Quota

Recommended Posts

I wish to suggest that there be a noob quota. There should only be a certain amount of noobs each week. If you've noticed, the noobs have been invading everything. And they don't read rules. If not a certain amount, there should be an age limit. I've noticed that most noob cards have bad spelling. That probably means they're between 5-8 years old. They should be about 10 to join this forum. Please consider this.

lol! A n00b quota!! ^_^

Sounds good to me. Of seems that we have swells of new members that come, then do something wrong, we get angry, they get neg reps, they are banned in a few hours / days.

Maybe that would happen less if we had a limit of new members that were accepted.

But it would be unfair to have one, as this is a free website. ^_^

I dont support very much. But I give credit for the suggestion.

According to me that isn't right' date=' because firstly I don't think anyone like 5-8 years would really join, secondly there are some awesome card makers who [i']are[/i] young.

A N00B's age is undefined.

I have NO support in this idea, even though I don't like rulebreakers.

n00bs are they way they are because they dont have any care for rules etc. They do what they want to their extent... Sad as it may be there is no real good defense, and this is not one..

Age has little impact on the rulebreaking factor, I personally am 8 years old, although I'm as good as the next guy with spelling and Official Card Grammar. The current system for taking care of rulebreakers is fine.

Negative reputation points and bans cut down on rulebreaking to a great degree, and it's all we'll need for now. Even if there were an age limit, there's nothing stopping members from lying.

Do you mean newbs or noob noobs?

Either way, I don't agree for the age limit. Some young people are really good at making cards with perfect OCG and grammar.

Example: Me and Void (hehehe, never thought I was 10 now did you?)

Also, they can lie about age >.>

If 8 year olds like Yugioh and want to make their own cards, you can't stop them. They like Yugioh, and that's it.

Impossible. And even if it was, it just couldn't work. A member can't be defined before they join. And like what's already been said about the age requirement, anyone can lie when it comes to those, so that won't work either. If you want to help, simply report spam and PM Super Mods when it comes to rouge spammers and multi-accounts.

I apologize to those who have been offended' date=' but an example of the cause of this idea is that I couldn't get on all afternoon yesterday!!!! [b']Another is that some n00b spelled "ghost" without a "H"!!!!![/b] I'll decrease my quota age to 8...

^lolwut?

i noe ned tew spel corectley iff ii doon won tew >.>

So now they are a n00b because they mispelled "Ghost"?

You sir, are a fool.

And you and a lot of other members need to learn the difference between:

Noob

Newbie

and n00b
