Judαs
Recently in many shops I've visited I've seen people saying "Good luck with your shop!". Is this defined as spam? Just to increase your post count? Won't it rather make the person feel bad... I mean, say his shop has been idle for many days and he sees that someone has replied. Thinking it is a order, he goes to that fateful thread... just to see "Good luck"? Comments please :?
Guest Tiger
Yes that is spam.
Kale
it is spam, but nice spam. ^_^ You are thinking of it from the point of view of an impatient owner, where as he person was just being neighborly. Why shouldnt we say "good luck"? But yes, it is spam, since it doesnt have much to do with the topic of the thread. -Kale

J-Max
When a Shop first opens it's ok to see a bit of encouragement. But maybe a Godd Luck + a Order would be more appropiate?

Exiro
'Good luck with your shop' is something I'd rather say on msn, but if someone says it in the thread, well, it's not really spam yet. It's just being nice. And who cares for their post count?

Aximil
Yeah. I just think it's torture. I don't go around saying " Good luck." or something like that. If I go into a shop, there's an 80% chance I'll buy something. If I don't, I just leave.
Cin
A good luck maybe nice, but without an order to go with its pointless. And just adds to the huge amounts of spam a shop ends up with.
