A New Card

Recommended Posts

So I was just being bored, putsing on different sites, when I came across this card

vjmp_025.jpg

It's called the Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, its a Dark, Machine, Fusion monster with 8 levels

That's it. That's all the information out about it. No ATK or DEF stats, not even the Fusion-Material monsters or the effect

But it will come out as a V-Jump promo August 20th.

I'm sensing a Cyber Dragon/Chimeratech Overdragon support card. Comments?

i doesnt even look like it has anything to do with cyber dragon? and what would be the point really to fuse chimeratech overdragon when u already used your future fusion and overload fusion to bring the sucker out, chances are u throw ur cyber dragons into the mix to power up chimeratech? so i think it has nothing to do with the old boy cyber dragon. its would just be a waist of your chimeratech u worked so hard to pull out.

XD really i think the monsters looks... fall short of chimeratech overdragon. i mean Chimeratech ur stareing down a monster machine dragon with f-ing 6 heads and the power of 12 cyber dragons. when i see chimeratech u better hope u layed that face down sak, rod, mf, mc, or face the end. this new monster looks like Steamroid and Chimeratech retarded clubbed baby that they left out on the streets for a good couple days, then brushed it off and said it would be ok... lol

Finally found out more info about this card

ATK/0 DEF/0 (As groudonjango said)

"Cyber Dragon + 1 or more Machine type monsters"

This card can not be used as a fusion-material monster. This card cannot be special sumoned from the fusion deck excpt by sending the above mentioned fusion-material monsters from your side of the field to the graveyard. (The Spell card is not used). The original ATK of this card becomes the number of fusion-material monsters x1000.

The original text in the parentheses was different, but I edited it to make more sense.

Pretty terrible card, assuming thats an accurate translation. Decent in a chimeratech deck I suppose. Basically your taking a cyber dragon with 2100 ATK and taking up to four other monsters to the grave. If you use two monsters it has 2000 ATK, so you lost power. If you have three monsters, which is rare against a decent deck, you get a blue eyes. How this could be properly utilized I know not.

Well, too be honest, looking at Overdragon Grubby has in his sig, its simliar to Overdragon but here are the differences.

Overdragon: ATK x800 Fortress: ATK x1000 - Fortress gains 200 extra ATK from its effect

Fortress can be summoned from its deck, provided you have the fusion-material monsters on the field.

Overdragon can attack as many times as the monsters used in the fusion, Fortress can not.

It explains why Fortress is a 8 star while Overdragon is a 9 star, Fortress is basically a weeker version of Overdragon, although its easier to summon

And Fortress is weaker, since the FM (Fusion-Material) monsters can only be on your side of the field, while Overdragon's FM monsters can be on the field AND your hand, so, although Overdragon's effect ATK is weaker then Fortress's by 200, it can be much, much stronger.

So for those who have Cyber Dragon/Chimeratech decks, this card is very helpful. For everybody else.......Steer clear of this speedbump. (No offense.)

How is it good even in a chimeratech deck? You cant even bring it out and then bring out overdragon with overload because it blows up fortress. And seeing as its weaker than cyber dragon alone with less than three materials. Totally useless, I pray that the translation is wrong because thats just a sad effect.

And if you get four or more, your opponent sucks anyways...
