.

••

Ganondorf actually smashed through a dilapedated building during his fall, whilst Jysgarren landed on the pathetic excuse for a street. People soon came streaming out of their homes to see the aliens.

"Just Armageddon," the Great King sighed. "Just Armageddon. Really, Master Hand has got to learn to watch his tongue... or whatever it is he uses to talk."

"You can say that again," Jysgarren grunted as he picked himself off the ground. "We need a white flag."

"Oi!" Ganondorf threatened. "We aren't exhibits in your local zoo! Stop staring at us!"

"Something tells me these people can't afford to enter the zoo," the Hero of Twilight precautioned.

••

Upon rising, Nightmare was most pleased to find someone in a white robe staring at him.

"Finally, a church I can walk into without people pleading for me not to steal their souls!" the German sighed, relieved.

"That's just because they've never heard of us," Bass pointed out. "If someone who's played SC attends the service..."

"They'll figure out I don't have Soul Edge on me," Nightmare finished. "Erm — sir," he asked the man in the white robe awkwardly. "Where are we?"

"...You're in New York City..." the priest replied dubiously.

••

Master Hand and Blaze were the only ones who managed to avoid hitting the ground hard. The god-hand created a portal to appear underneath Blaze, who rolled off of him safely onto the roof of an abandoned cathedral, coughing furiously.

"The air here is..." Blaze was incredulous at the level of pollution.

"Hey, this is NYC we're talking about," Master Hand told her. "The Big Apple is the biggest city on Earth. More people live in Tokyo, but for some reason, they didn't build as many buildings in Japan." He crunched his fist in a shudder. "I've never been so glad I don't have to breathe... We're really lucky we landed here."

"Why?" the empress inquired, curious.

"We touched down at three in the morning," the creator explained. "But during the day, this place is so crowded you can't throw a rock without hitting someone. This place is abandoned, though, so we'll be able to hide inside." He drilled into the roof, tipping Blaze off his index finger as she jumped down after him.

Davok and Wario landed with a thump on a roof. Wario bounded off almost immediately to see the strange lights.

Davok sniffed the air and almost choked. ``THIS is Earth?'' Davok roared in frustration. The air was heavily polluted and he could hardly breath. ``I'd rather have the dusty atmosphere of my castle than... this.''

Gamer rubbed his head. Looking up, he choked a little bit, too. But he was a bit used to it. He'd been to New York before. He remembered visiting it with his friends on a road trip. He remembered the docks. Picking up an old discarded rag, he covered up Talim, and went to a garbage fire so that they could warm up.

The security guard ran across the hall of the mansion in Fifth Avenue. Some kind of stupid crook dared to pull a heist here, in the most well guarded mansion in New York. Suddenly he came to a stop where there were three knocked out guards. Suddenly a large plump man whose face couldn't be real jumped out. Recoiling in horror, the guard recognized him from his kid's Super Smash Bros. Brawl video game. Jumping up, Wario whacked the guard, and then did away with the stolen money.

Zack looked frustrated, drawing the frightened looks of pedestrians as he repeatedly smashed his fist into the crushed payphone. It wouldn't take Gil, and it refused to work. He finally noticed his audience, and froze. He smiled, which frightened them, then waved and jumped backwards. He fled, hoping for some sort of sign...

-------------

Vivi wandered the alleys, intrigued by the poor wandering them and the run-down shacks built to the sides. He got scared, and started to walk faster. When he realized he was being followed, he stopped. He was picked up by the scruff of his neck, and trembled. However, when the large man held him up and smiled insanely at Vivi. He stiffened. The man looked exactly like Brahne, but without blue-skin and more manly. Rage filled him, and Fire burst out of his hands without warning. The man dropped him and fled screaming, his feet on fire. Literally. Vivi glared resentfully, and continued.
