Er no offense SGY but that first one is fail. People don't mind the fake types in PC' date=' but it gets crazy when you have four fake types on one card. Eight is yet again also fail, some monsters can be Level 10 but 10 is the limit, nothing should be higher.

[/quote']

We don't mind them, but the good YCMers know not to. Also, can you think of any good Lv10 monsters other than the Gods?

Can you remove all those abbreviations in the last one? I have no idea what you're saying in some sentences.

Done.

Great job. Finally we have some form of enforcement that stops n00bs for making Goomba's with 9999 ATK/DEF and destroy all cards on opponents field.

I'm glad you see things my way. XD That is why I made this, though.

I'm pretty sure Vennominaga is 10' date=' but w/e. And Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon Knight or w/e it is.

Neither card is good. >.<

True. Well, I find Vennominaga interesting, but Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon Knight is just a card that you will never be able to use, and if you do it can be removed easily, making your efforts for not.

Yeh' date=' forgot to fix that. >_< Fixing...

There was this other thing I wanted to add to the guide... I forget what it is now. :(

Oh, yeah. Learn to play before you learn to make.

The objective of YCMing is to make cards that change the game' date=' and Normal Monsters have no way of doing that.

[/quote']

My imagination says this should stop. Here you are, ranting about how Effect Monsters are more potent and useful are imaginative than Normal Monsters, while you've never thought about improving Normal Monsters.

They did, Geminis. Now those are useful. Gigaplant, Il Blud... Even Doom Shaman, by some stretches of the imagination.

I know about Geminis. However, those are certainly not the limit.

Also another argument; Why doesn't anyone care about a Normal Monster's falvor text? It should be worth looking at around here.

So, you have 2 Neo Bug and 2 Gene-Warped Warwolf up, in Attack Position, 1 MF face-down, and 1 BTH face-down. Your opponent has DAD and Goyo, both in Attack Position, and 1 Solemn face-down. DAD has just been Summoned. Who wins?

Flavor text only tells a story; it doesn't affect the game at all. But you did give me an idea... quite a good idea, actually. Thank you very much.

Lemme' guess. Effects that depend on a Normal Monster's flavor text?

Yay for random convo joining!

I already made "Lore" monsters that work that way, but w/e.

And for the record, this thread should have a READ BEFORE POSTING or something on it, the message really needs to get out.

True. YCMers shouldn't be asking "Who's DAD?"

Problems with your sig:

No Normal Monster: People complain about them lacking creativity, when they lack the creativity to make them diverse.

YOU CAN DO NOTHING WITH NORMAL MONSTERS. GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD.

No Fake Types: Why do people allow fake subtypes but not faketypes? Fake subtypes make the game more interesting but so do faketypes, in moderation.

Types have no inherent modifier, and no impact on gameplay. Subtypes do, and therefore affect gameplay.

I do realize that they have no imapct on gameplay. But they still deserve to be rated in YCMade cards.

>.> And how?

An archetype of monsters that use card text. Mwahahahaha.

We already had this argument, and I'm just gonna say that Normal Monsters and fake-types have such a bad rep because people suck at making them.

And this really isn't the place to have this discussion. I just hope the Read Before Posting will get more people.
