tehodis
OK, instead of replying to seperate PMs, here's a (I think it's simple) tutorial for how to make Booster Packs on PSP(8 ). It may be compatible with other versions of the program, and may also be compatible with Photoshop, and Gimp - I'm not sure. Anyways, here it is: Step One;;Start with a blank canvas with 164H(eight), and 280W(idth). Fill the image in with a very bright green or pink. (Example) Step Two;;Create a 'New Raster Layer' [Layers --> New Raster Layer], and create two smaller rectangles, 16 pixels high, and 164 pixels wide, in the opposite color you used for step one (eg. If you used the bright green, use pink, vice-versa). Place one at the top, and one at the bottom of your image. Then create 2 pixel wide lines on the left and right, going from the top to the bottom in the same color.(Example) Step Three;;Another 'New Raster Layer', in this step save [THIS IMAGE], and open in the program, copy it, and paste it into the new layer you created. Position as needed.(Example) Step Four;;Go down to your bottom layer (With just the one color covering the whole thing), this is where you now put your image. So paste your image, and again position as needed. Step Five;;Create a new image, the same size, and give it a white background. Select the text tool, and set the color(visible against white). Type in your text onto the white, and then go into the 'Selections' tab. Choose Modify --> Expand --> 1. Then go Selections --> Modify --> Feather --> 3. CTRL+C what you have and then press CTRL+Tab to go back to your image. Create a new layer and place your text. Step Six;;Go to the second layer, the one with the border. You can choose to do what you want with this part. You can make some image effects, or something like that, or you can use one of the premade images that I did [bottom of the post], and just save onto your computer and open it, Ctrl+C and then (make sure you're on the second layer) Ctrl+L. If you need to change the color of the image you're using press Shift+L and use the colorize effect. Step Seven;; Save, upload, you're ready to go! I'd love to see what you make with this. If you need any trouble-shooting help, or if you have any suggestions/questions/comments just post here or PM me. Border Images:Removed the borders because people were stealing them. tehodis
I Don't have photoshop This tutorial isn't for photoshop.I hate PS.I have PSP. Paint Shop Pro. From Jasc/Corel. It's cheaper than PS, and it does all the exact same things.
Shin Akuma
Any program, except MS Paint, is good. GIMP is what i used to make the Street Fighter pack, but Photoshop is just a more expensive version of it, likewise with the Paint Shop Pro. In all cases the tier is GIMP>PSP>PS. Sorry, Paint Shop, but ur second to Photoshop, in my opinion. Otherwise, this arguement is pointless.

Sorry' date=' Paint Shop, but ur second to Photoshop, in my opinion.arguement is pointless.[/quote'] Well, actually PSP does the exact same things PS can do, except it doesn't have a couple of the filters PS has, and PS doesn't have some of the filters PSP has. So they're nearly the same. PSP is easier to work with imo though, and it's cheaper.

So they're nearly the same. PSP is easier to work with imo though, and it's cheaper.that is all in ur opinion. all im saying is try to adapt to different programs. u posted a PSP Tutorial, and i adapted it to GIMP version which is alot easier done than said. that said, ima post a GIMP Tut real soon, same for this one tho.....soon.Open The GIMP and open a New image and set its size as 280(height), and 164(width). Double-click on the Black;White foreground-background colours and set the forground color (double-click Black) and set it as florescent pink or electric lime green. Fill the current layer with foreground colour. Make a new layer and select the Rectangular Select tool and on the tool box, select the rect tool as fixed size. then in the two boxes, set as 16px high and 164px wide. from the top and bottom, make the two rectangles. Fill with florescent pink (if you chose the bright green) and vice-versa. Then go back and set the size for the rect tool and set as 2px wide, 280px high. select the sides and fill with the same colour as the one for the rects. Copy the YuGiOh logo and paste onto a new layer. Position as necessary. On the first layer (your layer with one whole filled colour,) and paste your image onto that layer, and be sure to cover all of the pink or green. Position as necessary. Then, copy the border of the pack and paste it on the layer with the opposite colour. Position as necessary. Finish up your image and save as .PNG and upload it onto your image hosting site. I know this is not clear because im in a rush to make it. I will clarify on my next time on YCM.net. Tehodis, im not disrespecting u, I just clarifying some stuff with others cuz not many ppl use PSP but more of Photoshop 7 and The GIMP 2.0 thnks and to the best of our knowledge. tehodis
Shin Akuma, I was comparing PSP and PS not anything with GIMP... Anyways, post your tutorial on your own thread, not on mine.
Shin Akuma
ok, since ur rep is big, ill respect ur decision. however, it would be pointless to make like the same tutorial, for a different program. I'm not trying to make u mad k? i am ur ally, ur fiend. And also, your worst enemy. And i probably will make a new thread. Just you wait. And furthermore, thnx for the tut. It make my street fighter booster in less than 10. looks pretty cool too.

tehodis
Oh yeah, you need to credit me for the border you used on your pack. As it says on the first page, if you use my borders you must give me credit where you use them.
