Yes. I always research games before I buy them. If I find out they don't look that interesting, I won't buy it. I have a policy: for most things, if it's not going to be used/played a month after it's bought, it's not worth getting.

I research about any game that comes out. If I'm going to be a video game designer I need some ideas. Also, my friends always come to me if they need to know stuff about video games, so I'm always a help! ^^

yah that happens to me about 30 percent of the time but now that i have a summer job i can afford more stuff. like say my XBOX 360 among other things.

Well I'm still a very yound kid.....people think I'm like 18 or 15 online by the way I act, but to tell you the truth I'm only 11 years old.....

So I have time to reaserch alot, but I don't have much money to buy video games. I ALWAYS have to buy any video game I want, the only acception is if it's a holiday or my birthday.....

I research games all the time, and it's 50/50 on whether I actually buy them or not. Burst Limit, for example is a game I did a lot of research into, and once I found out it's controls were like that of Tenkaichi, I didn't bother with it.

I can believe that. Enjoy being young while you can. Some of the best games I've played were made when I was younger. (Like, when I was 5ish). Sucks though, now you actually have to be 17 when buying an M-rated game. (Which is stupid, but I'm not going to get into that). Well, doesn't matter to me, I'm 17 now. :D (Getting a little off-topic here)

 

Yeah, since I want my games to last me a while, I always research them. Especially if I'm importing a game. I did extensive research on what consoles were region-locked and what consoles weren't. Nothing would annoy me more than paying $70+ (American dollar is starting to suck. Big time) on a game I won't even be able to play. (Well, without modding tools).

Yeah, most people are shocked when I tell them my true age, but it is true, I'm only 11 and it does suck that you have to be a certain age t buy a video game. Like most Naruto games are rated "T" and I don't think that should be the rating. "E" 10 and up" is more like it.

 

I like Japanese video games, like the Naruto Gekitou Taisen EX 2 (I think I spelled it wrong).

I learned that GRAW 2 had less favorable reviews on the PSP and bought the xbox 360 version instead

I did it lots of times.

I researched Pokemon D/P whenI was about 5 months to buy it, I did it with Megaman Battle Network 6, and some PS2 games.
