Shaco Posted July 29, 2007 Report Share Posted July 29, 2007 Ecpae's Keeper of Light - Sacré***Atk: 1100Def: 1200Light/Fairy/Effect: Once per turn, place 2 "Ecpae's Light" Counters on cards that can acquire them. Increase the Def of this card by 300 for each "Ecpae's Light" counters on the field. -Introducing the first of Ecpae's Bloodline. As you may notice, all of the names are French (* will provide the translation). Now for the card: Sacre is a very fast way to get a lot of Light counters on the field at once. With it's own effect, it is already powered up to 1800 Def, and one more will let it defend against Cyber Dragons, and with 4 it can defend against Monarchs. To escape the risk of Normal Summoning it, Ecpae's Sacrarium will allow you to Normal Summon her straight into defense. * Sacred Ecpae's Daughter - Lumière***Atk: 1500Def: 1700Light/Fairy/Effect: Once per turn, place 1 "Ecpae's Light" Counter on this card. When this card attacks a Face-Down monster, you can remove 1 "Ecpae's Light" counter from this card to destroy the monster without applying Battle Damage. *Light-The who destroys the concealed, Lumiere takes out all F/D monsters better than Mystic Swordsman LV2. Besides that, you can accumulate Light Counters to reap the benefits of support cards. Ecpae's Daughter - Santé****Atk: 1800Def: 1300Light/Fairy/Effect: Twice per turn, you can remove 1 "Ecpae's Light" Counter from the field to increase your Lifepoints by 700. During the turn this card is sent to the Graveyard, all Battle Damage you take is reduced to 0. *Health-If you're running Low on Lifepoints, you can use both of the Light Counters gained from Sacre, to gain a quick 1400 LP. And going with the trend of LP protection, if this card happens to be destroyed, you're protected for the rest of the turn. Ecpae's Son - Ciel******Atk: 2000Def: 1900Light/Fairy/Effect: When this card is Tribute Summoned, place 1 "Ecpae's Light" Counter on all cards that can acquire them. Increase this card's Atk by 100 for each "Ecpae's Light" counter on the field. Once per turn, remove 2 "Ecpae's Light" Counters from the field to destroy 1 card your opponent controls, or randomly discard 1 card from their hand. *Heaven-The only known son of Ecpae's Bloodline, Ciel starts off fairly weak for a Level 6, but all of that quickly changes when he's summoned. He is likely the best way to gain Light Counters, he usually gets about 3 or more Counters out, which is a guaranteed 2300 Atk off the bat. And with all of the support, you will have about another 4 counters out, bringing him to 2700. Quite good for a Lv 6. And, by simply decreasing his ATK by 200, you get to destroy something of your opponent's. Ecpae's Pet - Ami**Atk: 300Def: 200Light/Winged-Beast/Effect: Once per turn, when an "Ecpae" monster would be destroyed as a result of battle, it is not (Excluding "Ecpae's Pet - Ami"). When this card is destroyed, special summon 1 "Ami's Soul Token" (Fairy-Type/Light/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 1700). "Ami's Soul Token"s can acquire "Ecpae's Light" counters. *Friend-The immortal pet that was originally owned by Ecpae herself. Even long after her "death", it still protects her master's bloodline. One Ecpae per turn isn't destroyed by the first attack, giving a Gyroid effect to some much stronger monsters. And once it's destroyed, it replaces itself with an even stronger token, with the added effect of being able to acquire Light tokens, although it doesn't gain any effects because of them, Ciel will make use of it, I'm sure. Protector of Ecpae's Bloodline - Amour****Atk: 1900Def: 2200Light/Warrior/Effect: Your opponent cannot select another "Ecpae" monster you control as an Attack Target. If an "Ecpae" monster you control would be destroyed, you must destroy this card instead, then draw 1 card. This effect doesn't have to be used in the cases of "Ecpae's Pet - Ami", or "Protector of Ecpae's Bloodline - Amour". This card can acquire "Ecpae's Light" counters. *Love-When Ecpae was killed, her undying love for the world she helped create birthed this selfless being. Through the generations, he has stood guard, along Ami, to protect her descendants. Although Amour doesn't have to use his self destruction to protect his copy, or Ami, they are always protected from attacks. Multiples of himself cause the same effect as Magician's Valkyria. If he uses Self Destruction, along with protecting an Ecpae, you get the added bonus of drawing another card, for the selfless act. Ecpae's Shepherd - SoignerAtk: 2100Def: 1500Light/Fairy/Effect: You can discard this card to the Graveyard to add 1 ''Ecpae's Sacrarium '' from your Deck to your hand. If this card is on the field but ''Ecpae's Sacrarium '' is not on the field, destroy this card. This card can acquire "Ecpae's Light" Counters. *Shepherd- Basically higher Def version of Zeradias. It can also acquire Light Counters for support. Ecpae's Sacrarium Field SpellOnce per turn, increase your Lifepoints by the number of "Ecpae's Light" Counters on the field x 100. When an "Ecpae" monster you control is sent to the Graveyard, place 1 "Ecpae's Light" Counter on a card that can acquire them. Also, "Ecpae" monsters can be Normal Summoned in Face-Up Defense position, although it is treated as a Set. -Ah, Ecpae seems to have redecorated the Sanctuary in the Sky. Although it has lost it's damage reducing effect, you can still get some Lifepoint reinforcement out of it. It's own LP gaining effect is increased by it's second effect. So the loss of a descendant is not in vein, you get a nice little light counter ^^. And a nice addition is the ability to "Set" face-up, so that Sacre's will not be vulnerable the turn she's summoned. Ecpae's Sacred LightContinuous SpellOnce per turn, place 1 "Ecpae's Light" Counter on this card. When this card is destroyed, increase your Lifepoints by the number of "Ecpae's Light" Counters on this card x 200. Increase the Def of "Ecpae's Keeper of Light - Sacré" monsters on the field by 500. If this card is destroyed by the effect of a Spell card, draw 1 card. - What is there to say about this card, it's the source of Ecpae's Light. The keeper can defend even better with it, and it's Light Counter acquirement is good for support. Nuthin' more to say. Generous Burst of LightSpellRemove 4 "Ecpae's Light" Counters from the field. Draw 2 cards. If this card was activated while you control "Ecpae's Sacred Light", you can Destroy that card, and an "Ecpae's Light" Counter, to draw another card. At the End of this turn, gain 1000 Lifepoints. -Lol, it seems every set these days has to have a drawing engine (Rare Value, Destiny Draw). But really come on, If you have the Sacred Light is out, you get to draw 4 cards and gain 1k!!! Although it does require you to remove 5 Counters, from the field, which makes it pretty hard to play 2 consecutively. Glint of HopeQuick Play SpellReturn 1 Level 2 or lower LIGHT monster from your Graveyard to your Hand, then increase your Lifepoints by the Original Atk of the monster. - In the deck I built around these cards, I had 3 Skelangels in it, so why not make a card for it ^^. Also works with Ami. A Light WindQuick Play SpellDestroy 1 Face-Down Spell or Trap your opponent controls, then place 1 "Ecpae's Light" Counter on a card that acquire them. - No downside here, remove a possible threat, and get a Counter, What's not to like about that? Ecpae's Piercing GazeContinuous SpellOnce per turn, destroy 1 DARK monster on the field, and place 1 "Ecpae's Light" Counter on this card. -Straightforward. Use with "Perfect Opposition" to take out an extra monster, while gaining some Counters. Ecpae's CompassionContinuous spellOnce per turn, during your Main Phase you can Normal Summon or Set another monster, as long as it is a Level 2, LIGHT monster. - Skelangel & Ami. What a nice card. Summon an Ecpae, then while Sacrarium is out, Set Ami face-up to protect it. I like it personally XP XY Bloodline Trait - Effulgent AuraEquip SpellEquip only to "Ecpae's Son - Ciel". Decrease the Atk and Def of all DARK monsters your opponent controls by 500. Equip monster can attack all DARK and Face-Down monsters your opponent controls once each. Only the equip monster may attack while you control this card. Any Battle Damage your opponent takes is reduced to 0 and changed to your Lifepoint Gain of the same amount. During the end of this turn, destroy this card, the equip monster, and all "Ecpae's Light" Counters you control. -The ability that only the Males of Ecpae's Bloodline posses. Although it is an equip spell, which most people tend to stay away from, it has a pretty decent effect. If played with "Perfect Opposition", All monsters your opponent controls will lose 500 right off. Then, this crazy blazing dude can attack everything your opponent controls. Although this can't be considered a finishing move, it clears out their field, and gives you an incredible LP boost. Unfortunately, once Ciel disperses the Aura, it takes away a lot more, including himself, and every Light Counter you have, Which is why it is important to try to get rid of as many as you can during your Main Phase 2. Bloodline Trait - Shining AuraContinuous TrapWhen an "Ecpae" monster you control is attacked by a DARK monster, you can remove 1 "Ecpae's Light" Counter from the field to destroy the attacking monster and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x 100. (Excluding "Ecpae's Pet - Ami" and "Protector of Ecpae's Bloodline - Amour"). - Although less impressive than Ciel's Aura, this card is more versatile. Once again, used with Perfect Opposition, your Ecpae Monsters are invincible to their attacks, as long as you have Light Counters to spare. Bloodline Trait - Light Density Continuous TrapOnce per turn, you can remove 1 "Ecpae's Light" from the field to Special Summon 1 "Solidified Light Token" (Fairy-Type/Light/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100). When a "Solidified Light Token" you control is destroyed, increase your Lifepoints by 500. The effect of this card is not applied if you do not control an "Ecpae" monster. ("Solidified Light Token"s cannot be used as Tribute for a Tribute summon, except for "Ecpae" monster) - The Ecpae Bloodline is famous for their unusual control of light particles; spanning from being able to form a protective barrier from darkness, to making weapons and beings from solidified light. The Ecpae's can convert a Light Counter into a healing being. Although it can't be used for Monarchs (Which everyone seems to be crazy about these days) They can be used to Summon Ciel without having to give up an important monster. Perfect OppositionContinuous TrapAll monsters you control are also treated as LIGHT, and all monsters your opponent controls are also treated as DARK. This card cannot be destroyed, except by monster card effects. -Eh, I don't have anything else to say about, I've mentioned it like a thousand times already! ----------------------------------------New Cards----------------------------------------------- E.A. Shining Warrior - Courageux***Atk: 1500Def: 1200Light/Warrior/Effect: When this card attacks or is attacked by a DARK monster, you can decrease the Atk and Def of the DARK monster by 100 for each "Ecpae's Light" Counter on the field, until the end of the damage step. *Courage- Enter the first of Ecpae's Army (E.A.). Because they aren't direct descendants of Ecpae these monsters won't get any of the Bloodline Traits, or the protection of Amour, or Ami. This card is really only to be used with "Perfect Opposition", so that every battle will use his effect. You can expect that there will be at least 4 Light Counters out at any given point, so he can at least take down 1900 monsters E.A. Heavenly Razor - Céleste****Atk: 1700Def: 1200Light/Fairy/Effect: Once per turn, you can send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard to increase this monster's Atk by 400 until the end of the turn. When this does battle damage from a battle involving a DARK monster, Increase your Lifepoints by 600, and place 1 "Ecpae's Light" counter on a card that can acquire them. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, draw 1 card. *Heavenly- Ecpae apparently fused Parshath with Trooper. This card would actually be pretty good outside an Ecpae Deck. Although the mill is kinda low, it gets it's Atk matched with Cyber Dragon with only 1 card. The second effect is once again, to be used with Perfect Opposition, making every monster Dark, you can gain quite a bit of Lifepoints, and Light Counters with this effect. And, it's a floater... Awesome. E.A. Shadow Consumer - Dévorer***Atk: 1000Def: 2300Light/Rock/Effect: This monster can be Normal Summoned in Face-Up Defense Position. Once per turn, by lowering the Def of this monster by multiples of 100, destroy 1 Dark monster, whose Level is equal to the Lifepoints paid Divided by 100. If this card is destroyed by battle, by a DARK monster, destroy the monster that destroyed this card. *Devour E.A. HeadquartersContinuous SpellOnly activate when "Ecpae's Sacrarium" is face-up. Increase the Atk and Def of all "E.A." monsters by 100 for each "Ecpae's Light" Counter on the field. Once per turn, by paying half of your Lifepoints, Special Summon 1 "E.A" monster from your Hand, Deck or Graveyard. E.A. Behemoth Warrior - Bringer de Paix**********Atk: 3500Def: 2800Light/Beast/Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by offering 3 "E.A." monsters you control. This card is unaffected by Spell, Trap, or Monster card Effects until the turn it was Special Summoned. When this card is Special Summoned move all "Ecpae's Light" Counters you control, to this card. You can remove 10 "Ecpae's Light" Counters from this card to destroy all other cards on the field. This card is destroyed at the end of the turn. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you gain 1000 Lifepoints. *Bringer of Peace Link to comment

But I'll try anyways ^^ Hmmm, maybe, but I might have to change the effect of the card if I want it to stay for longer. Link to comment
