You can if you look hard enough, especially the color blends and such you used on the edges and the streak lines just above the left of the head. That's your stuff there. Honestly, had I not used your images(we're not allowed to whine, remember :lol:) I wouldn't have left in those streaks...and I probably would have continued my airbrushing all the way out to the edges and used a black background. Hopefully pointing this out will allow you to better see your own work intricately woven into my work...because it's there and I followed your rules. ;)

i guess with every person that quits, the more chances i have of winning the contest. XD

 

that just isnt a cool way to win though.

 

and it is sad that people are stopping their card making. i still make mine..

I agree, that is indeed unfortunate(especially since you're on my team in another contest J-Max :P) and don't worry, Kale, I might be short on time here and there...but I'm still here. ;)

 

Ok, I've been quite busy for the past few days and will more than likely be quite busy for a good portion of the rest of this week, but there is something in this thread I feel I need to address before this proceeds any further.

 

i see the colors yes

and i see what could be seen as the air bubble

 

but i am telling you this

this is extremely close to not following the rules

and i am debating whether or not to mark you down a point or two..

 

You see the colors and the things I pointed out...that's excellent. By that very admission my entry is within the guidelines set fourth by you to compete in this contest. There were no quantifying statements on how much of the artwork you provided had to be recognizable once the process was completed and the option to edit the images was provided in your own rules. I was not intentionally trying to skate this close to the supposed 'edge' when it came to your rules...because I was unaware there were any edges at all. An entry was either acceptable or unacceptable and since I followed the rules of this contes my entry should, therefore, be perfectly acceptable. I do not like the idea of docking points from my overall score in this contest for two very simple reasons.

 

1. It does, of course, go towards damaging my chances of winning this contest.

2. On a deeper note you would, in effect, be punishing someone who took the time to create something for one of your contests for being creative. This is something I thought was one of the focal points of this contest. If you punish me for my creativity then you are also discouraging any future creativity from other participants who would enter one of your contests.

 

Since I do not have the luxury of any additional time to devote towards working on this card it will stand as I have originally made it. In the end this is your contest so you have the final say, but I am well within the rules as you have written them out for this contest and you didn't add any kind of disclaimer for editing the rules in a manner which would make my submission not within those rules. I'm just pointing these things out so you can see things from my perspective. ;)

your part of the creativity comes in the card making itself, not the picture editing >_>

 

But where i stand as of so far, I will not dock you points, but, if there would be a tie, between your card and someone elses, you will, .5 points of the vote.

i really dont see much use for this card, it takes forever, and the eventual pay off, is five cards that you might not even be ble to draw.

This set was pure awesomeness, and can deffinately be able to be put in the acutal game!

This, was extrememly hard to determine, i mean, extremely, extremely hard >.<, but, i thought about it, and this card would take longer to get it its full potential, while darths set would be alot more easier, but i still think your card, has some killer combos, many killer combos >.<)

 

 

so, after tough judging, and contemplation, i have the winners:

Our 3rd Place winner, is

Enigma Zero (which, btw, i did not deduct .5 points from your score, which i said i would if you were to be in a tie...)

 

Now, since the twist is that the 3rd place winner decides which person gets which prize, we shall wait for Enigma to decide.

But first place, gets 20% of the points either way, and second still gets a rep

 

 

Enigma can decide to either,

give the points to second place winner, and the reps to first place winner, and vice versa

or, split everything equally between first and second place winners.
