Ah sorry i miss read the meaning of that when u first posted it. I remember reading it once (i'll try and re-find the link later) but even if i am currently wrong about this after a while some of the longer running shows or popular ones that people still post even tho the show has finished have a good chance of this happening.

The maker of these cards made a "wing zero custom" but the effect to limit it had been used in all the ones he had seen. I know this isn't realy a good example for this because it's a high level and to be franc it isn't realy a good card but it is an example. There might have been a way around it but the better fitting one had already been used. So if a lower level card encountered a similar porblem it would probably be better to use a normal monster rather than making a poor effect that does not fit the charector.

Break from the norm and use your imagination. If you can't, don't make the card. The objective of YCMing is to make cards that change the game, and Normal Monsters have no way of doing that.

My example was just to show an effect can be overused yes there is probably a way around this one but it makes it far more difficult to find 1 that fits since the best one (or ones) has been used. So if this happened with a lower level monster making a normal may not only be easier but better than making an effect that doesen't fit well.

An excellent guide for the most part. The only one I don't completely agree with is the last one. Sometimes official art pictures can work, if they're good enough. But other than that, it's really good and should be stickied.

Infernal FL - 2, Wickeds and Phantoms - 3 cards, Paladin of WD and UBEWD is another problem

( Cheapest common way to summon Paladin of WD, Poly+Hex+Black Lust Sold = 3 cards )

***Let's say lv 7-9 requires 2 tributes, 9++ needs 3 cards***

 

Higher level ( between 9-12) is more difficult to summon ?

Exodius (Lv10) is ridiculously easy to summon, Hamon Uria Raviel are relatively easy

UBEWD, Paladin of WD, FGD is not too hard to summon. Not to mention Metal Reflect Slime.

Exodius,- foolish burial any card, special summon --- 1 Turn (easy)

UBEWD, FGD,- Future Fusion, Dragon Mirror --- 1 Turn (OK this is rare)

Metal Reflect Slime,- 1 1/2 turns ?!?!?

Yes in the term of ATK, except Koitsu. Exodius and Winged Kuriboh both strong in respective effects. These Lv 9-12 dominated by 3000-4000 ATK monsters.

 

These levels meant something ?

Before "Metamorphosis" yes. You can Metamorph Metal Reflect Slime to Cyber End Dragon.

Now ? Dunno.

 

That's the current research about levels of current Hyper levelled monsters.

In my opinion these 9-12 levels are free to be used for Fan of this Pop Culture session since they almostly meant nothing. It is safe to say, up to your wish. Actually I'm glad after successfully summoning FGD on my field, it is 12 stars, huge, but prone to effect.

I'm agreed with yours, but your good example of Blaze Cat can be considered Superb card if it can be a real card. Superb meant to be strongest, some can say, you people can't set a fictional card stronger than existing cards.

That "cat" can inflict 900 burn damage / turn and have good 1800 DEF and ATK to boot, thus it can destroy a card and special summon another card in the same turn either.

"IF" I complaint, of course you can say, "It is fictional". Since, in the reality it is REALLY fictional. Neither case I can say anything about.

I want to make a fictional card, so long, I only have official arts and have bad luck searching another fan art in the internet. Actually I'm OK if these cards is blank white without any picture, since the most important is the gameplay of these cards.

 

But I want to show how good the game art was, and of course any art will be better than blank. Then, I got ripped pictures of the game and start to make them. I'm searching which picture is good for this card and which is for another for almost a day long. Resizing these pictures, and after the card "baked" in YCM, I start to echance it. If I found something wrong such as typos, I creating another new and do the finishing job again. I want to give some good effect with Photoshop but alas I don't have currently. I'm using ACDsee 5 Editor and MS Paint only. What do you say about my case ?

 

Then, did we need to discuss about art disclaimer, copyrights and so on when we're using another artist art ? Even if we don't know who was the artist ?
