Gamble Masters :: The Next Generation

This set I made for the use by Jacob in my fanfic in Season 2, but my absolutely horrible writer's block (even thinking about it makes me get headaches) has ground it to a halt. I just lost passion for writing.

 

This set is a set of monsters with effects that resolve on the result of a die roll or coin toss, but unlike Jacob's earlier monsters they gain effects and not just ATK/DEF by the gamble. Many effects also can be activated on your opponents turn, and have bad downsides (in a fanfic you don't see much of that though).

 

Gamble Master X - Dicemaster Paccia

EARTH

Warrior/Gamble

When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, flipped face-up or Special Summoned, roll 1 six-sided die. Depending on the result, apply and activate the appropriate effect:

1: Select and discard 1 card from your hand to the graveyard. Draw 1 card.

2: Your opponent looks at the top 2 cards of their deck, selects one, and adds it to their hand.

3: Draw 1 card, then select and discard 1 card from your hand to the graveyard.

4: Your opponent looks at the top and bottom cards of their deck, then selects and adds 1 of the revealed cards to their hand. The deck is then shuffled.

5: Draw 2 cards. Your opponent then looks at your hand, and selects 2 cards. The selected cards are returned to the bottom of the owners' deck.

6: Your opponent draws 1 card.

When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned, roll 1 six-sided die. Depending on the result, apply and activate the appropriate effect:

1. Once per turn, during their Draw Phase, instead of conducting their normal draw, either player may add the top card of their opponents' deck to their hand.

2. Add 1 card from your opponent's graveyard to your hand.

3. Your opponent selects 1 card in your graveyard, and Sets it on their side of the field.

4. Both players select and change control of 1 monster on their opponents' side of the field.

5. Both players select and Special Summon 1 monster from their opponent's graveyard in face-down Defense Position.

6. Your opponent selects 1 card in your graveyard, and Sets it on your side of the field. The Set cards' effects are negated until the end of the turn.

When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned, roll 1 six-sided die. Depending on the result, apply and activate the appropriate effect:

1: Inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points.

2: You take 1000 points of damage.

3: Your opponent selects and destroys 1 card on your side of the field.

4: Select and destroy 1 card on the field. Your opponent gains 1000 Life Points.

5: Select 1 monster on the field. Both players take damage equal to the original DEF of the monster.

6: Your opponent selects 1 monster on the field. Both players take damage equal to the original ATK of the monster.

When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned, toss 1 coin. Depending on the result, apply and activate the appropriate effect:

Heads: During the turn that you activate a Spell card, when this card battles an opponent's monster in Defense Position, if the monster has a DEF of 2000 or more, the attacked monster is destroyed before Damage Calculation.

Tails: Each time a Spell card is activated, your opponent gains 1000 Life Points.

When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned, toss 1 coin. Depending on the result, apply and activate the appropriate effect:

Heads: Your opponent must continue to show his/her hand.

Tails: You must continue to show your hand to your opponent. During your opponent's Draw Phase, your opponent may look at the top 2 cards of your deck and rearrange them in any order.

Heart of the Gambler

Normal Spell

Activate only when there is a face-up "Second Coin Toss" on your side of the field. "Second Coin Toss" cannot be destroyed by card effects while this card remains face-up on the field. By paying 800 Life Points, negate a coin toss or dice roll, and re-toss or re-roll it.
