I only remember being "scared" twice when playing video games. Neither of the games are on the list.

 

In the original Halo, I was playing the level were you first see the Flood. I was in a large dark room in the middle of the night playing at around 1AM. When I noticed the time, I thought it would be best I went to bed. But to get to bed, I had to go from the basement to my room on the top floor. I don't think I've ever ran from the basement to my room that fast before. :P

 

This was actually pretty recently. I was fighting Laughing Octopus in MGS4. I have a pretty nice TV, so I got to be that "suspenseful-ish" battle on a 60" TV in 1080p in a large dark room at (again, my basement), and you guessed late at night. I personally thought that battle was pretty creepy and suspenseful (seeing as Laughing Octopus would come out of nowhere and attack you while laughing all creepy-like). About halfway through the battle, I thought it would be best to turn the light on.

Scary? What's so scary about them? We all know the deal:

Humanity is being pushed to extiction by zombie outbreaks which started from nowhere. Everyone is a zombie and a team of cops or civilians are trying to stop 10,000 zombies from feasting on their delicious brains.

 

If your asking for my favorite i'd have to say Resident Evil.

F.E.A.R. is the scariest fucking game ever. I remember playing it and when you walk through this door a body falls in front of you. Then this little girl is talking about all this creepy shit.

Lol. Ditto for the flood.

I remember being in the Library on the original Halo..

Two things happened to me that.. Kind of creeped me a little.

 

1) I finished up some miniature amounts of flood, abusing the over-poweredness of the handgun, before walking out into this massive open space. I just kept on walking through, wondering why the heck it was so quiet.. I was starting to get a little creeped out, with that feeling when you know somethings going to happen, and your just waiting for it.. And then, as I took one more step forwards.. I noticed half a red-dot up ahead.. As I kept walking towards it.. More red-dots appeared behind it.. Then, those ones started moving towards me, revealing more red dots. I got scared in the sense that I was seriously about to get F'd over.

 

2) After killing all those flood, I kind of stood victories over about 15 bodies of them, you know, the flood with the massive claw-hand thing. Anyway, I'm pretty much out of ammo, save an assualt rifle clip and a few plasma grenades. You know what the flood decided to do? Stand up. 15 of them just stood up around me, while I was trying to look victorious. Never knew you had to kill some of them twice.. ~_~.. Rigged..

 

Oh yeah. Almost forgot. I was playing through the library, when I fell into one of those ramps in the floor, you know, the lead into the confined passage way.

And.. Yeah. Ran into one of those fat bulgy things at close range, before I knew they liked to explode. ^_^. I was all "Man, what an easy shot.. What.. What the hell.. It's convulsing.. " And then it popped, right in front of me. >_>. Scared the heck out of me.

Yeah. That's about it.
