Spleko
Ok, so im working on making an eevee evolution for each type tht hasnt been done yet, and i added light type to the mix and im not sure which is best, the first one with no spots was alredy cancelled out, yello is normal and blue is shiny, what im wondering is do the the spots look btr somewhat filled in(top) or do they look btr as circles like umbreons(bottom)

Jappio
First I'd like to say, I really like your splices, and I can tell you've greatly increased in skill since the last time I rated any of your things. Now I shall get to my critique. I at first couldn't tell what you used. I was dumbfounded, I wanted to know what you used. The pieces looked familiar, but I couldn't find them in any of my pokemon sprites I have saved. That's when I discovered the reason. You are using older sprites. You are using the sprites from Ruby and Sapphire, my sprites I have saved are from Diamond/Pearl. So after finally figuring this mystery out, I was relieved. Hard to grad a sprite without knowing its base. That is why I suggest you state what is used, it can help some viewers with understanding what you did. Now firstly, I must say good job on the splice. This is like a true splice, the pieces are hard to recognize. Even knowing which game they are from, it was hard for me to know what came from where. This is what some would say is the desired effect of a splice, what a true splice is (technically a lot of things called splices are known as "fusions". The splices I do probably should be categorized as fusions). Keeping the viewer guessing is a very good trait to a splice. Now you've gotten into some advanced stuff, but I'm afraid you've skipped on mastering basics. Some outlines on this splice are not the right color. A common mistake, but can make some things look ugly. An easy fix though. I refer to the weird dark red/brown color. Mostly noticeable on the ears. The tail looks odd. It looks partially out of place to me. I don't know exactly how to fix this though. I want to say one of the things doing this is the shading. This goes the same for the legs. You seem to have no agreed on light source. The tail makes it look like the sun is in the top right corner. The legs make it look like its coming from behind it and to the left. The head makes it look like its coming from above. All of these together makes the shading look off. Also the fact that there is no white on the head, is a little out of place. Most sprites will usually have the lightest shade on the head, since usually the head in the most prominent part on the sprites, so it is usually hit directly by the light source. The circles on both do seem odd, rigid and such on there edges. I can understand why, they are placed on weird areas. Another thing I noticed, there is a weird outlining mistake on the left side. If you look, you can see the front leg, it curves up. At the same time though, the body has a different outline. Now if I had to choose one of the two designs to go with, I'd go with the top one. The bottom ones I will say look better, but the thing is, the circle thing is too much like umbreon. Your sprite should have something different then umbreon, it is after all suppose to be a different pokemon. Well that is all I have to say. If you have any questions, or would like to argue some points, go right ahead. I hope you enjoyed this critique and that it helps you out in the future. Spleko
Thank you very much :D to get such a decent review from one fo the best slicers on this site is awsome!! To tell you the truth in a forum near this one titled all eeveelutions!! you can see ones made for every type, however this was the last one i made and was the best one in my opinion. This was the first splice i made that was anything like that, i mean didnt just look like a "fusion" but i am going to work to make more of my splices like this one. The Light sourec is one thing that I have always neglected but now that you have brought it up I will be editing the splice and some o my fav. ones from the past and all my future ones to it a set light source. The circles are suposed to look like umbreons, I was kinda going for that, i have the finalized version in the other eeveelutions forum, it is the same as these accept the circles are umbreons copied and pasted and slightly edited to fit this sprite. Thr Sprites used are as followed: Body+Legs-Emerald-Suicune Head-?game?-Umbreon Tail-Ruby/Saphire, or Fire red/leaf green-Arcanine Ears-Fire red/Leaf Green-Flareon
Jerry OldMaster
Not bad at all.Though, Light Type sounds suckage, tbh... how do you expect him to evolute? Daytime is already filled by Espeon. Dawn Stone? :\
Axiom_Nor
well, my only complaint is that its not called an EEVEE EVOLUTION, its an EEVEELOUTION
