MTG is infact the GRAND FATHER of quiet alot of TCG's we play today and it is still kicking since 1991, hell thats where alot of tcg's get their inspiration from (Don't believe me, look at Duel Masters and its so eyerie in similarty but not as good).

I run a Goblin Deck, a Merfolk deck, Artifact Deck, Zombie Deck and a Rakdos Deck.

Come on, I know the simularities. Yugioh is simply a watered down version of Magic the Gathering.

one day, i just got my yugioh magizine in the mail, and tucked in the middle of it was a free demo on how to play MTG.

thats how i learned it, (it was very clear and understandable) now i'm one of the best magic players in my town.

i have a snow island and swamp deck. :P

Yeah, that's why I would have a little trouble starting. After spending so much on Yugioh, spending the same amount on Magic seems a little crazy.

If anything, I might just buy a theme deck or two and leave it at that.

I don't think I can make as much out of it, as I have Yugioh.
