Exiro
Matt Peddle just invented something new named something people have been doing in competitive duels. Freezing. If you don't know what it is, check Metagame. So, have you been doing it without noticing? I used to freeze a lot, but noticed that I didn't do much in those turns myself either. That's why I started to build my decks more aggressively, and lost space for all those Solemns and stuff. The only freezing cards I use right now are CCV and Dustshoot, and a sided Mystical Refpanel. So how 'bout you? Fake Edit: This is YCM, so it's wise to include a link rather than letting people say 'I don't understand what Freezing is'. http://www.metagame.com/yugioh.aspx?tabid=33&ArticleId=9941

DonRoyale
I always keep Dustshoot in the main deck, because I've been on the recieving end of it many times. I also side Mind Crush, and constantly side it in against the Gladiator Beast players (which is growing in my local area; I'm thinking I should main it.) I also main tech that specifically goes against Glads (Compulsory Evacuation Device on Gyzarus, Dark Coffin), so I always like to ensure I can find specific ways to piss of people who play a specific theme. Making sure your opponent has no useful cards to play with is good. The ability to (truly) eliminate advantage in this format is always a good thing, because in this format, a fat Graveyard is almost always a good thing. Glads have Darius, and Dark Armed Dragon speaks for itself. *sigh* I just cannot WAIT until September, when both Glads and DaD rot in the ban list *hopefully*

Abstract [Atrocity]
So, freezing is basically just making it so your opponent's turn was a big waste, getting them nowhere while you sit and laugh on your rich ass, waiting for your next turn so you ccan wipe the floor with your opponent with your Herakilnos/DAD/LS, right? Well, I try to whenever possible, except I don't have any of the above cards.

HORUS
Yes, in my Gladiator Beast deck I run Mind Crush, Trap Dustshoot, 2 Phoenix Wing Wind Blast, 3 Solemn Judgment, CCV, 3 Cold Wave. And in Zombies, I run almost the same, minus the Cold Waves.
The Dark One
wow!! now spinning is called freeze?? interesting... Nah' date=' freezing is something different. Cold Wave and Prohibition, for example, freeze.[/quote'] Spinning is also a form of freezing. It makes your opponent able to do less during his/her turn. Guest PikaPerson01
From the term, I assumed it meant freezing up and letting the match go to time, then siding in crap like Ookazi to autowin the duel. On-topic: This topic is basically "Do you run PWWB, Solemn, Trap Dustshoot, or Crush Card in your deck"?
