Not sure if word about this has gotten out yet' date=' but I've just been authorized to let you all know of a new pack configuration starting with The Duelist Genesis, just in case you haven't heard yet.

Beginning with The Duelist Genesis, if a booster pack has a holo, it will not replace the regular rare. That means that if you get a secret, ultimate, ultra or super rare in a pack, you will get a regular silver rare also plus seven commons, rather than just eight commons (from what I'm told).

Enjoy!

Wait' date=' so does this mean that:

1) We can get 2 Normal Rares in a Booster Pack?

2) There's still a possibility that we get only 1 Normal Rare and that's it?

3) We're guaranteed to get at least a Super Rare?

[/quote']

No. It means that if you get a plain rare, it will be like a Normal Pack with 8 Commons. But if you get a holo, you also get what a Normal Rare Card pack would get -1 Common card and keeping the Rare card in it.

hm... sounds good, but it really isnt all it is cracked up to be.

most of the normal rares arent too great as it is, so now they are just kicking out a common for the rare.

and this isnt even guaranteed in every pack, so you can still get the same normal rare + 8 commons.

if they made it so that every pack had at least a super rare in it, then it would be great. but it isnt.

i think it is just another marketing attempt to draw in another big crowd of people.

Just think of the slips, I know ive gotin multiple rares in a pack before, but this almost guarantees slip ups. It could get to the point where you pull 2 holo and a rare, or even a pack of all rares, This could really make or break the trade market though. Just think how easy it is going to get to weigh packs? Pocket scales will be everywhere!

How hard is this to understand.

For some ppl, quite.

basically, the packs will be the same, 1 rare in every pack. however if you pull a super, ultra, secret, ghost or ulti, you will get a rare instead of 1 of the commons :D

so as I said before,

PRAISE THE LORD!

all those missed SDs were worth it :D
