This is the name given to the war between the residents of the Parallel dimension, and the Fate-Keepers. Earth is in the middle of all of this, and humans are recruited to fight for each faction. Using the popular card game, Duel Monsters, to avoid detection, resulting in the losing duelist being bannished to the dimension they fought for.
