I don't care what anyone says: SNIPE HUNTER DOES NOPT HAVE VARIOUS ATTRIBUTES! HE IS NOT A LIGHT MONSTER. STOP PUTTING HIM IN A LIGHT DECK. Being a slave to the theme isn't good. Should I not run Morphing Jar in Dark World because it doesn't have Dark World in its name?

My point is that having cards that support the theme, that aren't related to the theme are still important.

 

Snipe Hunter is a great card to use. You can discard any dead card to possible destroy any threat. With Freed in the deck(which he should be in here) Snipe Hunter can discard light monsters to help Freed use his effect.

I think you should re-add Fried. Also Reckless Greed is a trap.

so cyber dragon is bad in monarches because monarch isn't in the name? or stratos is bad in DAD? or necro gardna being bad in LS.

Necro Gardna is debatable in LS. CCV, however, is a waste of a card space.

The theme of monarchs is Summon, destroy/remove/return, pwn. Cyber dragon is a free special summon, are there other free special summons? Yes, can they be played, yes, is cyber dragon a must NO! Will it be beneficial, yes. Can you summon normal monarchs without tributes? No (well not without the field card, or legally) So to answer that STUPID question, no cyber dragon isn't bad in Monarchs. And to even use monarchs as a Themed deck in that manner is idiotic and doomed of failure, almost like your attempt right now is full of failure.

 

Dad only needs dark monster, ANY DARK MONSTERS in the "Meta" Dad build with all the d hero's, no its not bad, BUT what would be bad is Stratos in a DAD deck that had no destiny hero's. So in answer to your idiotic question, depends on what DAD deck your running.

 

And not all LS decks run necro guardna, IMO yes its bad, it wasted deck space for more useful cards. If all you wanted to do was negate one attack so badly, play swords, now u got 3 whole turns of not attacking instead of 3 instances to stop 1 attack.

Necro Gardna is better than Swords of Revealing Light. If you mill Swords you can't use its effect. With Necro Gardna, its a live card on the field and in the grave. You don't have to summon Necro Gardna, he just has to be in the grave. Lightsworn decks have multiple ways of either milling him, discarding him(i.e. Lumina, Monster Reincarnation).

 

And Tonisanoob, you should put Freed back in. He is amazing in a Light deck.

First! What do the most popular monarchs being used right now do? Most popular right now, remove from play. Second most popular, Return from the field on top of deck, after that you got Zaborg and Thesty for tie, Destroy than discard (another form of removing) Mobius (more removing and destroying) And lastly granmarg (destroying / removing)

Than even without there effects (just name alone) "Monarchs" would own the field by just being 2400 monsters. AND GAWD ONLY KNOWS thats wrong. When he was saying...

Finaly! i was just waying a small PROS and CONS. Not to say people should do this but lets look at it any way. Swords is 1 card that can block any where from 0-15 attacks. Where necro guardna can only prevent 0-3 attacks. THAT was the point i was trying to make, to discuss playability... thats a whole nother topic for a whole nother thread.

CAIUS IS AT 3, meaning it will show up faster, THUS MAKING IT 1.

Raiza COULD BE 1 IF IT WASN'T LIMITED, MAKING IT 2nd place.

Kuraz is new, and not widely used yet, but defiantly not last, its got the spot before grandmarg.

Thestalos, Like Zaborg, and mobius, AND Grandmarg DONT SEE MUCH PLAY ANYMORE. Thus making thier standings from last META stand out.

Last meta you either used 3 RAIZA OR THREE ZABORGS/THESTY! THAT MAKES THEM TIED! NO DEBATE, JUST TIED

Mobius came after, NOW we add Kuraz, and finaly Granmarg.

 

BUT IF YOU CAN SHOW ME PROF THAT A STANDINGS LIST WITH MONARCHS ACTUALLY EXIST, ill shad up and delete every post on this thread. If not, please accept this "You FAIL!" badge, and wear it proudly.

I don't know much bout Light decks, but I can tell from the fact that you made it, it is a great deck
