I play with the dark scorpin cards but now when i go to the tornaments i battle the same lame decks (mostly same card power houses) does anyone else use decks that arnt the same decks i play normally

i do i run differnt kinds of decks i make a new about every 1-3 weeks

I run a Bad Reaction to Simochi/burn deck. It revolves around me playing cards that would normally heal my opponent while giving me various effects like gaining lifepoints drawing a card or controling an opponents monster. It works out pretty well with the burn cards i have in there like Stealth Bird and Lava Golem. Im pretty sure there arnt many people who use a bad reaction deck but i would love to meet someone who did.

I believe that competitively, theme decks can't keep up. And I usually don't run themed deck, as such, I usually use decks based on a single combo, like Mazera DeVille. I think that, with strong anti-meta tech, theme decks could stand a chance competitively.

My (now main) Deck is my Crystal Beast deck

It's a theme, but it works out pretty well.

I have three mains decks, and about ten spares, they're themed but they do focus on a strategy:

 

Elemental Deck: Blocking opponent's moves.

Arcane Deck: Keeping my life points high, they're life points low and making sure my spell speeds are greater.

Gem Beast Deck: Get all Gem beasts out (it'll work as soon as I get a rainbow dragon ><)
