Quest for the Starsign Cards (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's)

This fan-fic has barely the same story as my RP, but the Starsign cards used in this fan-fic is not the same (except for Libra).

[spoiler=Chapter 1: Duel in the Moonlight!]

 

It was in the middle of the night. Max was sitting next to his D-Wheel. This one was a blue collored one with white trim. He stared at the stars and thought about his parents, they was gone, he thought he'd never see them again. He heard the sound of a motorbike coming against him. He looked at the direction of the sound and saw that it was a police from Security.

"What do you want?" Max asked as the motorbike stopped.

"Mehehe... You are one of those guys from Sattelite, aren't you?" The policeman smiled meanly.

"Does that matter?" Max now stood up and stared at the Securityguy.

"I've got a task to do, I must catch at least two Sattelite-people's a day to get payed, I cought one an hour ago, so you will be the second one!" The policeman un-mounted his motorbike. "This is a D-Wheel, I think that the bike behind you is also a D-Wheel, am I right?"

"Maybe..." Max started to get irritated at this guy.

"Do you care for a little duel? If I win, you come with me! If you win, I will let you go!"

"That's fine with me." Now Max smiled. "You will let me go, I'm sure with that..." He mounted his D-Wheel and equipped himself with a light blue helmet. "Let's go!"

Max started his motors and activated the Spell card Speed World. The duel screen appeared at the D-Wheel with information about cards and Speed Counters. As he accelerated, the bike made a loud noise and started to move in high speed. The Security guy also accelerated and soon he cathed up with Max.

"So, Securityguy, if I can call you that, are you ready?" Max asked.

"Oh, please call me Aaron! And yes! Let's go!"

 

Max: 4000 LP 0 SP (Speed Counters)

Aaron: 4000 LP 0 SP

 

"You can start, Aaron"

"Heh, okay! Draw!" Aaron looked at his hand. "I will summon the monster card, Ally of Justic - Thousand Arms! (1700/0)" A machine-like creature appeared next to Aaron, levitating in mid-air. "This guy can attack all LIGHT monsters on your sid eof the field once, but you don't have any, so I'll just let you play and see if you play any."

Max looked at the Machine, it had six arms, with each arm holding a weapon.

"My turn!" He drew a card, looked at it for a moment, and then looked at the machine again. "Let me show you this card!" He revealed a card in his hand, Garis the Stargazing Beast. "When I reveal this card in my hand for you, I can send the top card of my deck to the Grave, if it's a Monster, you take damage equal to it's Level and I get to Special Summon this beast!" He picked up the top card of his deck. "Hey look! It's the monster card, Cosmo Dragon! It's a Level 3 monster, so you take 300 points of damage! And I get to Summon Garis! (800/800)" A beast-like creature appeared next to Max, it had big wings razorsharp claws. "But I'm not done yet! I also summon the monster Fiend Roar Deity Raven (1300/1000)" A humanoid figure appeared on the otehr side of Max, this also had wings. "Now to my Raven's Special Abillity! By discarding any number of cards, I can increase my Raven's Level by one for each card discarded, and I will discard one!" He discarded a card and threw it in the graveyard. "Now! Because Raven's Tuner status, I will synch him with Garis!" The winged man turned into energy that surrounded the beast and it began to transform into a bigger beast, however, this one was white and a shining light could be seen around him. "Say hello to, Moonlight Gryphon! (2100/2000)" The beast was flying beside Max in high speed. "And he has a Special Abillity too! For each Tuner monster in my Grave, he gets an additional 200 attack points! (2100--2700)" The beast started to shine even more.

"Bu-but why did the attack increase by 600!?" Aaron stared at the beast with fear in his eyes.

"Because the card I discarded for Raven's effect was Starlight Knight, a Level 3 Tuner monster." Max smiled. "And do you remember Cosmo Dragon? That's also a Tuner monster!"

"Oh no!" Aaron said.

"Moonlight Gryphon! Attack with Nightslash Cyclone!" Max shouted.

Aaron almost fell of his D-Wheel when the attack blasted at his monster and destroyed it.

 

Max: 4000 LP 1 SP

Aaron: 1700 LP 0 SP

 

"My turn!" Aaron said and drew a card. "Haha! This trap card is sure to put your mouth shut!" He putted a card face-down on his field, and a face-down card appeared flying beside him. "Also, I think I will summon my Ally of Justice - Cyclone Creator! (1400/1200) But he can't match the power of your Gryphon, so it's your turn."

"Thank you!" Max drew a card. "Moonlight Gryhon! Attack Cyclone Creator!"

"Mwahahaha! I activate the Trap card, Sakuretsu Armor! It destroys any monsters that attack me!" The Gryphoon was blown up and left nothing after it.

"Oh no!" Max shouted. "Argh, hm..." He looked at his hand. "I will put one trap card face-down. Then activate the Speed Spell card, Vision Wind! This let's me Special Summon one Level 2 or lower monster from my grave, so say hello to Fiend Roar Deity Raven!" The winged man was summoned once again next to Max. "Then I will summon this card, Rallis the Star Bird!" A Bird appeared from nowhere and flew besides Max. "And once again, I will throw a card to the graveyard to synch my Raven, but this time with Rallis!" the man turned to energy again and this time it shrouded around the brid, and the brid transformed into a big swan. "You maybe recognize this guy."

Aaron just stared at the new creature.

"You don't? Well, it's a card based on the starsign Cygnus, and it's named afte rit to: Cygnus the Starlight! (2000/1000) However I can't attack again this turn, so it's you're turn!" As he ended his turn, the bikes went on a bridge and then entered a tunnel.

"Okay! I think I'll play the monster Ally Bomb! (400/300) And why not do like you and synchronize them it with Cyclone Creator?" The mechanic bird and the bomb like thing fused to create a new, spider-like machine. "This is Ally of Justice - Catastor! (2200/1200) Attack Cygnus!" The spider attacked the swan, but suddenly the Gryphoon appeared in it's way. "WHAT? Your Moonlight Gryphoon died last turn! Why did it come back?"

Max smiled again. "Because of my trap card! It's called Corpse Wall! It revives a monster and re-directs the attack to it!"

"Ah, no probs!" Aaron smiled now. "Catastor destroys all non-DARK monsters without taking damage!" Once again, the beast blew up. "Your move!"

"I will finish this now..." Max drew a card. "First, I activate Scroll of Bewitchment, but I take 2000 damage!"

 

Max: 2000 LP 3 SP

Aaron: 1700 LP 2 SP

 

"By the way, Scroll of Bewitchment changes my Cygnus attribute to any one I like, and I chose DARK! Then I summon Magna Drago! (1400/600) Now Cygnus! Attack Catastor!" The swan loaded a blast and fired it on the spider.

"But Catastor has higher attack!" Aaron shouted.

"Lolattack!" Max replied. "Cygnus abillity takes care of that! When he attacks, his attack is increased by 500 for each face-up Tuner monster on my side of the field!" The spider exploded. "Now Magna Drago! Attack him directly!"

 

Max: 2000 LP 3 SP

Aaron: 0 LP 1 SP

 

Aaron's bike stopped and Max drove away from him.

"Now leave me alone! Cya, securityguy!" Max shouted at him, and left.

End of Chapter 1

 

[spoiler=Chapter 2: Awakening the Starsigns! Gemini Arrives!]

 

Max woke up in Joe's house. Joe was Max' friend since he was young, Joe was the one who found him at the street, next to a container. The room was small, there was only one window, but it was big enough for one bed and a very small table. He walked out in the hal.l. The house was also very small, but there was enough space for two rooms, the hall, kitchen and a toilet. When Max entered the kitchen Joe was already making breakfast.

"Good morning, Max! Here's your toasts!" Joe gave Max his toasts and Max ate them. As always, they tasted very good, toasts was also Max' favorite food.

"Thank you Joe!" Max said. "I think I will take a ride in the city! Cya later!"

"Ah well!" Joe said, and started making some toasts for himself.

Outside the sun was shining. It was a wonderfull day as Max was riding his D-Wheel at the streets. Suddenly it started to hurt in his cheek and without thinking he turned to the right and crashed into a container and fell of the D-Wheel. When he opened his eyes he found himself in a dark alley. Even though it was at the morning and the sun was shining the alley was very dark and a bit scary. He touched the cheek where the pain had been, but it was gone now. When he was going to mount his D-Wheel again he heard a voice:

"Are going to leave already?"

Max turned around and in the shadows there was a boy, probably around Max' age.

"What do you want?" Max asked.

"Oh, nothing special!" The boy smiled. "I was just sitting here in the shadows for myself when you entered."

He looked at Max' D-Wheel. "You're a duelist, right?"

"Yes, but that doesn't matter for now." Max attempted to munt his D-Wheel again but once again the boy interrupted.

"Duel me!"

"What!?"

The boy repeated his last words: "Duel me!"

"Oh well it will not take a long time defeating you!" Max said and pressed a button on his D-Wheel, then he putted his arm under a lock on the bike and a Duel Disk was activated.

"So, are you ready? I need to be back at my house soon!" He said.

Now the boy stepped in a little stream of light and Max saw him propperly for the first time. His hair was long and green and he was wearing white clothes and a long white scarf that covered the neck. The left eye was closed, and a scar was covering it.

"I don't think you will be able to ride back to your house after this!"

Suddenly a flashing light covered the whole alley and when Max was able to see again he saw that they wasn't in the alley anymore. It looked like if they was in total darkness, but he was able to see the boy very clearly.

"What happend?" Max asked.

"Well, it's a thing I use to call a Shadow Game!"

"Huh? You must be kidding me! A Shadow Game? They can only be performed when one of the contestants has a Millennium Item, and you don't seems to hide something under your clothes if you ask me!" Max sounded a little scared.

"Well, there's one more thing that can summon a Shadow Game, a warrior of the Stars... Like me!" The boy removed the scarf, and on his neck was a sign "I'm Jonas, the Warrior of Gemini! And if I'm not mistaking myself you are a Warrior of the Stars too, but you haven't unlocked your opwers yet, and that's what I'm going to do!"

"I'm not really sure if I want to duel you anymore!" Max said.

"I'm sorry that you must, or else I will be forced to take your soul!"

"Well, then let's get this started!" Max drew his hand and an additional card. "I'll start things off! I play the Field Spell card Starchart!" The field changed into a space-like place. Stars could be seen everywhere. "Do you like it? As long as we plays on this field, we can draw two cards at our Draw Phase instead of one, however, at the End Phase of our turn we need to discard one card!"

 

Sorry but I need to stop writing now, but you will get the end of Chapter 2 tomorrow!

 

 

 

Maybe there's nothing special in the first chapter, but it will make sence later. Please comment!

I must say I like the idea behind this series, I just wish I'd come up with it first, oh well. On the whole a well pulled of riding duel, although there are a few typos which is understandable, also a few more details would help such as describing the monster's attacks. Aside from that this is very well written, keep it up I can't wait to see more ^_^...

Unfortunately any character in the RP will not appear in the Fan-fic, if you don't submit it here. (But then you will need to give me the effect, ATK and everything for the Starsign card)

Lol, unfortunately Ai's for my own fan-fic once I finish my current one, but you're free to use a character similar to her if you wish...

Ah, but I planed on having someone riding a pink D-Wheel from the beginning, and because Virgo is a fitting starsign the rider will probably have it, only with another name :P

Chapter 2: Awakening the Starsigns! Gemini Arrives!

 

Then Max felt a horrible pain on his left cheek. It felt like if it was burning. The area around him started to dissappear He fell to the ground. He didn't know if he was asleep or whatever, but he still heard Jonas' voice:

"What's the matter? I think you said that you would defeat me!?"

Suddenly he woke up, the duel wasn't over and he raised in a standing position.

"It's not over yet Jonas! I will defeat you and your monstrous twins!"
