Kaze’s Return Competition ~ An Image-Mix Contest! WINNERS POSTED!

Depends all on how you look at it. It has the potential but you have to use it in a deck with Gemini Elf(a nice Normal) and you have your pick of cards like "Inaba White Rabbit"(700/500 Spirit), "Dark Rabbit"(1100/1500 Normal), and "Blade Rabbit"(400/300 with a decent effect). So you get an Elf, a Rabbit(Maybe 2), and a Fusion Card and you can make this happen. Then you have to either take you chances with the coin toss or put in a card like "Second Coin Toss" to get the effect you want. Even after all that you could make good use of this card but when you look at the other cards out there. A 2500 attack is decent, but it has low DEF and can still be taken out by one of a very large number of cards. I believe the combination of it requiring an elf, mostly unused rabbit cards, and being a gamble card more than balances out the attack and effect...but that's just my opinion. ;)

The only thing I'm 100% certain of is that if I decide to use this card in a future set...I'm changing the pic. :lol:

P.S. This card would be horrific, however, if you could pull it off with Future Fusion though but even then you have to pretty much "guess" how many rabbits to use in it based on how many cards you'll want to destroy of your opponent's 2 turns from now. ;)

I guessed that was the case. It was a good tactic since alot of people seemed kind of 'uncomfortable' with the image itself. Personally, I was just glad it didn't have bunny ears and tentacles in the same pic or I probably would have been in real trouble. :lol:

Thanks for the kind words though. I just saw it as Kaze mentioned, it was a challenge so I did my best to overcome it. In this case I just tried to make something somewhat unique and fun without needing to make the support structure for the card itself so I chose existing cards that normally don't see their way into the same deck yet still made logical sense(twin elves + rabbits = Twin Rabbit People). ;)

Enigma, what's the name mean? And, on another topic, here's my card.

48710gx2.jpg

[spoiler=Effect]This card cannot be Advance Summoned. When your opponent Advance Summons a Level 7 or higher monster, if this card is in your hand, you can discard all other cards in your hand to negate the effect of the monster and Release it. Then, Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is successfully Special Summoned, it gains the following effect: -Your opponent cannot Release monsters unless they pay 1000 Life Points for every Released monster.

I made this before you got to answering my question, Kaze, so I used the Master Rule OCG as a precaution, even though I hate it.

Not bad tectonix. ^_^ I was just going for best image' date=' didn't even think about messing someone up for some reason. Anyway, I like the way you used ma image. I'd've made it a really powerful nomi, but then again, every monster I make is a really powerful nomi. XD

Eh, I was going for best image, too. :P

Thanks for the support, though. I was planning on making it a Fairy, but I looked at the picture, and it was a dragon, so that screwed me up. An archon is a type of divine being, like a fairy, but I didn't want to change the name after changing the type.

Alright I squeezed my brain for its creative juices and here is the result based on this wonderful image of awesomeness. I tried to add some kind of Alice in Wonderland ambient because of the weird planty and fruity creatures.

[spoiler=Card Lore]

This card can only be Special Summoned in Attack Position by removing at least 2 Plant-Type monsters and 1 Beast-Type monster in your Graveyard from play. The original ATK of this card becomes the number of monsters you removed from play to Special Summon this card x 700.The original DEF of this card becomes 0. The Battle Position of this card cannot be changed until the turn after it is Special Summoned. Once per Duel, when an opponent’s monster whose ATK is higher than this card’s ATK declares an attack, you can force it to attack this card. Change this card into face-up Defence Position and switch its ATK and DEF. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can activate 1 of the following effects:

-Special Summon 1 “Hodoki Token” (Fairy-Type/EARTH/3 Stars/ATK 500/DEF 1500) in face-up Defence Position to your field.

-Put 1 Blütensturm Counter on 1 Level 2 or lower monster on your field. If there is 1 Blütensturm Counter on a card, it can only be destroyed by EARTH monsters.

A/N: “Blütensturm” has the meaning of “petal storm”.

Im so sorry my card was late. My work shift goes past Midnight now and i didn't have any time on the computer this morning (family got it) I hope it's still accepted. All i could think for that picture was a trap card though. Please accept my appologies. :(

Just a question though. Why is the lore on everyone's cards so small? aren't we all using the same card maker?

Here are the results:

[spoiler=1st Place]

tectonix55

A true and proper effect. A nice counter to the higher level monsters such as Light & Darkness Dragon and Magician of Black Chaos that isn’t in game. The fact it gains an additional effect when Special Summoned adds to the player’s incentive to use it. The low ATK and high DEF of this monster actually make it more searchable (not having to wait to draw it and end up drawing it too late) and gives more adaptable uses (For example, using Masked Dragon to Special Summon it in DEF as a wall). Congratulation, tectonix55, you deserves this victory.

[spoiler=2nd Place]

Enigma Zero

ENI-FnU-1.png

XD I definitely enjoyed the idea of new “Rabbit” support (Now if only they would print Gamble Angel Bunny(lol)). This card is indeed a gamble, but the more support cards you have, the more you can change the odds in your favour (Future Fusion, Second Coin Toss, etc.). It’s low-level/high-attack make an interesting combination that makes up for the card’s erratic effect. This card is both deserving of Joey Wheeler and 2nd place. Excellent job, Zero!

[spoiler= 3rd Place]

Tuffguy1992

jakg8h.jpg

The first card submitted that came close to taking 1st Place. This card carries a lot less fusion support, and a lot more ATK-abuse. It’s unlikely it’ll last the 3 turns required to summon a fusion monster, but it’s still a good monster none the less. The two biggest monster you could choose would be Five-God Dragon or Chimeratech Overdragon. Sure its ATK would be a little high, but restrictions balance it:

- It’s DEF remains at 0.

- No real Plant support. (Including a specific Gemini Monster).

- Must be Normal Summoned. The most important restriction.

- The monsters are removed from the game, a nice choice since a lot of monsters take advantage of being in the graveyard.

The reason this card was bumped down to 3rd was the overhanging OTK potential it carries. Aside from that, I could see this card fitting into a CyberDark deck rather nicely. Great work, Tuffguy!

[spoiler=Best Pic]

Doom Wraith

Shining_Dragon_by_pamansazz.jpg

A beautiful monster that looks like it fits perfectly into the Yu-Gi-Oh! monster universe perfectly. Coincidently, it was the pic the 1st Place winner had to use.

Thank you all for entering! I hope you all enter my next contest... which should be up later today... maybe tomorrow. Anyway, it`s going to be a `reverse contest`.
