Dr. 23
The difference between "except" and "only" is as follows: a monster that says "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned" can be special summoned from the graveyard if it has been summoned the way stated on the card, a monster that says "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except" cannot be special summoned except by the way it is stated on the card. I know this because my brother and i are japanese and my brother noticed on all the japanese cards that in english say "only," said nothing about not being able to summon it after summoning it the correct way. where as the ones that said "except" could only be summoned by the way stated on the card. my brother than checked this on the JAPANESE yugioh wiki (much better than american). plz discuss or comment Link to comment
Mr. Judgment Dragon
It is correct but this should probably be in TCG. Link to comment
