Just when you think they weren't going to make a new Kuriboh for 5D's this turns up on the list for the next booster pack:

Kuribon

If you ask me this card makes regular Kuriboh seem almost redundant, after all not only can you reduce battle damage to 0 but it's also like a monster version of draining shield...

Thoughts? Opinions?

Wait a second' date=' i might be misreading it, but it says the controller of the monster [i']targeted[/i] by this effect gains life points equal to that monster's attack. So actually doesn't your opponent gain them most of the time?

I suppose the opponent gains the Life Points, but that means it combos with Bad Reaction to Simochi

This card is very powerful, If your opp plays Solemn, LP don't matter, If u play nurse or Bad reaction, LP don't matter, what does matter is that if he is the only monster on the field, you wont take damage, thats a really, really good card. It has to hit the list, it just has to.

You can just using that effect, right? Say your opponent has 5 monsters. If s/he attacks directly with one, negate the attack and summon Kuribon. Then, your opponent attacks it, negating that ones attack and returning it to your hand. Then, your opponent attacks directly again, summoning it again. Isn't that how it would work?
