Problem?: Yes there maybe a problem but I would be happy to answer each of your questions. 1st prob. Could we make a skin that allows us to make our avatars 150x150? Answer: Yes and No. It will depend on the YCM system or web site. It may not allow you. Question 2 Can we upload any skin? Answer: No first it must be checked for Viruses, P*** stuff, and leakage. We cannot trust anyone in uploading any skin. You must PM me or a mod to check what you have done before hosting it. And no we won't upload it but the mods and the admin will. Question 3. How can we make our own skins? Well you need Microsoft Front Page or Macromedia Dreamweaver. Microsoft Front Page Will come free with the office set but Dreamweaver is an adobe product so you'll have to buy it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I'll re-check it.[/quote'] Oh, actually I meant that one of the skins has bright blue and white colors with flashy icons and the other is blue and white with normal forum icons and three callouts besite the myBB logo. And this is just a pointless spam post so please edit it and write something that may help. And you don't even know what a skin is? it changes of YCM looks. Cyber Altair Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 actually a good thing would be for YCMaker to move over to vbulletin, it's not that expensive and they have tons of cheap skins that he can change the skin once every 15 months or so and it will keep us happy. thing is even though this is a custom skin and a really cool one it just doesn't look good after using it for 2 STRAIGHT YEARS. we need a change. I make skins great in them but it's the difficult part is when uploading. Many leechers enter but it will only appear if your using a computer with guest on. Other than that I don't think anything will happen. Using front page is hard. But if you really want use HTML and CSS. They are hard but Eh I read a lot and passed this section. I'm working on a big thread but I need to write what they need to do. It's actually hard explaining on writing but better in videos but it will take me a lot. But one of the mods uploaded it so we don't need to pay for it. We just need a mod or a GFX mod to apply it to the current skins. It will be very easy for us but not those who are new to HTML codes, CSS, etc. But we need an example can you make a quick Skin and show it to me or a mod? o.0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SushiTheLegend Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 I don't think anyone apart from YCMaker can actually touch that type of thing, but you bring up an interesting idea, what if we have some GFXers/Skinners who could maintain the skins and add new ones to the skins, could be an interesting idea to put forward to YCMaker and maybe even get some attention. But as I saw I thought that the S Mod changed it so it may have been the Admin. but YCMaker or a mod must check it first. I have been threw this problem 5 times and I wouldn't like to see it happening again. I was moding a forum the other day when suddenly I saw someone with Virus leakage coming from his thread to another forum. It it was meant.
