Seriously though' date=' Valuable cards like Dark Armed Dragon make UDE more money, therefore we have better tournament play.

And what about those who do not go to tournaments, yet still enjoy playing?

I'd Say Blue Thunder' date=' The Calculator, Chain Material and the Fool should be at least a Rare, I'd say they all have a chance of being a Gold Series 2 Common... Limit Reverse WAS a Super in Japan, but Konami was restarted and made it a common in the TCG.

To Everything else: They should all be Ghost Rares [/sarcasm']

Also: Skill Drain Should of been either Super or Ultra, Dark Nephthys should have been a Super, Belail should have been an Ultra and Storm Neos should have been a Rare.

An ideal game sells so well that there would be no need for certain cards to only be available in certain hard-to-obtain rarities.

Shiny cards are coveted by people, dimwitted or not, who like shiny things. Taking advantage of the shininess urge is fine, as long as folks are willing to pay for the shinier paper.

The end result is that the ideal game would not just commonize all cards, but would have every card available in every rarity. Cards could theoretically be sold according to the "rarity quality" of a pack; higher rarities could be astronomically difficult to find, such that a much higher market price would be worth the investment.

This is not economically sound for YGO; while YGO is #1 worldwide, it is not selling so amazingly well as to be ridiculous.

All cards should be common.

How can you say this and not be a communist?

Easily. A childrens card game and a political idea aren't the same thing.
