[spoiler=Episode 1]Nick could here the cracking thunder outside, just as he was walking into the banquet hall of Duel Academia.

"Hmm, time for a midnight snack!" he said, gomping the food down like an animal. "I wonder.....*munch*.....what the rest of the students are doing right now!"

Nick scurried through the dorms. Everyone was asleep, except for one person.

"Who could that be?" he asked in his head.

Suddenly the figure turned around with large glowing red eyes. It sent a chill down Nick's spine.

"Whooo....who are you!" Nick asked, frightened.

"I? I am merely the person that seeks something in life" the strange figure said.

Nick was confused, as he did not know what to think.

"Well, what are you doing here!?" Nick said.

"I am looking for Arcreus Molo" the figure said, Nick could tell it was a man now.

"I don't know who this Arcreus is!? But why would you be at duel academia for here!?" Nick said as a lightning bolt struck nearby the window.

Nick jumped back, and looked outside the window. The storm had gotten worse now, seemed there were gusts blowing all around the academia. Then a miracle happened.

"Wow, its storming pretty bad out there" he exclaimed.

He quickly turned around to were the man was standing, and he was gone. Nick wondered what happened to him, but at this point he was so tired from hearing the *pop* *pop* of hail on the roof of the academia, that he slowly slouched his way to his dorm, once back at the dorm, Nick caught something out of the corner of his eye in the window. It seemed that same man was standing at the dock. Then abruptly the clouds moved swiftly away, resembling no sign that a storm had ever happened.

Nick was still watching the man, then all of the sudden the man jumped in to the water, like a diving crane.

"What!?" nick screamed as he watched the ripples in the water fade away.

The man did not come back up. Nick sat there for 15 minutes or so, waiting for some bubbles or something. But nothing ever happened.

Nick went back to sleep not even thinking of what happened, moments later his friends, Suko Armeti, a lively girl from the mountains of Japan, and Chuko Semy, a plump boy from Thailand, appeared at Nick's feet waiting for him to wake.

"Get up!" Chuko said loudly, making all of the roommates in the dorm wake up as well

"Come on Nick!" Shuko said in a sweet voice. "You don't want to miss the Academia cup!"

"What! The Academia Cup is today!? I didn't even realize" Nick said shocked. "I have to get ready and get good seats!"

Nick, Chuko, and Suko shortly after, arrived at the Duel Arena, where the 2 duelists, Raviel Whye and Chris Creator were getting ready to duel.

The 2 judges, Jess O. Chaos and Mike S. Wade were prepping the duel arena, making sure all functions of each duelists Duel Disks were good, and checking the hologram imagers.

"Chris, I hope you brought your A game!" Raviel said.

"Oh trust me, I did Raviel, and you best of brought it too, as my Fiend deck will pulverize yours." Chris exclaimed in confidence.

As the 2 duelists stepped on to the duel disk platform, the raised them and soon enough the duel was underway.

"Hmphh, I guess you will go first Chris!" Raviel said

"Gladly!" said Chris drawing a card "Hmmm, well it seems that you will get some damage come first turn this time Raviel! I activate Spell Card, Tremendous Fire!"

A beam of fire shot out into the sky of the arena, then embers from the flame came down, and decreased Raviel's Life Points by 1000 and Chris's by 500.

"Hmphh, a simple ember will not stop me!" Raviel said.

"Not yet it won't!" Chris said "I summon, Card Trooper! And with his effect, I can tribute him to decrease your Life Points by 1000!"

As soon as the Fire Trooper hologram appeared, it disapated into much bigger embers and burned Raviel.

"Gah! That is really starting to burn!" Raviel said, in the cheesiest way. "Maybe you will need some water!" Chris said. "As now, I activate activate a Spell Card, Double Summon, which means I can normal summon once more this turn! So I summon, another Fire Trooper from my hand and use his effect!"

Fire Trooper bursts into embers and burns Raviel.

"Crap! I only have 1000 Life Points left on my first turn!" Raviel said, worried.

"And now, to finish you!" Chris said, confident. "I activate, Premature Burial! To bring back one of my Fire Trooper, and you know what that means!"

"Oh no" Raviel said.

"I tribute it to finish you off!" Chris exclaimed, triumphant.

"Wait wait!? Thats all!?" Nick said in the spectator stands. "That wasn't much of a duel at all! You finished him in one turn! Your really good!"

Chris bowed, much appreciated as Raviel backed up and left the arena. As the cup giving ceremoneys were underway, Raviel was at his dorm.

"How could I lose like that?" he said "Chris....he.....he is so good."
