Phantom Roxas
This is the Burn Deck I use for Tag Force 2, but I only use it so I can get past the enemies in "Visitors from the Abyss". I do duel with it against others occasionally, and it usually wins. Phantom Roxas
Then why does tonis test some of his Decks in Tagforce 2?
aaronpoe1988
I will not deny that it is a good idea to test Deck concepts in video games. This is because of the easier access to cards, and the wider variety of potential opponents, especially in the online handheld games. It gives a player the ability to test against things they might not see in real life very often and learn what match-ups they need to be prepared for a little more. Whether or not using a video game to test a deck concept is a good idea has nothing to do with whether the actual Deck is good or not, though. A concept is simply what kind of logic your applying when constructing your deck, and how you play it is usually based more on that concept then the end result. The deck is a pile of cards that no player can truely capture the average person's playstyle by gauging. This said, this deck appears to have a serious consistancy-based drawing problem. At 44 cards, with no draw power, and the only true thinners being Assailant, Shell, and Scattershot, you are almost never going to be pulling those Scattershot off through the Accelerator. Not to mention some cards here are simply weaker versions of other cards, and deserve no place in a Deck that didn't require them over their more efficent counterparts, like Hinotama. So no, I don't think this would have a very high success rate against anything main stream, and definitely not against anything Meta. Also, not to critisize, but Wild Fire is not a Trap Card. It is a Quickplay Spell Card. ~Poe.
Phantom Roxas
Thank you for the reply, didn't realize I accidently put Wild Fire under Traps. I do plan to get Volcanic Rocket soon, but any other thinners you could suggest. Also, I swapped Hinotama for BwC.
aaronpoe1988
Part of me thinks it is slighty disresctful to turn this into a freakin' Deck fix, but what the heck. please don't take it personally if it is to you. Blazing Inpachi, Darkfire Soldier #1, Darkfire Soldier #2, Infernal Flame Emperor, and Burning Spear are ridiculously bad cards. drop those instantly. Charcoal Inpachi, Elemental Hero Lady Heat, Elemental Hero The Heat, Flame Ruler, Inferno, Tenkabito Shien, and Thestalos The Firestorm Monarch are certainly not unplayable. But they definitely do not all belong in the same deck. And as for Lady Assailant of Flames... just no. You can run anything you want in a video game. IF you want to do this in real life, first you have to actually decide on the theme. The deck Elemental Hero Lady Heat and Elemental Hero The Heat should be used in is NOT Doomfire's deck, no matter how hard you try. So what card(s) are you married to? ~Poe.
