YU-GI-OH! Duel Monsters III: The Emperors' Rebirth (Sign-up Thread)

Intro

 

Hello fellow members of YCM and welcome to my once again Duel Monsters RPG series, where people control various armies of monsters from all the YU-GI-OH! Anime series (custom ones included) and use them to either save or rule the world.

In this DM series, the infamous organization, known as Kuruseida (Crusader), have managed to revive the 'Dark One', whom nearly destroyed the world once, but was doomed from the start when he received the unlimited powers of darkness, where he was imprisoned into a crystal, sealing him away for all eternity. but freed from his eternal prison and now roams freely, causing havoc and destruction to those who oppose him, the Dark Emperor seeks several legendary creatures that have the ability to seal the Dark Emperor into his crystal prison and once again free the world of his evil reign of tyranny.

 

Will the Remnants succeed into sealing the Dark Emperor away for all eternity? or will the Dark Emperor destroy the last Remnants and successfully conquer the world? you'll be the judge of that in this RPG. the following RPG takes place 10 years after the second RPG, known as "Duel Monsters II".

 

Plot

 

The Dark Emperor, known as the 'Dark One' (Yoshiro), has nearly conquered the world with its most feared Army of vile beasts from the Shadow Realm itself. many heroes have fought and lost to the Dark Emperor and his endless armies of darkness. those who join his army and his path to world domination are granted to rule his armies and are given the title of 'Kuruseida'. however, the last of the legion, the Remnant, plan to seal him into his Crystal Prison and free themselves from his evil wrath once again.

The maximum players allowed to join are 5, excluding those who received a special invitation. those who received an invitation receive several bonuses that help them in this RPG.

 

[Vital Information]

 

Remnant - The last Legion army who opposes' the Dark Emperors plans of world domination. they plan to use the Legendary Creatures to seal the Dark Emperor into his Crystal Prison once again and free themselves from his evil wrath.

Kuruseida (Crusader) - A special unit and guardians for the Dark Emperor. these are his most trusted servants and are deemed worthy to use 'Ama'.

Gadeian (Guardian) - A monster that dwells within a person. they protect the hosts with their strength and guide them in their journey. however, some may revolt and take fully control over the hosts' body if they are not properly respected, feared of their powers or underestimate their strength.

Ama (Armor) - A special armor worn by people, granting them both massive strength and powers by fusing either a Gadeian or the persons monster with himself/herself. they are infused with the creatures powers

and its abilities and are capable of attacking or defending themselves.

He was told by his Dad that he had worked a lot for Reshef the Dark Being and that it was his fault. Yoshiro got the great power the Dark Emperor now has and that he should join the Dark Emperor to. His Mom and Dad almost never agreed about Yami Rink except for one thing. He once had the all mighty and Legendary Hermos. But He doesn't remember the story completely because he heard it the last almost 7 years ago, the week before his Parents Died, Killer; Unknown. He know lives a travelers land and he has company by his three monsters. He doesn't like to fight and most likely will never kill anyone, except the one that killed his parents if he ever finds him!

Divine Wrath (LV 1) - The opponent loses 0.5 of their HP for each "Winged Beast" the player controls on his side of the field (Simorgh, bird of Divinity excluded). can be used once per battle. the player (host) loses 1.5 HP each time they activate its Gadeian's abilities.

Personality: Forte is cursed with a short temper, limited intelligence and an easily-distracted mind. Despite his age, he is prone to acts of childishness, such as pouting, stomping his feet and throwing temper tantrums. However, when he does act as an adult, he is the polar opposite, acting cool, composed, calculating and kind, in his adult mindset, he can easily accomplish tasks his child mindset can't, due to his increased intelligence. However, in his child mindset, Forte is quick to improvise and a gifted inventor. He can easily think a detailed plan up on the spot and adapt to changes easily. The one characteristic that remains in both mindsets, however hard he might try to hide it, is pervertedness, as no matter what, he will always flirt with and court a girl he deems 'hot'.

 

Bio: Forte was born in a middle-class house in Paris. He was raised peacefully, with no sign of arguments or fighting. He was home-schooled, and given everything he could ever want. However, when he slept, his parents would argue incessantly. One night, he woke up, awaken by his parents fighting in the living room. What he came across was a horrific sight for a 5-year-old; his mother lay dead upon the floor, his father holding the accursed knife, dripping with crimson blood. He fled from the murder scene, running until his feet wore out.

Eventually, he found the church. He hid inside the holy site, until found by a priest three days later. The priest said not a word, picking up the lonely, starving, dehydrated boy and delicately placed him in a bed deeper in the church. The priest called for help, and with 4 priests questioning him, they learned of the horrific crime. They took action, storming round to the house. They found the father there, simply sitting on the floor cross-legged, staring at his former wife's corpse. He turned to stare at the priests, with blank eyes he picked up the murder weapon, held it to his chest, and pushed. The priests, entranced by the display of gore, fled the room. Forte had already fled the church, they found, and searched high and low, but they could not find him. Forte had boarded a ferry, and he sailed to England, hoping to start a new life. He was taken in by a family of pacifists, never to hurt a soul. He was raised by this family for 14 years, and when Forte was 19, they sent him off, content with his current attitude. However, being on the streets of London in those times brought back horrific memories, and Fort developed a split personality; his cool, collected adult side, and his short-tempered, prideful childish mindset.

He wandered England, surviving by himself, until he discovered a dark corner in a small cave in Eastern England. This corner led him to a small region of the Shadow Realm, in which hid an army of strange machines which seemed to be half-robot, half-cannon. One was different, however, a strange man who seemed to inhabit Forte, possessing him in a way. His two sides, split as was the man's bonded with the man's spirit inside his heart, and so the current Forte was formed. He, now learning of the Dark Emperor, seeks to stop him and stop any violence from ever occurring ever again.

I did not believe his stories or that everybody has monsters that are connected to them in till i was in the small forest in the back of property. as i walked around for no apparent resign call it luck, but ran in to a person named Harpie girl and she took me her sisters apparently my Gadeians as she told me. they told me that i was connected to them as they where to me, and the story about the Emperor. But they have not choses a side yet they leave that up to me, I told them that only time could tell about the future.

Anyways, this RPG takes place in a somewhat 19th-20th century. no Cars, no Airplanes or anything related to Electricity or Automobiles. the year is somewhere around 20XX (XX means either a random number or somewhere near 2100). there are no cards in this RPG, only real monsters based on the YU-GI-OH! TCG, where people will battle it out to either save or destroy the world. so no dueling of any sort and whatnot.

Unfortunately, you cannot be the Leader of the 'Dark One', hence, the Dark Emperors' powers rivals that of the Egyptian Gods and perhaps, even more powerful then any other card (Well, in this RPG :P).

Also, I specifically said you must choose between a Level 1-7 Star monster for your Gadeian, Yubel has more stars and can't be accepted. edit your profile once again in order to participate in the RPG.

lol, the year is nearly 2100, the civilization as we know it is in the brink of destruction. however, since a few years ago, the world was once a peaceful place and nearly everything was rebuilt from the last wars between the Rebels and Darkens. so, I'll accept your Character and add you to the second post once I've done a few things.

Sorry for the delay, I said I'd start the RPG yesterday, but my Internet was out for no reason (which I won't have an Internet connection unless I get it fixed). anyways, I've managed to write everyones' stories, but...its saved on my Computer. >_<

I'm using a public computer right now, so, hopefully, I get my Internet back within a few days, if not sooner (HOPEFULLY) :(

EDIT: Um, can I change my Gadeian and stuff? I have new favourite monsters! For the Gadeian, Evil Hero Lightning Golem. For the monster, Nitro and Junk Synchrons. Just assume that Double Dude and Cannon Soldier were replaced in my bio.
