I was going to start this on august 1st, but couldn't wait any longer. this is thee official contest. all the places are filled. 6 people can enter and here are the names below. 1st. monkeybuoy2 2nd. mechking101 3rd. tea.leaf 4th. demented 5.th caner5000 6.th keymakr if your wondering about the 2nd slot, I had an error with one of my incoming private messages. if the person who wanted to be in this contest, your still in, but I had a problem with my computer, so when I see your name in one of your posts when you make your card, I will put you up in the contestant spot. I apologize for this inconvienience. as of now I will not be excepting anyone else right now at the moment. if you were one of the first 6 people to PM me yesterday, you are all in. if you are wondering were this is from, its from the announcement I made yesterday to let people know I was holding a contest. rules. 1st rule. have fun. 2nd rule. have respect for others. 3rd rule. no cheating. 4th rule. no fowl or bad words. 5th rule. one light monster attribute card only. now for my point give away. 1st place 3 reps and 5 points. 2nd place 2 reps and 3 points. 3rd place 1 rep and 1 point. according to the rules I can only award 6 reps. it says I can give as many points as I'd like, but only if I got them, and I do. judging points. I will be judging everything, and I'm going to base this out of 30 points. this 30 points will not be given to you from my user name. heres what I'll be looking for. 15/15 this will be rewarded if your card is perfect. if you receive on your card an 11/15 you will have an overall score of 11/30 points total in the contest. 10/10 this one will be based off of your participation. any comments you post that are nice and good, will be reward points out of 10 to be added to your overall score out of 30. 5/5 this will be based off of how well you encourage each other to do your best. if you do it constantly, you will have no trouble getting 5/5 for your overall score which will be out of 30. I will be righting all the points I give out, on paper so I can total the scores and announce who the winner or winners are. now for the important dead lines and times of everything: july 31st type rules and contest post and thread for the people who PM me yesterday. this has been done. this contest can start now today good luck all. august 1st the first full 24 hours of the contest will be gone. august 4th announcement of whos in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, will be announced so that people can continue and see were they are at in the score board. august 8th no new entries will be allowed. this one is not important for I already have 6 people in this already. august 9th no more card editing or making after 10 o'clock at night. august 10th 1:00 afternoon time I will judge the cards and everything else. august 11th points awarded at 3:00 afternoon time, to the top 3 winners. august 12th lock contest and put into completed contest forum. thank you all for your participation in this contest. if anyone has any questions at all, please PM me and I will answer them for sure. again this is the official contest, this is the only one I'm running right now, for sure. let the games begin, and best of luck to all 6 contestant people. You might want to read the effect though to see why I entered this.[spoiler=Effect]This monster's attribute is also treated as LIGHT. This monster cannot attack. If a DARK Fiend-type monster your opponent controls attacks this monster, the attack is negated. Inflict damage to you opponent's Life Points equal to half the original ATK of the attacking monster. During your Standby Phase, you may flip a coin. Activate one of the following effect:-HEADS: Increase the ATK of all Fairy-type monsters on the field by 400 until the End Phase of your turn.-TAILS: Randomly select one card in your opponent's hand. Effect: This card can be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK Spellcaster-Type monster in your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned, you cannot Summon again this turn. This card's attribute is also treated as LIGHT. Once per turn, by switching this card's battle position, destroy up to 2 cards on the field. Notes:1. The monsters removed from play to Special Summon must both by Spellcaster-Type.2. This monster cannot be Special Summoned if a Summon has already been conducted in the same turn.3. [image deleted because a newer version has been posted in this thread. check page 2] lol dont remember how to do the "click here to see effect" thingey, so ill just copy it in lol. Effect: When this card is sent from the field to the grave as a result of battle, Special Summon two Snow Dragon Tokens with the same ATK points, DEF points, number of stars, attribute, type, and monster effect as Snow Dragon to the field in either face up ATK or DEF mode. If there are not enough Monster Spaces, then fill the remainder of the Monster Spaces with Snow Dragon tokens. Quick Explination: i kinda started to get bored of seing overpowered mosnter cards with like 3000 ATK points and yet still an effect that its so powerful. while i know that there are some real cards that are like that, and i will probably make them time and time again, its nice sometimes just to see a low power monster with an effect that really makes up for it and still has a fair cost to it (you usually lose lP whenever your monster is destroyed in battle :D). i would personally use this card in a deck that requires many sacrafices, especially any egyptian god deck. theres no way possible that i could ever make that pic, so i say that the picture is by Hibbary on deviantart.com hope you enjoy :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

triplelet Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 1, 2008 good morning everyone and welcome to august the 1st. one day down, and about 8 days to go. you have all made some great cards everyone. keymakr awesome card, i'm going to rate yours 14/15 for it is very nice. tea.leaf, like I said before, i'm not going to be picky about OCG. already then contestants, today I'm still going to be judging cards so check this post out constantly. its still anybodies game yet so keep editing and changing your card around. you never know if your card you switch will be worth more, the same, or less. good luck everyone. keep in mind that you will have to delete your other card, and post your new one, sence you can only have 1 light monster card attribute in this contest. again all good luck.
